Chapter 144- Change in plans

No one was feeling good, and an emergency was issued that an inflammable gas was leaking from the underground pipeline, so the people from the resort were told to evacuate.

The guests who were staying were provided a refund, and swiftly, everyone left the place.

Inside the car, Minoru was sitting in the backseat with Shiori. And the couple at the front. 

The atmosphere of the car was too grim. Although Kosuke seemed much better, Mira showed some signs of being in a daze from time to time. 

The improper control of Minami’s

skill caused this sensation to be born in everyone. 

Minoru guessed that since Shiori and Kosuke were in a physical relationship with him…and somehow shared bodily fluids before, they were somewhat immune to the effect. 

Shiori was also silent because of both reasons: the trip ended before she could have even enjoyed the osene and also, the big revelation of her baby brother. 

Minoru heaved a sigh, and to change the mood he first tapped on his phone screen and went through a couple of options. 

He bought some discount coupons before telling his father, “Dad, can we go to the amusement park in the eastern district? It's in the route and we can stay in the nearby hotel as well.”

Mira was shaken off her daze as before her husband could say anything, she said, “That amusement park is quite famous…the hotels near them must be quite expensive.”

It was true, and something Kosuke couldn't go against.

That's where Minoru’s discount comes, “Here, I got it.”

He offered his phone to his mother before informing the other two, “Three days ago, Akisu’s father received these coupons but since they weren't going on any trip around this time, he gave it to me.”

Mira was surprised to hear that, “These are 70% coupons..”

“Up to?” Shiori asked, to which her mother responded with a shake of her head,

“No…flat.”

Kosuke asked, “I don't see any reason to not go there now.”

Mira nodded before she said, “First, send me these coupons; I will check the hotel rates per night and food cost.”

Minoru smilingly sent her everything along with some discount coupons for some famous chain restaurants which they can find around the park easily.

“How do you even get so many coupons…” Mira asked in astonishment upon seeing tens of vouchers popping in her phone.

Minoru shrugged, “Just a big friend circle.”

Mira scoffed, “Doubt.”

Shiori added, “Same…you and a big friend circle? Doubt.”

Minoru frowned before turning toward his father. 

Looking at him through the rearview mirror, the man shrugged, “You have a family; why need friends?”

“So you're calling me a loner too, huh? Fine.”

Crossing his arm the raven-haired teenager slumped back in his seat and turned his face toward the window.

The others chuckled, seeing the reaction, and Minoru also joined them soon after.

The car turned towards the amusement park Minoru talked about. It wasn't much far away; just thirty miles away. 

Mira asked to first check in the hotel and get some rest before going to the park. 

Since the amusement park remains open until late at night they had plenty of time to visit it. 

The hotel they stopped at was quite big—several big and expensive cars were parked there. 

Kosuke parked the car, and after taking the luggage, they went inside.

The inside of the hotel was extremely pleasing and captivating. 

Minoru and Shiori instantly took out their phones to take a few pictures while the two adults went to check-in. 

Thankfully, there were rooms that they booked, and fortunately, the coupons were all usable.

“I hope you enjoy your stay here, guests.” Kosuke offered a friendly smile before he looked at his children,

“Let’s go now.” 

Shiori and Minoru glanced at each other and decided to explore the place later. 

Along with the hotel staff they entered the elevator. When they entered only five people were inside.

“How many rooms did we book?” Minoru casually asked.

Mira raised her brows, “Of course, two. Although we had coupons the rest of the thirty percent still went from our wallet.”

Minoru shrugged, “We received the refund from the resort and didn't spend the whole amount here. Mom, I sense some scam here.”

The older lady narrowed her eyes before pinching her son’s cheek, “Quite sassy you have become.”

Minoru grinned, “Guess from where did I get the sass-ou-ou!” Minoru winced as the squeeze turned from gentle hold to gorilla hold in no time.

Mira smirked before she turned away and crossed her arms.

Minoru rubbed his cheeks slowly as suddenly he found several other people entered the elevator, pushing him and the others to the back.

Shiori was standing just in front of him so he lazily rested his head on her shoulder; urging her to ask,

“You good?”

Minoru nodded, “Yes I-aah!!”

He suddenly yelped, gathering everyone’s attention as they stared at Minoru.

Minoru, with a frown, looked at the girl standing behind him before asking in a cold tone, 

“The fuck? You just grabbed my ass?”

The girl was slightly flustered since she didn't think the guy would immediately call out to her and even expose what she had just done.

“My hand just touched it…don’t exaggerate things-”

“Just touched?” Minoru asked with his brows raised, “You just squeezed it.”

The girl was now even more embarrassed as she hurriedly tried to leave the elevator. However, following her, Shiori and Mira also walked out and the latter held the girl by hand.

“Wait a minute, missy. Do you think we would let you just run away like this?”

The girl pulled her cap and glared at the woman, “Look, Oba-san, you don't know who you are messing with.”

Mira’s eyes widened, not because of the threat but the way the girl called her.

Shiori frowned, “Whatever your background is, the fact cannot be changed that you showed a vulgar trait by touching my brother inappropriately.”

The girl heaved an exasperated breath before brushing off her hand and walking away.

Mira was about to chase her, but she stopped upon seeing two tall bodyguards standing near the room she was heading to.

Kosuke stepped forward, “Let it be, honey. We will complain to the management.”

Mira huffed but didn't say anything before following her husband.

Shiori turned towards her brother and was confused to see him staring at the room where the rude girl entered.

“Minoru?" 

The red-eyed teenager was shaken off his daze before hurriedly, “Let's go.”

Thanks to that girl he found a familiar person in that room.
