Chapter 625 Rosana vs Yun-Jin

Yun-Jin followed Rosana into the Forest zone, her boots crunching on the simulated leaves and twigs that were scattered across the forest floor. The thick foliage seemed to darken the area, as though they'd stepped into another world. Artificial sunlight filtered through the branches, casting dancing patterns of light and shadow on the ground.

Rosana moved confidently through the terrain, her senses heightened. She felt at home here—amongst the trees and underbrush, like a fox in her natural habitat. She glanced back at Yun-Jin, her golden eyes catching the subtle shifts in her opponent's stance.

"Ready?" Yun-Jin called out, her eyes focused, her voice calm. Her Precision Decision Making was already in effect, analyzing every aspect of the environment—the angles of branches, the density of foliage, and Rosana's positioning.

Rosana nodded, her muscles tensed. She felt her adrenaline pumping, her instincts urging her to move. Without another word, she launched forward, claws out, aiming a low sweep at Yun-Jin's legs. Yun-Jin shifted, her feet light on the forest floor, avoiding Rosana's strike with an ease that spoke of discipline and control.

Yun-Jin retaliated immediately, a swift jab aimed at Rosana's midsection. Rosana twisted, her reflexes feline, evading the strike before ducking behind a tree, disappearing into the shadows. Her ears twitched, listening for Yun-Jin's movements as she moved silently through the underbrush.

Yun-Jin remained calm, her eyes narrowing as she tracked Rosana's movements through the simulated forest. She wasn't about to be baited into a hasty mistake. Instead, she raised her hand, her fingers glowing faintly as she formed a light arrow. She fired, not at Rosana directly, but at a branch above her, sending it crashing to the ground.

Rosana darted out of cover, forced into the open by the noise. Yun-Jin moved like a striking snake, her palm connecting with Rosana's side in a sharp, precise hit.

"One," Yun-Jin said, her voice steady, her eyes locked on Rosana.

Rosana grimaced, backing away slightly, her eyes narrowing. "Lucky shot," she growled, her ears flattening for a moment before she took a deep breath, regaining her composure. She couldn't let Yun-Jin get under her skin.

Yun-Jin's gaze stayed steady, her stance relaxed but ready. She could see Rosana's frustration, the way her muscles tensed. She knew Rosana was fast, unpredictable, but Yun-Jin's Precision Decision Making was an advantage that made her capable of anticipating movements, reading her opponent in real-time.

Rosana's tail flicked behind her as she moved, her eyes darting around the forest. She used the trees to her advantage, moving quickly from one to another, using them as cover. She kicked off one of the trunks, launching herself at Yun-Jin, her claws aimed at her opponent's shoulder.

Yun-Jin dodged, her feet shifting on the uneven ground, but Rosana was relentless, twisting mid-air to adjust her angle. Yun-Jin barely had time to react as Rosana's claws grazed her arm, drawing a faint line of blood.

"One each," Rosana said, a smirk playing on her lips.@@novelbin@@

Yun-Jin didn't respond. She stepped back, shaking out her arm, her eyes never leaving Rosana. She could feel the burn of the cut, the warmth of the blood, but she ignored it, her focus entirely on Rosana. She was analyzing, recalculating her approach.

Rosana could feel her own adrenaline surging. She moved again, her body low to the ground, darting between trees. She tried to be unpredictable, zigzagging through the terrain, her movements quick and fluid.

Yun-Jin watched, her Precision Decision Making narrowing down the possibilities. She saw the moment Rosana committed to her next attack—the way her weight shifted, the tension in her muscles. Yun-Jin sidestepped, her elbow coming up to meet Rosana's ribs, but Rosana twisted at the last moment, her claws grazing Yun-Jin's shoulder again, this time deeper.

Yun-Jin stumbled back, her breath hitching at the sting. She pressed a hand to her shoulder, feeling the warmth of the blood seeping through the fabric. Rosana grinned, her eyes gleaming with satisfaction.

"Two," Rosana said, her voice almost a purr. "Guess I'm closer to that secret than you thought."

Yun-Jin narrowed her eyes, her jaw clenching. She hadn't expected Rosana to be this persistent, this relentless. But there was no way she was going to back down now. She adjusted her stance, her mind racing as she planned her next move.

Ty watched from the sidelines, a frown tugging at his lips. He knew both women were strong, stubborn, but this was turning into more than just a sparring match. It was a clash of wills, and neither was willing to back down.

The guards exchanged glances, their expressions wary. "Think we'll have to step in?" one asked, his eyes darting between the two combatants.

"Not yet," the other replied. "Let them work it out."

Ty sighed, his eyes on Yun-Jin. She was holding her own, but he could see the fatigue setting in, the way her movements were just a fraction slower. And Rosana, with her Beast Tribe instincts, seemed to be getting stronger, more confident with each passing moment.

"Great... What have I started?" Ty muttered under his breath, shaking his head slightly. He could only hope Yun-Jin had a plan—because he wasn't sure how much longer she could keep up with Rosana's relentless assault.

Rosana lunged forward, her voice erupting in a fierce shout, "I'm ending this now!" Flames surged along her hands, wrapping around her elongated claws, blazing like twin torches. She dashed toward Yun-Jin, her focus locked entirely on ending the fight with this strike.

Ty's heart pounded, his body reacting before his mind had fully processed the danger. He was halfway out of his seat, ready to intervene if things spiraled out of control, his eyes wide and anxious.

Yun-Jin, however, remained perfectly still, her gaze unwavering as Rosana closed the distance. Her calm amidst the chaos was unnerving, and Ty's breath caught in his throat.

Just when Rosana's flaming claws were inches from making contact, a flash of light surged from the ground below. A golden arrow materialized and shot upwards, slamming into Rosana's midsection. The force of the strike knocked the air from her lungs, and her eyes bulged in shock as her body was lifted into the air. Her momentum faltered, and she was thrown backward, her feet no longer touching the ground.
