The dark spores this time were more dangerous than the ones before. Shane had to quickly act.

Together with the swarm of insects, the chamber was soon filled with darkness…

Otto tried to burn them but the intensity of his fire was not enough. Even the undead creatures summoned by Zephyrion were being consumed at this point.

Thankfully, Shenlong's aura suddenly spread in a huge circle, covering everyone on the team.

Unfortunately, the air they inhaled was still filled with poisonous spores, causing hallucinations and weakness to anyone caught in it. Even Shenlong frowned as he realized that the toxicity of the air was already too high… He even staggered for a moment when he was caught off guard by the toxic spores.

At this point, only those who were wearing the bio-armors could move!

Indeed, Shane, Lysandra, and Kale activated their bio-armor filtration system, allowing them to relieve the pressure caused by the spores.

"Stay back! This field is dangerous!" he called out as he believed that this was just a desperate move made by the Swarm Sovereign.

Apparently, with Cloud's assistance, Shane was able to confirm that the Swarm Sovereign's body wasn't that strong at all.

Of course, the Zombie Lord was still powerful but compared to his current strength, he should be able to kill it as long as he got closer…

Shane agreed to this and without hesitation, Shenlong made his move.

Then, Shenlong's hand emitted a gold light before he released a palm strike close to the Zombie Lord!

The strike hit the stomach of the Swarm Sovereign and created a gaping hole in it!

It was definitely an opportunity in everyone's eyes. But to everyone's surprise, something unexpected happened. Thousands of insects suddenly came flying into the hole the Shenlong made!

Then, these insects just melted into the Zombie Lord's body, repairing the injury completely! It barely lasted 10 seconds to fully cure that.

"This…" Kale was shocked to see the impressive and unusual regeneration power of the Zombie Lord.

With millions of insects here, this Zombie Lord could definitely regenerate almost infinitely unless they could kill all these summoned insects.

"We need to end this quickly!" Lysandra shouted, swapping her sword for a rifle...

Shane nodded. "Cover me!"

Shane used his Shadow Hunt as he closed his distance with the Necrotic Swarm Sovereign…

Of course, Shane's movement was followed by numerous insects as the Zombie Lord tried to stop him with its massive clawed arms…

Shane barely dodged. He even felt the force of the strike tear through the ground like paper.

But Shane was just confirming the reaction speed of the Zombie Lord and his current agility. This way, he would know how to properly deal with the Swarm Sovereign.

"Alright… Let's see what you're made of." Shane muttered.

Soon, he activated his bio-armor's Predator's Edge closing the distance between him and the Sovereign in a blink.

At this time, Shane's Warden Talisman had fully activated. Over thirty Centaur Spirits were summoned to protect him!

He had to do this very swiftly since he was worried it would be able to regenerate by consuming the nearby insects…

Thankfully, Otto just refilled his energy with the Spirit Stones and followed up with a pillar of fire, setting the Swarm Sovereign ablaze!

And then—

Shane pulled out his Gunslinger Revolver…

Bang!

A single, Tier 5 round from his Legendary-Grade gun pierced through the Sovereign's skull, shattering its last Zombie Core.

Thud!

Shane wiped the sweat from his forehead as he calmed his breathing.

"I already collected quite a number of Treasure Chests… I should probably open them later."

'Ahh… So it's already 18, huh…? The other Clans are taking down Zombie Lords fast…' Shane thought as he realized the competition was heating up.

Shane took a deep breath, looking at the massive corpse before him as he watched it turn into a red crystal that he could loot.

"Damn, that was intense."

Lysandra muttered as she reloaded her rifle…

"That's true… Shenlong, thank you for your support." Shane said to the monk, who was able to act in critical times.

The monk simply nodded as he sat down to recover his energy.

Of course, Shane distributed some resources for free so they could immediately rejuvenate and recover their Spirt Points.

"This place is a bit too close to the Eclipse Domain, are you planning to make this your territory as well?" Tundra suddenly asked from behind.

However, Shane shook his head as he didn't want to his place that was still filled with the remnants of the undead insects. It doesn't look good at all.

In any case, Shane also asked everyone to loot those insects that could be looted since he knew that only those small insects could not be looted. If they were already the size of a human, they could be looted for some experience points.

Just like that, everyone immediately became busy.

Unfortunately, the location of the Dreadnight Fortress was a bit too far and it required a journey of two days if they couldn't find a vehicle they could use.
