Chapter 359 – Eating and ‘Eating’

Looking at the Black Ghost Aiko licked her lips. It was strange that the Black Ghost looked tasty.

"You won't be able to eat hi-" Bai Jing was talking just when Aiko munched at it.

*Munch*

"Hm..." Aiko munched the Black Ghost a few times, just to make sure she really tried, but...

"It's tasteless." Aiko frowned. She munched again just to make sure the Black Ghost was really as disgusting as she imagined.

"It's seriously tasteless..." Aiko whined and Bai Jing was blinking dumbly.

Bai Jing felt much lighter than before and that was even before she started cultivating!

Aiko munched on the last pieces of the Black Ghost as Bai Jing was confused.

"Are you alright?" Bai Jing scrunched her face. This was not supposed to happen!

When it comes to Divination, each one has its own drawbacks, with the cost changing depending on what you Divine.

She once divined about a dead person, so her master told her that a Vengeful Ghost was attached to her and was eating at her Vitality.

The problem with that Black Ghost was the fact that if someone tried to defeat it, it would rip her Soul out.

But nothing like that happened right now. It felt like the whole thing was just a dream. A very bad dream, mind you!

"I'm hungry." Aiko was upset that she didn't get any Soul Points from this thing, so much so that she was starving for a piece of meat.

"They are grilling outside." Bai Jing said gently.

"Can't go outside, they need to be protected." Aiko looked away, pointing at the other two women. She was guilty of this mess, so she had to clean it up properly.

"I will get you something." Bai Jing felt grateful and was also concerned about her. Her teacher had never been wrong before, but she always spoke about Humans.

Does that mean that Foxes are immune or can do more? Then why does everyone hate them?

They might be promiscuous, but the Heavenly Wind Sect is so much worse! Foxes at least have decency when it comes to wearing clothes.

And let's not talk about the Cherry River Sect. Those guys are pretty much escorts!

Bai Jing felt confused, but she would not pry on this matter. A bit of Divination should be able to tell her, but things would likely be more complex than what she would like.

It was a good thing that she met this 'innocent' group of Foxes. She didn't have to worry about being pounced, even more so since everyone would pretty much ignore her.

She was not as pretty as other female Cultivators and she also didn't deal with Pills or Talismans, so she was pretty much at the bottom of the pouncing pile.

Aiko scrunched her face as Bai Jing left.

"Blech." Aiko made a strange sound as she spat out the Black Ghost.

It tried to wiggle away and reattach itself to Bai Ling, but Aiko wouldn't let it.

"Who told you that you can leave, asshole." Aiko was cracking her knuckles. This Ghost's taste was disgusting.

She picked up the Lamp and the Black Ghost screamed.

"In you go, you bastard! Deal with it, Sister Ghost." Aiko commanded.

"Of course, Mistress." Lady Liu's sister popped out and dragged that Ghost inside. "I will teach him properly." She could go outside and inside again, now that Aiko tinkered with the Inscription.

She also took the chance to drag the sleeping Ghost from the special wood, so Aiko could use it for crafting.

Aiko nodded gently a few times. She was happy about this and she would definitely use that Ghost for her new 'tools'.

"They also gave me soup, so I'm bringing it over." Bai Jing said from the entrance of the large cave.

"Sure." Aiko hummed as she hid the Lamp inside her [Tails Storage]. She would deal with it later.

Bai Jing came close to Aiko and blinked. "Are you really alright? Nothing hurts or anything?"

"I'm fiiine." Aiko waved her away like she was not concerned at all.

This warmed Bai Jing's heart and she smiled gently.

"Eat it quickly before it cools down." Bai Jing smiled. She was protecting it with her Qi, but it was still difficult since the cave was natural in the Ice Qi.

"En." Aiko nodded as she munched on everything. She needed to cleanse her taste buds from the god-awful-tasting Black Ghost.

'Just you wait! I will prepare an extra large pole for you!' Aiko glared at her tails to make her points.

"Should I help you?" Bai Jing already had a brush in her hand. She was looking forward to caressing a Fox's tail, since they were said to be the softest in the Beast Kingdom.

Aiko blinked a few times. "Where did you get that?" Aiko didn't see any Storage Rings or Storage Pouches on her body.

"I have a Storage Band here." Bai Jing caressed her slender hand and Storage Band rolled from under her sleeve.

"Ohhhhhhhhhhhh." Aiko was amused by this. "Show me and I will let you do your thing." She narrowed her eyes.

"But Master told me not to give it to anyone." Bai Jing shook her head.

"I don't want it. I just want to see if the Inscription is the same as it was used on the Storage Rings or different." Aiko pondered on it, but she would have to get a close look to properly study it.

"I'm sorry. I really can't." Bai Jing shook her head.

"Got it." Aiko nodded. 'I will just kidnap you later, since Mei said that Divinators are the most important in the Immortal World.

