The blonde felt like she was about to sweat profusely, almost as if coming down with incontinence. She raised her hands and stepped back, looking at this long-haired man with a feeling of great danger.

Xu Lanzhou said, "Yege, it's okay, she's an acquaintance of mine."

The cold-faced swordsman with half his face covered by his bangs nodded slightly, then performed a flourish with his sword, and sheathed the long sword into an accessory hanging off his wrist. Xu Lanzhou neither belittled herself nor was arrogant, she looked at Linyin for a long while, then said, "Come with me."

You Mi'er hadn't expected that this blonde lady actually knew the leader and even felt a sense of kinship. This made You Mi'er secretly think: "Miss Linyin clearly had a good relationship with the leader in the past, could she be a close friend or something? If so, maybe I can find out more about what the leader likes or get a better angle through her."

Xu Lanzhou nodded, "So you're with them."

This made Linyin feel extremely uncomfortable, so she decided to ask her own question, "Is Han Jiaxue with you?"

Xu Lanzhou's face showed a slight fluctuation, and she nodded.

Linyin knew Xu Lanzhou's emotions well, and thought she would see her excited and jubilant. However, she was taken aback.

Because no hint of emotion appeared on Xu Lanzhou's face.

Linyin's expression changed, a mix of chill and fear, her gaze burning into Xu Lanzhou, subconsciously protecting the box at her feet.

"You're not Xu Lanzhou. Who are you?"

Since the beginning of their meeting, Xu Lanzhou finally showed a smile. But this smile, in Linyin's eyes, was so terrifying, so eerie, it only made her more certain, this woman was not Xu Lanzhou.

Xu Lanzhou said, "You really are observant, Linyin. But you might be disappointed to hear, I am indeed Xu Lanzhou."

"Impossible, the real Xu Lanzhou wouldn't have reacted like this upon hearing this news."
