"Isn't this a bit exaggerated?" Luo Li muttered in a low voice. There was no way in hell even the Core Disciples would be able to kill so many beasts this easily with such a low cultivation. Bai Lingxi had even taken down Foundation Realm beasts while starting at the lowest cultivation level.

'Her bloodline and physique are a bit too overpowered...' Shi Yu's eyebrow twitched. Sure, she had used mind control to gather the beasts here, but only she knew the toll it took on her. Even with her Physique Powers, she could have made a few dozen beasts tear each other apart through mind control, but no way in hell could she have done the same with hundreds—especially at such a low cultivation level. At best, she could have held control over them for a few minutes.

"Congratulations, Sister Lingxi! You're the first one to reach the Foundation Realm!" Luo Li said with admiration. She was convinced that Bai Lingxi was the only one who could compete with Wang Ming.

Bai Lingxi glanced up at them and rolled her eyes. The next words that left her mouth made both of them choke on their saliva.

"Hurry up! What are you waiting for? Shi Yu, use your powers to summon hundreds more beasts. Then you and Luo Li can divide them and kill them like I did," Bai Lingxi said impatiently, her eyes gleaming as they fell on the beast cores.

"What?!" Shi Yu exclaimed, coughing violently as she looked at Bai Lingxi in disbelief. Luo Li had the same incredulous expression.

"What are you standing around for? Hurry up!" Bai Lingxi frowned at their hesitation.

"Huff... Sister Lingxi, do you really think the two of us are as monstrously strong as you? If I summon the same number of beasts as I did for you, there's no way in hell we'd be able to defeat them!" Shi Yu protested.

Luo Li, standing to the side, nodded vigorously in agreement.

"Hmm, don't be cowards. Didn't you girls always shout that you wanted to surpass Wang Ming and even set me as your target? How can you be nervous over such a small challenge? Besides, I believe in you," Bai Lingxi said in a serious tone, causing them to almost cough up blood.

"Why don't I remember that we ever said we wanted to surpass you?" Luo Li said, her lips twitching.

"Sister Lingxi, you must be joking. We never said we wanted to surpass you or Wang Ming," Luo Li added, and Shi Yu nodded her head rapidly in agreement. Surpass Wang Ming? What a joke! They weren't even confident they could surpass Bai Lingxi in their lifetime unless they somehow gained a formidable bloodline like hers.

'Damn, why are they so weak? I can't let them slow me down or let Wang Ming get ahead,' Bai Lingxi thought to herself.

"Don't be shy. I won't mind. Besides, I believe in you," Bai Lingxi insisted with a serious expression.

'Shy? Who's shy? Believe? Believe your head! When did we ever say we wanted to surpass you and Wang Ming?!' Shi Yu and Luo Li cursed inwardly.

"So, you won't use your illusion to summon the beasts?" Bai Lingxi asked with a sigh.

"Nope," Shi Yu replied without hesitation.

"Tsk, no wonder you're weak," Bai Lingxi clicked her tongue, looking at them with disdain, which made veins bulge on their foreheads.

"Forget it. Let's just collect the cores," Bai Lingxi said, waving her hand. An ice tornado formed, sucking up all the beast cores. After a while, as the tornado dissipated, a pile of cores was left behind.

"Eh? Why is the pile so small?" Bai Lingxi murmured, frowning.

"I think you destroyed them. Sister Lingxi, you're an idiot," Shi Yu said with a teasing smile, pointing at the shattered pieces of beast cores that had been crushed in the tornado.

Bai Lingxi's face turned slightly red with embarrassment. She shot them a glare, but then, as an idea popped into her head, her lips curled into a devious smile.

When Luo Li and Shi Yu saw that smile, they were instantly filled with unease.

"Sister Lingxi, why are you smiling like that?" Shi Yu asked cautiously.

"Ice Manipulation and Maker – Thousand Ice Spear Raid," Bai Lingxi said as thousands of ice spears formed in the sky. With a wave of her hand, they shot toward different locations.

"What are you trying to do?" Luo Li asked in confusion, which made Bai Lingxi smirk.

"I'm trying to instill confidence in you and help you raise your cultivation," Bai Lingxi said in a nonchalant voice before ice wings appeared on her back, and she flew into the sky.

Roar!

"Shit!"

'This bitch...' Luo Li and Shi Yu cursed inwardly as they realized what she had done. The ice spears hadn't been thrown randomly—they had landed directly in the territories of the beasts. The ground beneath them trembled.

"Damn, Sister Lingxi, are you trying to kill us?!" Shi Yu shouted as she saw hundreds of beasts charging at them—only to freeze moments later.

"Hurry up and kill them. They won't be able to move," Bai Lingxi said casually as she watched from above.

Shi Yu and Luo Li blankly stared at her.

'Damn, she's petty. She did this just to mess with us because I called her an idiot,' Shi Yu thought, shaking her head. Still, as her eyes narrowed on the frozen beasts, she knew at least this would help her increase her cultivation quickly.
