Meeting an Acquaintance
Meeting an Acquaintance
"You'll be able to shoot beams!?"
The moment Nami made that claim jokingly, Luffy basically teleported in front of her, eyes shining as bright as the soon, making Nami immediately regret her decision to tease Luffy.
The moment she realized it wouldn't be e easy to get rid of Luffy, now that he was getting curious, Nami wanted Yuna to support her, but somehow, Yuna managed to completely vanish in between the short time it took Nami that she will be able to shoot beams in the future and Luffy appearing on front of her.
Looking around the ship, Nami saw Yuna playing a board game with Chopper, making it look like she has been doing so for a while now, while completely engrossed in the game, not even noticing Nami's predicament.
'Fast! How did she manage to get away so quickly?'
Meanwhile, Chopper was a little confused because he was pretty sure he was reading a book until a few seconds ago. So, why was he suddenly playing a game with Yuna?
Thinking about it a little more, he only shrugged his shoulders and continued playing against Yuna. He decided that it was just his imagination and that he might as well enjoy playing a game with one of the new friends he made not too long ago.
Meanwhile, on a totally different ship, inside the Captain's cabin, a young man was relaxing, leaning back while sighing in satisfaction, while slurping sounds could be heard from underneath his desk.
"You've gotten pretty good at this~"
The sound briefly paused before getting faster and louder, causing the ship's Captain to chuckle in amusement while a pleasure-filled groan escaped his mouth.
Moments later, the room's only door opened, revealing a young woman with a look of concern on her face. However, the moment she heard the sounds echoing through the room, a frown appeared on her face.
"What's the meaning of this, Mikita? You are supposed to be on the lookout today. Why are you having fun with the Captain?"
However, no answer came, causing the woman to groan in frustration while the blonde-haired Captain only chucked in amusement.
"Now, now, you seem to be in a hurry. What's going on?"
"Right, I just noticed another pirate ship approaching us from my room's window; what would you like us to do, Captain?"
"Mhh, another ship? Do they appear hostile?"
"No, it seems like they are only coincidently moving on a route that crosses ours."
"I see... Any information about the bounties?"
"Yes. They call themself the Straw Hat pirated, and their Captain has a bounty of 30 million, while another member of the crew has one of 25 million."
"Oh? That's quite good, considering they have just entered the Grand Line just like us, huh? Mhh, let's meet them and see where this goes."
"I understand, Captain."
Moments later, the woman left the room to prepare for possible combat while the Captain looked down at the bundle of blond hair bobbing up and down between his legs.
"Mikita, we can continue later. We have work to do."
Hearing those words, Mikita stopped her activity and frowned a little while removing her Captain's... object from her mouth.
"So annoying~ I'm certain I was close to getting my price."
Hearing that, the blond-haired Captain only chuckled in amusement while patting the blond-haired woman's head.
"Now, now, no need to get agitated. There is plenty of time for us to have some fun later, Mikita.
"Yes, Captain!"
Meanwhile, back on the Going Merry, Usopp was looking around from the crow's nest using his newly acquired goggles, and seconds later, he actually noticed something approaching the ship in the distance.@@novelbin@@
"Luffy, another ship is approaching us! It's a pirate ship!"
Hearing that, Luffy's eyes shone with curiosity, wondering what that ship was planning to do.
"Shishishi, do they want to fight~"
Hearing that another pirate vessel was approaching them, everyone got on deck, ready for combat. At the same time, Yuna jumped up to the crow's nest with a stack of paper in her hand.
"What does their flag look like? Are any faces visible so I can check for bounties?"
After those questions, Usopp briefly adjusted the setting on his goggles, gently spinning both frames clockwise to improve the zoom and change the focus.
"The pirate flag is a simple skull with a swirling pattern in front of it."
Yuna briefly frowned before shaking her head. At the very least, that was not a pirate crew that had been famous for a long time. She made sure to memorize those worth memorizing from the documents she... borrowed from Louge Town's Marine Base.
"Any other information?"
"Mhh, give them a moment to come closer. Mhh, let's see~ The ship's figurehead is a huge fox head with unusual-looking ears, and on said figurehead stands a young ma with blonde hair and blue eyes."
The moment Usopp stopped speaking, Yuna had to do a double-take to make sure she had heard him correctly, but after adequately digesting what she had been told just now, she could only chuckle in amusement.
"Hehe, I see. A spiral pattern on the flag, a fox head as a figurehead, and a young man with blonde hair and blue eyes. Hehe, I wonder who that could be~"
[It isn't precisely confirmed yet, but it's a little too many coincidences not to be true.]
'Hehe, I wonder if a few of the others are here as well.'
