Chapter 343 Blood brothers Part 3

"Sam, you may not believe me now, but I wouldn't have been able to get this far if all of this was made up. All the dungeons are connected somehow, I know it now.

I don't have all the fact's yet, but I'm certain that the Alamo dungeon was made to contain the most dangerous evil known to men or any past species that lived on earth," Uriel pointed his gun to Sam's wife who was crying on the ground right besides her dying husband and pulled the trigger, though the bullet bounced off of her like a rubber ball.

"She has divine protection which confirms she's an angel, or at least the closest descendant there is. You see, in the tale depicted on the walls humans are the short eared people and angels are the long eared people, they met on peaceful terms and everything was fine for centuries, but the problem began when a man called Hotu Matua, the first human king, fell in love with an angel.

For many years they tried to have offspring, but it was impossible. Both races joined efforts to create this laboratory for the sole purpose of creating an heir, but when the first volunteers became pregnant something terrible happened and they dropped this project.

"It's not a coincidence that the Aku Aku were released as soon as the Air spirit people entered the dungeon or that they kidnapped people and brought them to the dungeon's entrance. The Aku Aku don't kill people, because they don't mean any harm to humans, they just need humans to stop her from giving birth to an abomination.

They are the last security measure, created with the hopes of bringing humans together to stop this evil from being born." Uriel then picked up the egg and unceremoniously broke it right in front of the helpless Sam and the harmless Air Spirit people.

Doing something so cruel would have been impossible for Uriel if not for his emotions being swapped with Water warlock's, but as cruel as it may have seemed he knew it was absolutely necessary.

By that point Sam's breathing had become jagged and he could barely remain conscious anymore. An insurmountable anger erupted as he saw all of his dreams and hopes disappearing in front of his eyes. Even if what Uriel was saying was the truth he was unwilling to accept it.

She was the incarnation of happiness in his life and having a child with her couldn't possibly be wrong, that's why, even when he was potentially living his last moments, Sam didn't take his eyes out of Uriel waiting for an opportunity to attack. Even if all he could do now was bite, he was unwilling to die without fighting to his literal last breath.

It was when Uriel drew near him to treat his wounds that such an opportunity presented itself, though not as Sam expected. With his eyes still gleaming in yellow, Sam glared deep into Uriel's eyes and somehow he was able to see 'him'.

"Help me, help me and I'll do whatever you ask of me."

Sam's eyes pierced through Uriel's body and into the ethereal world he called 'Mystical realm' where he saw the creature that dwelled within his body. It was his first time seeing him and a cosmic terror coursed through his every cell.

The only reason why he wasn't stunned in place was that he thought he was dead already and had nothing to fear, though he didn't know how wrong he was because even death was a relative concept when it came to Water warlock.

"Who are you speaking to?" Uriel asked with a questioning look, though his consciousness faded before her could continue because, unbeknownst to Uriel, relying too much on Water warlock's power caused his body to fall under his control.

A deep voice came from within Uriel, though he clearly wasn't speaking. He was just standing in place, his eyes shimmering in bright cyan. Water warlock then proceeded to heal Sam just enough so he could speak clearly, but nothing to ease his pain.

"Do you know who I am? Do you even know what is it I want?"

"Yes, you're the one who's been helping that useless idiot. You helped that worthless evolved become stronger than a heavenly rank, that's all I care about."

"And you're willing to sacrifice your whole existence, just to become stronger?"

"I... no, I'm not. But I'll help you achieve whatever it is you want."

"Even if it means the death of the human race?"

"Especially if it means the death of the human race. I don't care anymore, I want them all dead. If I can't be happy, then no one can be. Listen, I don't know what kind of deal you have with that guy, but my body is stronger and my trait more powerful than his. The only reason why he was able to defeat me was because he abused your power."

"Hmm.... You too are far from being the strongest warrior, but your words speak the truth. I will lend you my power, but you will obey my commands or I'll burn your soul. Those are my terms."

"Yes." Sam let out with the last of his strength and a cyan liquid oozed its way towards him, completing the healing of his wounds on the spot. All the bullet wounds, even the bruises, disappeared in an instant and Sam's eyes shifted from yellow to a bright cyan.

The sea became enraged and the waves crushed onto the rock formation and Sam was born again. His skin became as smooth as silk and he became even more handsome than before, his facial features somehow became more mature and there was a solemn look to him that demanded respect.

He also became more powerful than he could have ever dreamed of, but for every bit of power Sam gained, Uriel lost the same amount until there was nothing left of Water warlock on his body.

"Saaaaaaaaaaaam!" Uriel shouted after coming back to his senses, but Sam was already flying away leaving him stranded in the middle of a dungeon, surrounded by nothing but a stormy sea.
