Chapter 430 One left, a thousand came. (End)
Mykel was sitting in the park with Lyneth, and they both enjoyed their moment together after the revelation about Lyneth. There was nobody in the park, only the two of them and there were no buildings around the park, only nature and animals that existed around them.
Lyneth suddenly laid down on Mykel's lap and grabbed Mykel's hand and put it around her neck. They hadn't said anything, just enjoying the view until suddenly Elena came with Amaryllis and the others. They knew what had happened to Elena, and they came to solve the problem, and Lyneth already knew that they would come for that.
"Lyn, why did you hide it from us?" Amaryllis asked.
"Because it's my choice," Lyneth answered and didn't bother to sit down. "You wouldn't understand and you won't be able to understand," she added.
The moment Lyneth said that it was her choice and what she decided, nobody dared to ask why. The reason was that Mykel didn't seem to be bothered by her decision and respected it. Seeing how those two were having a quality time, they felt like they were disturbing their quality time together.
"But what would happen to you once you're gone? What would happen to us?" Amaryllis furrowed her eyebrows.
Lyneth closed her eyes as the cold breeze hit her cold body which had slowly lost her strength. She didn't want to be bothered by it, but she knew she needed to explain her situation to them. Mykel suddenly removed his suit and covered her lower body with it so she could feel warm.
"What will happen to me?" Lyneth raised her eyebrows as she stared blankly at the trees. "Fulfilling my role as the one who controls all realms. My physical body will disappear. Not only my body but my consciousness and everything else because I'll become one with the realms that exist and any other realms that you'll create in the future," she added.
Sasha and Amaryllis looked at each other and then looked at Elena because that was what happened to her back then. But the difference was that Elena didn't lose her body or her consciousness.
"You're here to fix it, don't you? You're trying to save me," Lyneth looked at Amaryllis. "I would be amazed that if you can do it, but even if you could do it, I won't let you," she pointed out.
Everyone looked so confused by the fact that Lyneth didn't want to be saved.
"Why?" Jeanne asked. "Don't you want to stay here with us? With Mykel?" She added.
"I can't choose between staying with Mykel or saving all of you. If you fix this, all of you will cease to exist because there won't be anything or anyone to lift your existence. Let's say you want to save water, do you think you can do it without a container, a vessel, or any surface to keep it? You will need them, and those things are me, my existence. It has been done, and soon my existence is the platform for you to exist," Lyneth explained as she looked at every one of them.
"But again, I'm not trying to stop you from finding the solution. You can try everything, but I believe this isn't something you will be able to comprehend. I want you to know that it's because I want all of you to live," Lyneth said in a calm voice. "Right now, I just want to have the time that I have left with Mykel, and hopefully Elena will spend the remaining time that I have left as well," she looked at Elena who had been avoiding her gaze.
Everyone respected Lyneth's choice and left her alone, and they looked at Elena to let Lyneth get her wish to spend her time with her family. They left, leaving Mykel, Lyneth, and Elena alone in the park where the silence became a heavy pressure for Elena.
"Are you just going to stand there and keep avoiding me?" Lyneth asked as she slowly sat up with Mykel's help. "I understand your anger and I can feel it too, you know? But I don't want you to regret not spending the time with me when you have the chance to do that," she frowned as she looked at Elena with sadness in her eyes.
Elena looked at Lyneth's face and she felt sad and guilty, so she slowly walked to the bench and sat next to her. She felt awkward, but Lyneth's embrace and how Lyneth kissed her cheek made her guilt disappear. She then was forced to lay down on Lyneth's lap so Lyneth could caress her hair and take care of her.
"What a rebellious daughter you are," Lyneth pinched Elena's nose and gently pulled it and shook it as she chuckled. "But you're still my daughter, my one and only daughter that I love with all my heart," she continued and gently caressed Elena's cheek.

Elena didn't say anything and let Lyneth do whatever she wanted to do to her. She didn't hate it, but her sadness couldn't stop her from thinking about the time that Lyneth had left. She was scared and sad that her mother would leave her and disappear forever.
Time flew by so quickly and Lyneth was in her bed, with her pale skin that no longer had any strength inside. She was caressed by Mykel, stroking her hair as she enjoyed the breeze and the sound of birds chirping outside. She knew the time she had left was less than a day, but she was satisfied with the short life she had.
