From Beast Abilities to Sect Grand Master

Chapter 291: Han Hou Ren

Just when they thought it was all over, they couldn't believe their eyes when they saw Lin Fan taking out a toad statue from the bracelet.

"Wait. What?"

"Now, I'm truly confused."

"This is not going to end well for the young man."

The crowd started to be perturbed and thought that Lin Fan wouldn't walk out of this unscathed.

Han Xin squinted his eyes, fumed, and ran up towards Lin Fan.

"You think such low-level storage artifacts would let me forgive you?

"Let me tell you that in the adult world, when you make a mistake, you must pay dearly for it.

"Sometimes even with your life!"

He raised his hands, wanting to hit Lin Fan.

The elders watched intensely, ready to spring into action when needed.

Lin Fan saw Han Xin's hand coming near him and he smirked.

This made Han Xin even more mad.

He stopped and turned to his house guards.

"Give me your sword!" He took the sword from the house guards.

Whoosh.

The sword stabbed at Lin Fan, bringing with it a strong gust of wind.

Gasp.

The crowd held their breath, not wanting to see the eventual death of Lin Fan.

Some even closed their eyes.

But to their surprise, they heard nothing.

Silence.

There was no scream from Lin Fan.

Lin Fan held up a box in his hand.

Everyone of them knelt immediately.

It was out of a primordial urge to do so.

Something was making them succumb and obey the powers that were inside the box.

Clank.

Han Xin dropped the sword in his hand and knelt.

The elders were also unable to withstand the urge.

When the Nine Heavens Treasure Tower dropped to the ground, the tower that was protecting the elders disappeared.

Lin Fan then lunged at the elders and with his Celestial Primordial Claws swiped across their necks.

The very next moment, blood spurted out of their necks.

A familiar sound erupted in his mind.

[Ding! Congratulations on terminating malevolent intent.]

[Vengeance points + 1600.]

[Current Vengeance Points: 6600]

Not bad for such an easy kill, Lin Fan thought.

The two elders couldn't even retaliate.

He eyed the Nine Heavens Treasure Tower for a moment.

But he didn't take it.

He knew it would be all-out war with the Han Family if he took their supreme artifact.

"How dare you! You shall pay for this!" Han Xin, who was still on his knees, pointed and shouted at Lin Fan.

Piak.

Piak.

Piak.

Lin Fan went over to Han Xin, squatted down, and slapped Han Xin's face.

"Silly old uncle, it's a life and death duel. Remember?"

The crowd agreed with what Lin Fan had said.

"Yes. The elders agreed to it thinking they could easily win over the young man."

"It would be too shameless if the Han Family denied it now."

"With us as witnesses, I don't think they would dare to do so."

"What if they take revenge on the young man after this?"

"You…" Han Xin couldn't refute Lin Fan and was at a loss for words for the moment.

With the crowd witnessing the whole charade, Han Xin knew he couldn't take things too far.

At least not out in the open.

He had more ways to take care of Lin Fan and Han Dang.

Coincidentally, Lin Fan was thinking about the same thing.

After he got the lead to Master Su Qi Nian's whereabouts, then it would be time to get rid of Han Xin.

He knew Han Xin wouldn't let him off and would be seeking trouble later.

But first.

Lin Fan took up the sword on the ground, laying by the side of Han Xin.

He turned the sword downwards, and he stabbed it into Han Xin's right hand.

The sword plunged deep into the ground, and Han Xin let out a loud cry.

"So sorry, uncle. Young men like me are immature. Doing rash things is to be expected. Don't you agree?"

Lin Fan smirked and kept the box in his toad statue.

And he stored the storage artifacts into one another back in sequence.

"Argh! You shall pay for this, I swear." Han Xin tried to pull out the sword from the ground but couldn't do so.

The only way might be for him to let the sword slice through his palm.

He took a deep breath, pulled slightly but stopped as the pain shot at him like an electric shock.

He didn't have the courage to do so.

With the box being kept inside the storage artifacts, the house guards were able to move freely.

One of them ran inside the mansion and summoned the family head.

Which was what Lin Fan wanted.

After teaching Han Xin a small installment of his lesson, it was time to get back to actual business.

A few moments later, an old man with a wooden staff emerged from the gates of the mansion.

He had a whole entourage behind him, and he froze when he saw Han Dang.

"You are Han Dang? My elder son?" Han Hou Ren asked.

Han Dang walked over with his head held high and stopped next to Lin Fan.

"Yes, father. It's me, Han Dang."

"But you are… Soul Transformation Level now. How is it possible?! When did you have such cultivation talents?" Han Hou Ren couldn't believe himself, and memories came flooding back.

After a moment of deep thought, he looked over at Han Xin and shouted at him, "You, you have a lot of explaining to do! Kneel in front of the ancestors and repent if I'm not satisfied with what I hear."

Hmph.

Lin Fan shook his head and thought to himself, what an old sly fox.

Still giving Han Xin the chance to come up with an excuse.

"Speaking of the ancestors, bring us to ancestor Han Qian. After that, you and I shall not owe each other anything," Han Dang said.

He said it as a matter of fact; it was not even a request.

"Ancestor Han Qian?

"Why would you want to seek a visit with him?

"You don't have to be so extreme.

"You are my son after all."

Lin Fan rolled his eyes at what he heard.

He tugged the sword plunged into Han Xin's hand a few centimeters.

"Argh! The hell with you!"
