"Ugh!" One of them, who was closest to the beasts, groaned as he got slightly injured. An ice statue had exploded at point-blank range, grazing him with a few shards, and his robe was now stained with blood.

They looked down in shock, their eyes widening as they saw that all the beasts surrounding the women had been turned into ice statues.

Within moments, the hundreds of frozen beasts shattered into countless ice fragments.

'Thank the heavens I didn't mess with them... or else…' The man who had been the most eager to gain the beauties' attention shuddered, cold sweat dripping down his back. But just as he was calming himself, he heard something that almost made him fall out of the sky.

"Brother, look! So many beast cores! Let's rob them!" one of the men said greedily, his eyes flashing as he spotted the hundreds of cores scattered across the ground. Even though they weren't real, they could still be sold to others for real-world money. These cores could be exchanged for expensive artificial weapons, and he was sure many players would be willing to buy them—especially those who cared about ranking in the artificial world.

After all, in sects and families, rankings determined the allocation of resources because it shows their potential in combat, and most of them in the ranking can become elites. Those with higher rankings were given better cultivation materials.

"Are you crazy?! Let's get out of here! Can't you sense that woman's cultivation is increasing rapidly?" another man warned, his face paling as he noticed Bai Lingxi's aura surging. She was absorbing the artificial spiritual energy at an alarming rate, her cultivation rising before their eyes.

Without another word, he bolted.

The others, realizing the same thing, also turned tail and fled, cold sweat dripping down their backs.

"Sister Lingxi, do something!" Luo Li, the 'weakest' among the girls, spoke up as she hid behind Bai Lingxi. She watched in fear as the ferocious beasts charged toward them, their saliva dripping onto the ground and burning everything it touched.

"Why the hell are you hiding behind me? You do realize they're coming from all directions, right?" Bai Lingxi teased.

"Shit!" Luo Li turned around and cursed when she saw more beasts approaching from behind.

"Don't even think about it," Bai Lingxi warned, cutting off Shi Yu, who was about to use her illusion again. "If I wanted your help, I would have told you to release your illusion."@@novelbin@@

Shi Yu hesitated but ultimately stopped her actions, trusting Bai Lingxi's confidence.

"Then do something quickly!" Shi Yu urged as the distance between them and the monsters narrowed significantly. She even noticed a few of the beasts entangling some of the spectators in the air.

"I was going to if you guys hadn't started talking," Bai Lingxi replied as she raised her hand.

In the next second, ice began to spread rapidly from her direction, avoiding Luo Li and Shi Yu while freezing everything on the ground—including the beasts that had been charging toward them.

The beasts that had been charging sensed the danger, but before they could retreat, ice began to appear on their bodies. Some of them attempted to ignite their bodies with fire using their bloodline skills, but to no avail—the flames froze instantly. Within seconds, all the beasts had been transformed into ice sculptures.

"Shatter," Bai Lingxi gracefully raised her arms and muttered in a cold voice.

As soon as the word left her mouth, under the wide-eyed gazes of the girls, cracks started to appear on the frozen bodies of the beasts.

The beasts, though frozen, were still conscious. Their instincts screamed at them to break free or face certain death. Out of desperation, they burned their life force in an attempt to shatter the ice. A faint glow flickered within the frozen sculptures, but it was futile—they remained trapped, unable to break free.

One by one, the ice statues began to explode into tiny fragments, scattering ice and blood across the ground.
