Chapter 25 - 25 24 Su Chenfeis Abs
Chapter 25: Chapter 24: Su Chenfei’s Abs Chapter 25: Chapter 24: Su Chenfei’s Abs The two chicks entered the paper basket, and Mianmian and Gu Youyou started naming the chicks.
Of course, they didn’t forget they also had to find the filming location, so they chatted and walked on.
“How about we call this bigger one Dahuang?” Mianmian asked Gu Youyou for her opinion.
Gu Youyou nodded, “Okay, then I’ll call mine Xiaohuang.”
After deciding on the names, Gu Youyou became very happy, calling out “Xiaohuang, Xiaohuang” nonstop.
Seeing her friend happy, Mianmian was happy too and joined in calling Dahuang.
Shouting like this along the way, they left the market, and the group walked on the main road for about fifteen minutes.
Then, Mianmian took another look at the map and turned into the residential area. The houses in the small town weren’t as regular as those in big cities, they were mostly self-built by rural people, with one here and another there, connected by roads in between.
In the live broadcast room, the audience watching the naive child’s map on the screen looked down on Mianmian’s navigation.
[Where have they gone? They’ve circled several streets and are still on the road.]
[Qin Tao has already found the path for going to the rural areas. The way things are going, they might not arrive until it gets dark, haha.]
[What kind of mystical little auntie, it must be a live-stream script prepared in advance by the Su family, right? It’s just that they failed to bribe Hu Haohao, so their true colors are showing here.]
The criticism on screen towards Mianmian reached new heights.
Mianmian knew that sneezing meant someone was talking behind your back. She frowned slightly and stopped with the team in front of a small town villa.
There was a small farm truck parked at the entrance of the villa.
After Mianmian arrived, she walked to the door to knock.
After three knocks, someone opened the door.
The person who opened the door was a middle-aged man with a big smile, “Hahaha, I didn’t think anyone would actually find the way here.”
Mianmian nodded, “Yes, the map told us to come to your house.”
A child walked out from behind the middle-aged man, clinging to his thigh and not speaking.
“My son drew this map; I never thought anyone would understand it. Oh, by the way, my name is Li Gao. Come on, I’ll drive you back to the countryside now,” he said.
After speaking, he picked up his son, locked the door, and called everyone to get into the truck.
The small farm truck had only two seats in the front; the back was empty, used for hauling cargo. Su Chenfei frowned upon seeing no seats, “Little Auntie Mianmian, I’ll hold you later, just don’t move around, okay?”
Mianmian nodded vigorously, “Okay!”
She had previously been briefed by her family about cars, but they hadn’t covered such strange vehicles.
By then, Li Gao had already put his son in the front passenger seat and looked back to ask, “Need a hand? It’s a bit high, not easy to climb into.”
Su Chenfei had already settled Mianmian in the truck and climbed up himself.
As he turned around, he saw Liu Hui struggling to climb in.
Though Liu Hui was dressed in activewear, being from the city and lacking in height made it difficult for her to climb in smoothly.
Next to them, Chu Ye and his father had already gotten on the truck. The father and son, both men of few words, furrowed their brows and held onto the truck, staying put.
Su Chenfei hesitated but still extended a hand toward Liu Hui.
Liu Hui smiled, “Thank you.”
With Su Chenfei’s help, Liu Hui finally managed to get on the truck.
Su Chenfei then assisted the staff and the camera guy to climb on before telling Li Gao in front that they could go.
The truck started up, traveling on the bumpy cement road.
Mianmian placed the chicks on her lap, leaning into Su Chenfei’s embrace; with each jolt of the truck, she laughed.
It was so much fun, nothing like riding on Flying Sword.
Finding it amusing, Mianmian even started counting the jolts. As she counted, the truck reached a muddy road.
It seemed like it had rained recently; the muddy road was full of puddles, making it tough for the truck and even tougher for people to walk on.
Qin Tao and Xu Weiwei were carrying kids, stepping deep and shallow, their brows deeply furrowed.
Suddenly hearing the sound of the truck’s horn, they looked back.
Upon seeing the truck, Xu Weiwei waved at it and spoke in somewhat high-and-mighty tone, “Hey, could you give us a ride?”
The truck slowed down.
Li Gao rolled down the car window, “Sorry, the rules state that I can only take the person who finds my family. You guys take your time walking, I’m really sorry.”
That statement made Xu Weiwei frown.
