Chapter 265 258 Teizene? Borke?

"The warp activity detector has reached a critical peak, the target could exit warp status at any time."

Bai Zhongqi was already in the highest command center of the Wuyai Palace, within Changxiu Space Base, Xu Lanzhou and a host of Universe Army generals were also holding their breath in the joint command center. The Universe Army was the direct commander, while Bai Zhongqi in the Wuyai Palace was more of an "onlooker," but should he find any directive not to his liking, he could immediately step in and change the order.

Ling asked Bai Zhongqi, "Don't we need to have the Sacred Falcon also mobilize?"@@novelbin@@

Bai Zhongqi slightly shook his head, "There's no need for now, the Sacred Falcon leads the Chancellor's Fleet, which is our most important chess piece. If we were to put it into play right from the start, we would lose the momentum."

Ling smiled and said, "No matter what kind of enemy it is, I will follow Your Majesty and fight to the end."

From the shock and worry upon hearing the news, Bai Zhongqi's emotions had flattened out by now. The large screen in the Wuyai Palace command center displayed the situation in the Changxiu Universe Army Joint Command. Bai Zhongqi's composure reflected in the eyes of others also made them feel more at ease.

Xu Lanzhou's face was equally icy cold, and even in the face of such a sudden situation, she knew that nothing was ever certain on the universe battlefield, and a true Universe Army general would always find means to resolve the situation.

"Wait, this parameter is abnormal, the warp bubble has shown strong unstable characteristics." Ling's expression changed, with data streams rapidly flashing in her eyes, clearly performing a large amount of calculations.

"Our warp interference emitters have been interfered with by the enemy, and they are still traveling."

Bai Zhongqi had placed extremely powerful interference emitters in the Sirius Galaxy, any warp speed travel would be interrupted there, forcing the enemy to stop. A large number of Star Alliance warships could then surround the enemy forces at this location. Moreover, an even more important reason was that Bai Zhongqi wanted to confine the battlefield as much as possible in one place rather than letting it spread to the entire Star Alliance area, especially the Solar System.

"Under what circumstances could the enemy break free from the interference of our interference emitters?" Bai Zhongqi asked seriously. He was becoming acquainted with the unexpected. In a universe full of possibilities, one must be vigilantly prepared for all eventualities.

Ling said to Bai Zhongqi, "Teizene does not possess such technology. It requires the ability to shield against the strong interference rays we emit, a kind of technology that generally only civilizations above level 25 possess."

Like anti-warp interruption technology, the Iridium Star had also conducted some research and achieved certain effects. However, the number and power of interference emitters deployed in the Sirius Galaxy this time were too large and too strong, so the Iridium Star's anti-warp interruption technology was not successful. But the spacecraft inside the warp bubble had successfully used similar technology, meaning that at least in this regard, they had gone further than the people of Iridium Star.

Despite the counter to the warp interruption, the warp bubble could not maintain stable travel for long. The unknown visitor's travel speed was becoming slower and more unstable.

Bai Zhongqi would not miss this opportunity. As a valuable reference, Iridium Star would naturally collect all the useful data, at least for assisting future Star Alliance development of similar technologies.

"The target is headed towards the Solar System, so if it's not the Teizene, did the Teizene leak Earth's coordinates?"

When the warp bubble finally shattered in the outer space of Earth's gravity well, Bai Zhongqi, through the optical instruments in Earth's orbit, saw what was inside.

A warship, colored blue and gold and just over a hundred meters in length, had no obvious heavy weaponry. It was adorned with various complex patterns and shapes that made it look particularly extravagant and flashy.

"Is this... a Borke warship?" Bai Zhongqi had stayed in Bupinga for a while, and the Borke Civilization was a rather high-profile high-level civilization there. He had seen many warships with a similar style.

"No, this is not a Borke ship." Zero enlarged the image and pointed to a claw-like emblem on the side of the ship that didn't match the overall style of the vessel, looking quite out of place.

"The emblem of the Teizene? So this ship belongs to the Teizene," realized Bai Zhongqi with a start.

Meanwhile, the Teizene Captain Maelus was on alert, eyeing the azure planet after the warp bubble collapsed in front of him.

"Indeed, the news from Harass was true; the Danlu Interstellar Cloud is truly a treasure, as is this low-level civilization planet with a population of over seven billion." Maelus couldn't help but smile.

Yet, as he began to smile, a crew member from the ship's battle center yelled out, "Captain, our ship has been locked by the planet's defense system!"

Maelus didn't show much change in expression, as this was within his expectations, though some tension was inevitable. He shouted, "Deploy the high-speed photon sails, and let those Earthlings know that it is simply impossible for them to hit us!"

The moment the Borke ship under Teizene control appeared, Earth's entire defense system had already entered combat mode. Firstly, two dark-red lasers were fired — their massive power indicative of main cannon weaponry with a caliber of 1000WM, essentially one of the most powerful laser weapons Iridium Star could produce at that stage.

The characteristics of laser weapons are very clear: fast shooting speed, high accuracy, but at the same time, inadequate power, short range, and vulnerability to interference.

Once two laser cannons were fired, there was basically no dodging them, but miraculously, this Borke-built ship managed to evade one of the laser cannons just before impact. The other, however, hit the front of the ship's hull.

A burst of red light enveloped the entire ship which had not activated its energy shield. The laser cannon struck the hull directly but dispersed on impact, temporarily painting this gold and blue vessel red.

Within mere seconds, the ship returned to its normal state.

Bai Zhongqi narrowed his eyes, "Reflective armor."

Reflective armor isn't anything extraordinary; almost all universe civilizations would develop this technology because of the characteristics of laser weapons, which make them easy to reflect or disperse. However, there are varying levels of reflective armor quality. Being able to withstand a 1000WM-class laser cannon certainly requires a very high standard.

If the ship had activated its energy shield just now, it's likely that one shot would have overloaded the small craft's shield. But by using reflective armor to directly withstand the hit, it ended up completely unscathed.