"You look like you are planning to steal something..." Bai Jing looked at the not-so-little Fox suspiciously.

"You have nothing to worry about." Aiko smiled 'innocently'.

"You won't hurt me, right?" Bai Jing got all defensive.

"Why would I hurt you? At worst, I will kidnap- Ah, shit." Aiko coughed, embarrassed at her blunder.

"Kidnap me?" Bai Jing tilted her head.

"Kidnap? Who?" Aiko played dum-dum.

"You said you would kidnap me." Bai Jing would not let this go.

"No, who did? Me." Aiko snipped her ears innocently, but Bai Jing found it amusing.

"Yeah." Bai Jing nodded.

'Why aren't you letting it go?!' Aiko asked with her eyes.

'Because you are too cute like this.' Bai Jing answered back with her eyes.

Aiko pouted. "Nobody is kidnapping anyone, yet."

"Yet." Bai Jing nodded.

"Gosh, give it a rest, will you?" Aiko rolled her eyes and pouted even more.

"But what if I have a loving Master waiting for me?" Bai Jing tilted her head.

"In that case, you would not have injuries from Divine Sense." Aiko rolled her eyes again. She is her prey, so she would naturally take her later.

Bai Jing was shocked that she noticed. No other Elder noticed nor even attempted to help her!

"How did you find out?" Bai Jing was more curious about this Foxy.

"You would have to be blind to not notice." Aiko shook her head.

Just then she heard someone stretch herself across the cave.

"Morning M-" *Cough* "Jade Fox." Aiko smiled innocently when she saw a sharp gaze coming from Mei.

"Another prey of yours?" Mei asked. "Hello, Dice Girl."

"Please call me Bai Jing." Bai Jing blushed at being called like that by someone so beautiful.

"Very well." Mei nodded gently.

"No?" Aiko said innocently.

"What do you mean no?" Mei rolled her eyes. "It's pretty much written on your face that you want to do something to her." She shook her head, warning Aiko with her eyes.

It seemed like Mei was awful at 'eye-to-eye' communication, so Aiko gave up for the time being.

"That's for later." Aiko pouted. 'Get the hint! I want to study that Black Ghost and we also need a Divinator!'

"Then keep it to yourself. She might run away." Mei touched Aiko's forehead.

"You think you can bully me?" Aiko pouted at Mei. "Just you wait! 'Aiko special pounce attack'!" She pounced at Mei, who was not expecting it.

"Not now Aiko!" Mei giggled from the ticklish sensation, but she was more embarrassed than happy about this situation.

"You shouldn't have bullied me!" Aiko proclaimed as she nuzzled Mei's bosom.

"Stop it~!" Mei giggled again as she squirmed away from Aiko.

"Hello." Just then, Bai Jing wanted to introduce herself to the other girl, but... 'Why does she have a nosebleed?' She tilted her head.

Feifei noticed a gaze on her and coughed awkwardly. She quickly wiped out that nosebleed and turned around towards the unknown girl.

"Hello, I'm Feifei." Feifei cupped her hands and a drop of blood was still left on them.

Bai Jing found this whole group odd, but returned the greeting. "Bai Jing."

"Nice." Feifei nodded and gave her thumbs up. "You are cute too."

Bai Jing choked at this straightforward girl. Was the abusive Princess really this kind and happy?

Of course, those were just the rumours, but rumours don't come from nothing. Could that Princess change so much just by being around this group of strange individuals?

Bai Jing shook her head. "Your nose is bleeding again." She sighed.

"Shoot." Feifei wiped her nose again, but the stimulation in front of her was too much. 'Maybe I should learn to paint and paint this so that I can indulge in this greatness later?' She narrowed her eyes. This kind of idea was not all that bad!

Bai Jing was taken aback by her plotting expression. "Is everyone weird in this group...?" So much so that she accidentally leaked her inner thoughts...

"More or less." Aiko coughed awkwardly.

"So we are weird." Mei booped Aiko's small nose as revenge.

Aiko tried to bite that finger out of spite, but Mei dodged.

"Stop dodging!" Aiko didn't want to hurt Mei, but if she kept dodging like that something might happen.

"No." Mei laughed, but she did that too soon.

*Nibble*

"Kyaa-!" Mei was speechless that Aiko would do something so shameless.

"Y-you-!" Mei pointed at Aiko.

"Tasty cherries." Aiko licked her lips.

Mei turned completely red. "Out! And you two too!" She was even more speechless when she saw the duo munching on some nuts, watching them closely.

Bai Jing and Feifei scurried away out of the cave and Aiko waited for a bit. She was readying herself to pounce at Mei!

Suddenly, Mei was wrapped in ancient Runes and her body was quickly changing.

"Uh-oh-" Aiko had a bad feeling about this...