Without any hesitation, Yuna jumped down the crow's nest and landed next to Luffy with a smirk on her face.
"Well, Luffy, I've figured out what is about to happen. There with probably a small scuffle, followed by a party."
"Oh? A party? SANJI!!! PREPARE LOTS OF MEAT!!!"
Completely ignoring anything else, the moment Luffy heard the word party, anything else was forgotten. After all, one of the few things he liked more than eating meat was eating meat during a party.
Ignoring Luffy's antics, Yuna placed herself on the ship's railing, waiting for the other party to arrive with crossed hands and a smirk on her face.
Meanwhile, back on the other ship, the blonde-haired Captain was using a telescope to look at the Straw Hat's ship, and seeing Yuna standing on the railing, he was briefly dumbfounded before chuckling in amusement.
"Hehe, the world sure is small, huh~"
Hearing her Captain's words, Mikita, standing next to him, frowned deeply before snatching the telescope out of his hand to look at what made her Captain chuckle.
Seeing a beautiful woman with blue and red hair looking at them from a distance, Mikita's face darkened.
"Don't you already have us two, Captain? And despite that, you still want to add more women?"
"Hehe, it's a misunderstanding~ Just a misunderstanding~"
Naturally, Mikita didn't believe him for a second and only snorted in disdain, causing the blonde man to scratch his head awkwardly.
"Well, no need for further words, huh? Guess I'll just show you what I'm talking about."
Before Mikita could react, her Captain had already bent his knees and shot away into the distance toward the Going Merry. Surprisingly for her, the woman on the other ship mimicked his movements and shot toward their ship as well.
Both people cocked back their right fists, one getting covered in ice, while the other one was covered in turbulent winds. Seconds later, their fist collided, resulting in a powerful shockwave that sent ripples through the ocean and even affected the movements of the two ships, making their sailing more rough.
""HAHAHA!!!""
Both parties laughed like crazy as their fists collided, dumbfounding the spectators as neither of the two people colliding had shown their crew such a wild personality yet.
The clash took a few seconds as the power of ice and wind fought for supremacy, and as soon as it was over, the duo fell toward the sea. However, before either of them even touched the water, an ice platform formed, allowing both of them to stand on the sea.
Still grinning, the two approached each other again, but instead of throwing another punch, Yuna raised her fist, followed by the young blonde man doing the same, allowing the duo to fist bump.
"It's been a while, Naruto."
"Hehe, has it really been that long, nee-san?"
"Hahaha, guess not, huh? I've only been here for a few weeks!"
"Yup, same."
Obviously, the blonde young man with an Uzumaki spiral on his flag, a fox resembling Kurama as his figurehead wielding the power of wind, could only be Naruto, Yuna's younger twin brother from her previous life.
Meanwhile, the duo's respective crew could only look at the scene in front of them dumbfounded. After Yuna and Naruto clashed, both crews prepared themselves for a hard battle due to the power of the clash, but now, Yuna and Naruto were happily chatting with each other like nothing had happened.
Somehow, that clash that sent shockwaves through the sea apparently was only a greeting for those two. Well, rather than a greeting, it was more appropriate to call it a test, as both wanted to figure out what level of power the other party had reached so far while simultaneously testing how long they had been here.
If Naruto had been born in this world, unlike Yuna, then Yuna had no doubt that he would have been much stronger than her, but since both of them seemed to have reached this place more or less at the same time, their strength was similar so far.
'I wonder who that is? Yuna claimed she wasn't from this world, but now, she seemed to have found someone she knew. How is that possible? Is that person also from another world?'
As those thoughts passed through her mind, she couldn't help but feel a little jealous due to how good a relationship YYuna seemed to have with the young blonde man.
However, the moment she realized what she was thinking about, she quickly squished her thoughts, pacifying herself with the knowledge that Yuna was only into women, just to blush even harder, realizing that she shouldn't think about these things in the first place.
'Why would I care what Yuna is thinking and who she took a liking to? This has absolutely nothing to do with me!'
Naruto saw Nami's reaction out of the corner of his eyes and nodded in understanding and approval.
'As expected of nee-san, she has already started making advances on the women close to her.'
[I don't think you should be acting all high and mighty, considering you already fished two women for yourself.]
'Cough Hehe, that was just a lucky coincidence.'
[I'm not saying it wasn't, but you're degeneracy levels are slowly but steadily reaching Yuna's level.]
'Gasp How can you say something like that!? What if nee-san hears you?'
[I would die telling the truth. Not the worst way to go.]
'Maybe, but it is far from the best way as well, so let's not say things we might regret in the future!'
Anyway, Naruto and his Kurama's bickering aside, just like that, two siblings managed to reunite in the middle of the Grand Line.
What do you think?
