Bai Zhongqi nodded, but his mood was not as relaxed as he appeared to be.

The recently launched Aquarius, along with the second of the two Bojiang Class Battleships, Beiluoshimen, were also deployed there. One-third of the existing Star Alliance warships were at Sirius Base; if the enemy truly appeared, the garrisoned fleet would strike back hard.

Battle fleet groups are the largest scale fleet formations in the Star Alliance Universe Army organization. Unlike navies that form fleets of vessels with similar functions such as destroyer flotillas or submarine squadrons, Universe Army fleet formations are combat-oriented, hence the preference for standardization and task specificity.

A standard Star Alliance Fleet typically consists of 1 main battle ship as the flagship, with a formation of 4-8 heavy cruisers or carrier cruisers, 8-16 destroyers, and 12-30 escort ships or light escort ships under its command. Logistics ships are organized and commanded separately.

A battle fleet group, usually comprised of more than four fleets, is tasked with campaign-level combat, and such a campaign-level magnitude is very significant.

Bai Zhongqi, using a method that starts with establishing the framework, created a total of five battle fleet groups, each of which was actually undermanned. However, the number of ships was already considerable, and there was some capacity to contend with the invading forces from Teizene.
