Chapter 358 – Ghost here and there

Aiko flew around in this space, she found some kind of nodes, but they were not labelled or described.

There was actually very little to do.

"Huh? Mistress?" A voice suddenly drifted from behind Aiko.

"So you are Lady Liu's Sister?" Aiko turned around and looked her up and down.

The female Ghost blushed. "Y-yeah." She didn't expect Aiko to look so pretty.

"Whoa..." Aiko nodded. "I thought you were asleep?" She was sure that they were still asleep.

"He definitely still is, but because of this lamp, I was able to recover some of my strength faster." The female Ghost said.

"Hmmmm..." Aiko had mixed feelings about this, but there was one point that she didn't understand. "Why didn't you come out sooner?"

"This lamp is supposed to trap Ghosts." The female Ghost said unblinkingly.

Aiko nodded absent-mindedly. "Wait, does that mean you are locked in here?" It suddenly occurred to her that she might be trapped in here, unable to get out unless Aiko allows her or makes changes to the Lamp.

"That is correct." The female Ghost said.

"I will fix that later." Aiko nodded gently. She might be a Nightmare, but she still needed their help.

"How about the other guy?" Aiko asked her.

"Still asleep. He didn't get the same benefits I did, so he was unable to recover much." The female Ghost said.

"Got it. I will head out now." Aiko disappeared in front of her. She was still trying to get over the fact that she was Lady Liu's sister.

Aiko shook her head as she 'woke up' in her body. She immediately got to work, changing that Inscription to allow her outside.

Aiko also wanted to move the Ghost from the Wood into the Lamp, but that could wait. She could always ask the Ghost to move him inside.

Finishing the adjustment, the Ghost appeared in front of her. "Move him as soon as possible, so I can use that wood." Aiko commanded her since she still had a few things to do.

There was Luna's Gift that she hadn't touched yet, since her Nightmare Form was all over the place.

Aiko took out the gifts and looked over the first book.

Moon Aiko immediately turned red from that title, but she didn't give up.

There was an explosion above Aiko's head as she slapped those books back into her tails.

It took her a good few hours to calm down and she picked up Luna's Note.

'I should've read it first!' Aiko blamed her hasty self on the nightmare half. That was only natural since she didn't want to admit that she jumped the gun.

'But taking care of her tails and other parts of the body, huh...' Aiko nodded gently. She would increase her storage by this and it would help her with other things too. This was overall a good thing to have~! She just... needed to pick the right books without getting flustered.

'Divine Coffee Beans, huh...?' Aiko browsed her [Tails Storage] and sure enough she was able to bring a small bag that contained both Beans and usable seeds.

Since she didn't have her own place and couldn't plant them yet, she put them back into her tails.

She sniffed the Divine Coffee Beans. The smell stuck to her nose, but it was not a bad smell.

'Maybe before fights, I could take a sip? That would ensure that the Nightmare Aiko had plenty of energy?' Aiko pondered on it, but she couldn't see any kind of demerit about this, so it should be fine to give Nightmare Aiko.

Aiko placed it back into her Tails before looking over the note again.

'Oils are a good thing, they will be useful later on. As for intimate acts.' The red Moon Aiko coughed awkwardly. 'That will wait.' She nodded repeatedly.

'I will first gather enough energy before going through the books otherwise Nightmare Aiko might pounce on Mei and disturb her Cultivation.' Aiko gently sighed.

Outside the cave, the Blood Fox with the Twins camped and guarded it, just in case someone tried to sneak inside.

They were somewhat entertained, due to Aiko's injuries and what she gathered from this journey.

"We have too many Treasures." Yuxi complained.

"We can always sell them." Wanshu nudged Yuxi. "Or try to recycle them."

"Most Forging Cultivators don't know how to recycle, so I would give up on that idea." The Blood Fox shook her head. "We also can't sell it, since we are not allowed to enter auctions." She pointed out the main issue.

"That is true, but it's not like we can't use our Illusions, once we learn them, to get inside." Wanshu narrowed her eyes.

"That is a fair assumption, but don't you think that since there are so many Treasures, there defenses include methods that dispel Illusions?" The Blood Fox said gently.

Wanshu paused, since she didn't expect this kind of question.

Yuxi butted in. "What if the Mistress came up with something?"

The Blood Fox shook her head. "It's unlikely that she would be able to take us with her and communication talismans do not work inside, she would have to leave the place for every decision, but pay for every time she goes in." She dismissed that idea.

"Who is that?" Wanshu suddenly spoke into the forest.

"My apologies for disturbing you." A familiar girl appeared from the forest. "Would it be possible to cultivate inside, or is it taken by you?" She asked them.

"It's the dice girl." The Blood Fox giggled.

"Dice girl?" Bai Jing tilted her head.

"That's what Vicious Cub calls you." The Blood Fox chuckled, seeing her expression.

"Oh, how is she?" Bai Jing was interested in how she was doing.

"She is better, although injured, you can enter, just don't touch anything you shouldn't and anger Jade Fox or Vicious Cub." The Blood Fox warned the duo.

"I will be going inside alone and keep your wisdom in mind." Bai Jing bowed gently as a thank-you.

"Why am I not going in?!" The familiar male Cultivator yelped.

"You can't keep your hands to yourself." Bai Jing said blankly before she walked inside.

"I was dumped..." He cried out before sitting next to the fire. He was being observed by everyone while he munched on some orange peels.

Bai Jing entered the cold cave. Even with her Pills, she was unable to block all of that coldness.

She wouldn't be able to Cultivate for long, but she would be able to suppress the state of her body and advance slightly.

The more she advanced, the less backlash there would be from the side effects of her Divination.

She spotted two unfamiliar, yet familiar females.

One was a beautiful girl who reminded her of the Jade Fox, while the other had that otherworldly beauty that could only be found in the now ruined Kingdom.

Some way away there was a lot of Ghost Qi with female Fox, but the size was strange.

Rolling her dice, her eyes widened. She didn't believe that Vicious Fox had progressed so much in such a short time.

She did know that the 'disaster' was caused by involving outside forces and that the centrepiece was the Vicious Cub, but she didn't think the scale was THAT big.

Bai Jing sat down near the pond like the two beautiful girls did and meditated.

She already felt the Vicious Cub's eyes on her, but she also knew that there was no danger from her.

Bai Jing blinked a few times, since she felt a bit better and certain Fox's eyes were staring back at her.

"This brings back memories." Bai Jing said gently.

"Does it?" Aiko tilted her head. She saw this girl enter, but she had quite a murky memory now that she was working so much.

The girl showed her dice and Aiko immediately knew.

"Ah! You are the dice girl. Thank you for helping me." Aiko giggled while lying down next to Bai Jing.

Bai Jing's lips twitched. If this Fox was not so beautiful she would already scold her for naming people however she wished.

Bai Jing suppressed her emotions, so that she wouldn't get caught up in her storm that even without her dice she was certain the not-so-little Fox was brewing.

"So, what are you doing here?" Aiko asked her.

"Healing myself." Bai Jing said gently.

"I can see that, but you won't be able to heal with that Fiend Ghost attached to you." Aiko said.

She could see that large Black Ghost attached to her. It was trying to hurt her Soul, but surprisingly. Her Soul was quite sturdy.

'It's quite fascinating.' Aiko narrowed her eyes. She wanted to figure out if she could taste that Black Ghost...
