After getting ready and packing his luggage, David, along with Manson, Jerry, and another guard, Inspector Larin, took a car toward the airport.

Half an hour later, the four of them arrived at Section Three of the airport.

A plane was already parked there, along with what seemed to be a specially modified Cadillac Beast, and beside the car stood a man with a buzz cut.

“Good morning, Inspector David.”

“Very well, Assistant Krebo.”

This man was one of Obadiah’s assistants.

“This is the gift the director has arranged for you. Let me give you a brief introduction.”

Krebo pointed to the car beside him and explained, “This is a Cadillac Beast. Its body is designed with multiple layers of armor, including high-strength steel, aluminum alloy, titanium alloy, and ceramics, with an armor thickness of over 20 centimeters.”

“The windows are made of multi-layered bulletproof glass, inches thick, capable of effectively resisting armor-piercing rounds and explosives. Particularly, except for the driver-side window, all other windows are permanently closed to enhance the overall protection. The tires are made from bulletproof nylon materials, equipped with a special steel rim design, ensuring the vehicle can remain mobile even with damaged tires. David interrupted Krebo’s detailed explanation, thoughtfully asking, “If I remember correctly, the President’s official vehicle is the Cadillac Beast, and the features you just described seem exactly the same!”

Krebo chuckled and explained, “Correct, this is specially obtained from the Secret Service by the director. It was one of the President’s spare vehicles!”

Upon hearing this, David was taken aback. It seemed Obadiah was genuinely concerned about him being targeted again, having gone so far as to obtain one of the President’s exclusive vehicles for him.

“And what about this?”

David pointed to the plane beside them.

“This is a Boeing 787-8BBJ, which originally belonged to a tycoon in Texas. However, the tycoon went bankrupt and owed a significant amount to our Internal Revenue Service in taxes, so he used this plane in lieu of tax payments. Now, it belongs to our Internal Revenue Service, or rather, strictly speaking, it will belong to you, Inspector David, as your personal aircraft!”

While the presidential vehicle was one thing, the private jet was indeed very convenient for David. After all, he would have many places to visit in the coming days.