She glanced at Qin Tao, feeling a bit regretful about following him. Even if being with the Film Emperor could boost her popularity, walking on this half-dry muddy road was too high a price to pay.
Then Xu Weiwei looked at her son again.
Perhaps intimidated by Mianmian’s actions, her son hadn’t thrown a fit up till now, which was a stroke of luck among misfortune.
Different from Xu Weiwei’s resignation, Qin Tao was exceptionally irritable at this moment.
What did he see? Su Chenfei and others were sitting in the car, and Su Chenfei even waved at him, saying, “Sorry, I wanted to take you with us, but there are rules in the show. Hang in there, buddy.”
In a short while, the car had sped off into the distance.
Qin Tao was so angry that his face contorted.
What was happening? He was the one who was supposed to be in the car! Where had his luck gone? The person who sold him the bracelet had clearly demonstrated the imp’s abilities, and even if he couldn’t see the imp, it had never made a mistake before.
What was happening now? Could it be that it had stopped working?
Damn it, without a mobile phone, he couldn’t contact that master.
Qin Tao cursed continuously in his heart, his expression uncontrollably turning sinister.
[Ah, Tao looks so angry…]
[If I were in his shoes, I’d be angry too. Why didn’t they take Tao? If the car can’t take adults, they should have at least taken the kids.]
[As a casual variety show fan watching with a split screen, I find your comments hilarious. The variety show has rules, okay. It was Qin Tao who didn’t want to walk with our Little Auntie, so it’s his own fault he couldn’t get in the car.]
[Qin Tao’s expression looks so scary. Forget it, I won’t open Qin Tao’s live-streaming room; I’ll focus on the two cute kids instead.]
The audience didn’t continue discussing Qin Tao’s expression, but the reporters lurking in the live broadcast room to capture news were thrilled. They screen-captured the image of Qin Tao staring at the departing car and also grabbed the video footage of Su Chenfei talking to the driver about wanting to take Xu Weiwei and Qin Tao.
Unaware that he was being screen-captured by tabloid reporters, Su Chenfei held Mianmian and sighed, “It’s getting so dark, I don’t know how long they will have to walk.”
As a singer, his voice was naturally pleasant, especially when he sounded concerned.
After saying that, and feeling the night air cool, he promptly took off his jacket and used it to cover the sleeping Milk Bun.
Old Lady Su had repeatedly emphasized that children’s constitutions are different from adults’. If adults feel cold, children are sure to be already cold and need to be kept warm.
Su Chenfei, who was only wearing a loose T-shirt, now removed it, revealing a muscular physique under the twilight sky.
The muscle definition was attractive, clearly the result of diligent exercise, not just for show.
[Ah, is this a treat? Why is he suddenly taking off his clothes?]
[Hiss, that’s a perfect inverted triangle, right? There are pecs and abs, Su Chenfei’s body is really great.]
[Looks slim in clothes but has muscles without them, wuwuwu.]
Qin Tao’s fans who wanted to bash Su Chenfei were at a loss for words. They couldn’t find anything to criticize and couldn’t even send a single barrage comment.
Whether they were star chasing men or women, all had a bit of a fixation on good looks. On that premise, wanting male and female stars to have good figures was nothing unusual.
One can’t simply claim that Su Chenfei, sitting in a dirty open-air truck with natural folds in his skin at the waist, has beautiful muscles because he’s wearing a muscle suit, right?
They really couldn’t bash him!
When Su Chenfei took off his clothes, Liu Hui couldn’t help but take a second look, honestly.
Appreciating beauty is not wrong.
After looking, she furrowed her brows and held Gu Youyou even tighter.
She couldn’t afford to take off her clothes to cover Gu Youyou.
“How about sending the kid over here to sleep? It’s getting colder,” Su Chenfei suggested, pulling the T-shirt open that was covering Mianmian, “I invited you because I was worried about my Little Auntie’s little friend catching a cold.”
The explanation seemed somewhat superfluous.
But Liu Hui smiled and said, “Okay, thank you.”
She carefully handed over the child into Su Chenfei’s arms.
The two adorable Little Buns, covered with an adult’s clothes, were sleeping with rosy cheeks. The open-air truck jolted for almost an hour before finally stopping in the open space of the village.
With the lights turned on, Director Hu called out, “Arrived? Come and have dinner.”
Then he sent Li Gao back to pick up Qin Tao and Xu Weiwei, who were still walking.
What do you think?