"Mom," Elena said quietly as she sat on the bed and held Lyneth's hand. "How are you feeling today?" She asked as she hid the pain in her heart.
Lyneth smiled weakly as she reached out her arms at Elena, wanting to have a hug. When they both hugged, Elena felt the coldness of Lyneth's body and how her heart beat so slowly. No matter how much life energy that Elena gave to Lyneth, it would immediately get sucked up and did nothing.
"There's something I want to tell you," Lyneth whispered. "I know how painful it is for you, and it's painful for me too to leave you. I might be gone, but our bond will last forever. No matter where you are, I'm always there beside you, and I will do anything to show how much I love you," she continued as she hugged Elena tightly.
"What if I missed you?" Elena asked as she held back her tears.
"We will see each other in your dream. I promise I will be there," Lyneth answered as she comforted Elena. "Now, can I have a moment alone with your father?" she asked.
Elena nodded and then left the room hurriedly because she couldn't hold her tears anymore. Mykel had been silently staying by Lyneth's side, and he barely talked because he had been hiding his emotions for years.
"You know that I can feel your emotions, right? You don't have to hide it anymore," Lyneth smiled at Mykel.
"I would rather fall to the depth of hell, rather than have you to see me breaking down. So look at me, not my heart," Mykel responded with a gentle smile. "I don't want you to have any regrets by looking at my emotions and feelings," he added.
"Thank you," Lyneth smiled and she looked genuinely happy. "I remember when we first met, and it's kind of embarrassing that I was acting like that," she said. "I never thought I would be a part of your journey. A journey that everyone would be so envious to have," she chuckled weakly.
When they both were reminiscing about the past, Lyneth stopped talking and looked at the ceiling. They both knew that time had come and at any moment, Lyneth would disappear.
"There's one thing that I haven't told you," Lyneth looked at Mykel and put her left hand on his cheek. "Thank you, for creating me," she smiled.
"I'm glad that I chose you," Mykel responded and kissed Lyneth's forehead. "You can rest now," he whispered.
Lyneth closed her eyes and her body turned invisible until she no longer existed. Mykel sat there, thinking that he hadn't said all the things he wanted to say to her. But then he felt a warm breeze around his neck and his back. It felt like someone was hugging him, but when he turned around there was nobody there.
"Was that your last goodbye?" Mykel asked as he stood up. "I love you too," he said and then left the room to tell Elena that Lyneth had gone to a better place.
There was no burial or any memorial ceremony for Lyneth and everyone lived their lives in the Empyrean World. Everyone lived a normal life, but something was amiss even though they were having a peaceful life.
"Seeing you lazing on the bed is something new," Hera looked at Mykel lying on the bed staring at the ceiling. "Are you hungry?" She asked as she sat on the bed.
"What's for breakfast?" Mykel raised his eyebrows.
"Me?" Hera raised her eyebrows with a flirtatious smile as she leaned toward Mykel and then kissed Mykel.
When they were about to have some fun, they felt a heavy pressure pushing them down for a moment. They both looked at each other and then hurriedly left the cabin to check what it was. They weren't the only ones who felt that everyone felt it and had no idea what was happening.
"Amy, what's going on?" Elena looked at Amaryllis.
"New realms just born, and they're connected with ours," Amaryllis answered. "I don't know who did it, but something isn't right," she looked worried and didn't know how it all happened at once.
"It's Lyn," Mykel answered. "She wants us to have some fun," he added and looked at Lyneth who was floating beside him.
"I just don't want you guys to have a boring life," Lyneth looked at Mykel with a beautiful smile on her face. "I hope you can have some fun," she added and then disappeared.
"So?" Aurea raised her eyebrows as she looked at Mykel.
"There will be existences that will come to find us and try to kill us," Mykel answered. "Are you guys down for it?" He raised his eyebrows and looked at everyone.
"It's been a while, but let's see what kind of gift Lyneth has prepared for us," Jeanne said as she pulled out her sword from thin air. "I think having challengers once in a while isn't that bad," she added.
"You're goddamn right," Aurea responded. "I didn't even have the chance to use my power back then while fighting Aevia. I guess I can go all out once," she chuckled mischievously.
"Looks like everyone is down. Let's have a look at those beings, shall we?" Mykel asked.
What do you think?
