Calm night… The seashore is making wavy sound waves in a rhythmic fashion.

Das is sitting inside his camouflage tent, arranging things in order. His camp stood in a corner of the Farus family personal space.

"Sir, can I come in...?" A male voice came from the entrance of the tent.

Staring at the American face through the closed tent entrance, Das said. "Come in."

After stepping inside, the tall American middle-aged man directly kneeled before Kent.

"Young master, my name is Mathew. I am the commander of the Shadow clan forces in this war. The patriarch ordered me to follow your command." Matthew said in a respectful tone while staring at the sandy floor.

"Get up." Das spoke while sitting on the swinging chair. "Just follow the Farus family commands for now. I will definitely call you in the crucial tone. At that time, don't hesitate, even if it depends on your life." Das said in a serious tone while staring at Matthew.

"Young master, half of our troops are suicide squads. I can guarantee that they won't hesitate in the event of death. I will be waiting for your command." Matthew replied in an obedient tone.

"By the way, place two loyal soldiers outside my tent. I want no one to sneak inside my place during my absence." Das replied, thinking about tomorrow's meeting.

"As your wish, master." Matthew again bowed and left Das's tent.

After eating the lavish meal delivered to his tent, Das came out. The two soldiers of the Shadow Clan bowed in with respect. Das nodded and left, walking towards the large expense of the army.

Starting from the Farus family camps, Das began moving along different tentacles of the octopus formation. Each tentacle sheltered more than half a million soldiers with proper resting tents, placed in a hexagonal, interconnected formation.

By the time Das came for observation, all the soldiers were gathered in uniform lines. A middle-aged man with a clean shave is commanding the troops.

As Das moved through several tentacles, he saw the same pattern of gathering units and performing war commands instructed by the in-charge commander.

Through observation, Das found that each tentacle contained one full combat unit. Half a million soldiers in one tentacle belong to one combat unit. A single combat unit contains 25% backward archers, 25% front shield bearers, and 50% of the attack unit contains soldiers with swords, sabres, spears, maces, and different types of attacking weapons.

The entire octopus formation contains 13 tentacles, supporting 6.5 million soldiers. But the present count of the Farus family is 5 million, short by 1 million compared to the opponent force.

As there is still one full day left before the beginning of the war, the number is sure to fill.

Time passed like a walking sun, and Das continued to walk in the dark night. After observing the 12 units, Kent came to the last tentacle unit, which looked somewhat different from the others.

He mainly found several women and very few men in this unit. Unlike other units, there are no drills or organised training in this place. Compared to other places, the facilities are also very low.

Das did not understand why this unit was left like this. After careful observation, he found that all the serving staff, cooks, cleaners, and servants were grouped in this unit.

"Hai, young man." Suddenly, a feminine figure tugged on Das's shoulder.

With one look, Das recognized the stout lady. She is the same lady on whom Das tripped during inspection because of the scar guy's pushing.

"What are you doing here?" Das questioned while continuing to walk forward.

"I should ask you the same. This is the place allotted to weak and serving staff. By any chance, have you also failed their drill?" The stout lady asked with a questioning look. She continued to follow Das with an excited smile.

"What drill? Are they testing each individual?" Das questioned back with a curious look.

"Of course, everyone needs to surpass certain parameters based on their role. Sadly, I failed to cross the arrow distance hurdle, and they mercilessly threw me here. But I feel much happier here, as I don't need to participate in the initial war." The stout lady replied without leaving Das's shoulder.

"Ohh… If you are afraid of war, why did you come here?" Das asked while checking the mile-sized kitchen setting built at the edge of the of the tentacle formation.

"For money. They chose me because I am the commander of a Canadian air unit. As my son needed that money for his operation, I took on this role. Hmm, this is very depressing. By the way, my name is Kelly; what is your name?" The stout lady asked with a curious smile.

"Mohan Das. I'm just a city thug." Das replied with a chuckling smile, feeling the stout lady's eccentric behavior.

"Ohh, that's good. At least you can have some good stories to tell." Kelly replied while staring at the horizon, where a lady sat alone at the beach shore.

Das already saw the lady, who is the same beautiful girl that stood before Kelly during the inspection.

"Hey… Kavi, what are you doing here alone? I am searching for you all over the place." Kelly shouted while dragging Das towards the seashore, where Kavi sat.

But the lady continued to stare at the sea waves without responding to Kelly's shouting.

As Kelly reached her, she saw Kavi drinking cans of beer in a silent atmosphere. "Why are you not responding to my shouting?" Kelly asked with an impatient look.

Instead of replying, Kavi passed a beer can to Kelly and gestured for her to sit down. Her gaze shifted towards Das, and after a brief stare, she turned back towards the sea.

With a cursing, Kelly sat beside her and pulled Das's hand. With a sigh, Das sat beside the stout lady.

As Kelly passed the beer can to Das, he rejected her generosity. "I'm more of a wine person." Das replied calmly.

Both Kavi and Kelly turned their heads and gave a weird look. "Where are you from?" Kavi, who sat silently until now, asked with a questioning glance.

"The same nation where you are sitting now. Bharat."
