"Bad woman! You must have done a lot of bad things! If not, why did you get struck by lightning? Probably the heavens cannot see your antics anymore."

Yu Mai snorted and then ran away, however, he didn't go back home, instead he shouted, "Help! Someone help! Someone was struck by lightning!"

Lang Ru was stunned by Yu Mai's actions but she soon understood what he was doing and immediately chased after him. She too shouted about a woman getting struck by lightning along with the rest of the children.

The news soon reached Yu Dong and Village Head Gu. While Village Head Gu was stunned silly, Yu Dong simply raised her brows. She had a very good idea about what happened.

The Ding family on the other hand were scared silly. Daddy Ding and Mother Ding were worried that their daughter would be burned to a crisp by the lightning bolt and immediately rushed to the rice paddy where Ding Xuelan was lying.

Who knew whether she was simply unlucky or offended someone in the heavens, Ding Xuelan was struck by lightning when she was standing in the rice paddy.
