Chapter 259 Introduce Yourself
Both Akun and the dragon princess wasted no time; both instantly activated their dragon eyes, seeking to understand the nature of the being before them and to comprehend each other's true essence. Their eyes shone slightly.
For some reason, the dragon princess found herself unable to gaze at Akun's status window. Inwardly, she mused in confusion, "What's going on? Why can't I look into his status window? Every column is filled with question marks."
Meanwhile, on Akun's end, he was able to properly gaze at the princess's status window, and what he saw left him momentarily frozen.

While Akun was looking through the princess's status window, he mused, "She's a dragon? How? According to the memories I received from the black dragon, they were all wiped out by the gods thousands of years ago. So how is one alive now standing in front of me? Even if she somehow survived, where has she been all this time? Dragons are a very proud race, as I can remember.
I doubt she would have simply kept to herself if she was hiding somewhere. Besides, I had the guardians and the tribes thoroughly mapout the entirety of Arcadia. I know the place like the back of my hand, so there is no way she could have hidden where I wouldn't have found suspecious."
As he continued to look at her status window, his eyes fell on the section detailing her unique skills and the god she had contracted. He mused further, "Is it possible she traveled through time? That would be a logical explanation. And that resonance the system spoke about, maybe she was the one who sent it out."
As the pieces of the puzzle slowly came together, Akun simply let out a sigh. He then muttered, "I'll handle this inside the throne room." Turning to the guards, he didn't need to utter a word. They opened the doors to the throne room and allowed their liege to step inside. Mellin and Kaldarix followed behind him, their gazes collectively lingering on Genreia before they continued inside.
As they stepped into the grandeur of the throne room, Gedion turned to face Genreia. "Prepare yourself. You are going to be punished for what you did. My liege doesn't take kindly to people who set back his plans." With that, Gedion turned and continued into the throne room.
Inwardly, Genreia mused, "Those people who followed behind the dragon god earlier... They were both dragon monarchs: the ruler of the gold dragon tribe and all dragons, Lord Kaldarix, and the ruler of the frost dragon tribe, Miss Mellin. Why are they following that man? Who is he?" Sweat formed on her face, slowly streaming down the side of her cheek.
Genreia, with a mixture of curiosity and fear, slowly stepped into the throne room. The grandeur of the ant city's heart left her utterly dumfounded.
Sculptures, each telling a story of triumph and sagas long past, could be found on the walls, their complex details capturing the essence of the ant kingdom's rich history, Wich was in reality inspired by the sculptures from the gladiator knights, but the princess didn't posess any knowledge of this. The red carpet beneath her feet guided her gaze toward the focal point of the room.
Suspended above, a golden chandelier cast a warm glow, brightening up the grand chamber with a soft welcoming light. Every detail seemed to speak of a civilization that embraced artistry and elegance. The air itself carried a sense of significance, magnified by the majestic scene unfolding.
As her eyes ascended the collection of stairs leading to the throne, Genreia's breath caught. Akun sat regally upon his elevated seat, a symbol of authority and wisdom. The throne room echoed with a silent reverence that transcended its physical beauty.
Genreia couldn't help but muse, "This is all amazing." Her gaze momentarily lingered on the sculptures, tracing the lines of history etched into their forms. The red carpet beneath her feet felt like a path to destiny, leading her toward the heart of the ant tribe's governance.
Her attention then shifted to Gideon, who knelt before the throne. A fleeting sense of uncertainty crossed her mind. "Do I have to kneel before him too?" she mused inwardly, her eyes briefly meeting Gideon's as she wrestled with the unspoken customs of the room.
Akun, a figure of regal composure, held court upon his throne. Mellin and Kaldarix stood by his side, their presence adding to the seriousness of the moment. The atmosphere hummed with a blend of anticipation and unspoken protocol. Genreia found herself caught in the complex ways of traditions, her every step echoing within the magnificent throne room.
Genreia, caught in the crosscurrents of tradition and her own sense of pride, took steps toward the throne. She chose to stop where Gideon knelt, choosing to stand on her own terms. A collective hush fell over the room as the gravity of her decision hung in the air. Serious gazes from Akun, Mellin, Kaldarix and Gedion were like a weight of unspoken expectations.
With a desire to maintain her royal appearance, Genreia hesitated to kneel. The weight of everyone's eyes, however, became a suffocating force, pressing upon her like the heavy air before a storm. In a swift motion to the unspoken rules, she gracefully lowered herself to her knees. The room seemed to exhale, accepting the silent compromise.
While positioned humbly on her knees, Akun's voice echowed through the grand chamber. "I honestly don't know how a dragon is alive, but I think I have a vague idea. Although I already know your name, I want you to introduced yourself. Who are you, and what are you doing here?" His words hung in the air, a call for clarity in the midst of mystery.
What do you think?
