Chapter 134
It was a completely white space.
Inside Lin's heart, the background was a blank, white canvas.
At the center of his heart, a large, dark sphere hovered ominously.
"Where am I?"
"I’m sure I was swallowed by that black thing just now…"
Airan glanced around but couldn’t define where they were.
"Magician, do you know where we are?"@@novelbin@@
Before Airan could even ask, Tigria had already rummaged through centuries of knowledge in her mind, but she couldn’t figure it out either.
As they grew increasingly anxious about the ominous black sphere, a voice echoed inside Tigria’s head.
[Can you hear me, puppet?]
‘Who?’
[It’s the dual-blade user of the demon knights!]
‘How are you using telepathy…?’
[Who cares about that! There’s no time. You’ve been dragged into Lin’s inner world. Do you see a black sphere anywhere?]
‘It’s right in front of me.’
[Can you see the chains wrapped around it?]
"Chains?" Tigria squinted and refocused on the sphere.
Just as Denarua had described, it wasn’t black—colorless chains tightly coiled around something inside.
"What is that?"
To everyone else, it seemed like Tigria was talking to herself, but everyone was listening intently. Even Lucy was watching her lips move with anticipation.
[Those chains are sealing Lin’s suppressed emotions. You have to undo them all!]
"We have to undo those chains," Tigria relayed to the group.
Arsil’s face paled at the thought.
"All of them? There are so many… how do we even begin…?"
"Dual-blade user, how do we undo the chains?"
[You mustn’t force them open! You have to release them before… while we’re holding back the Shieldbearer… Salamay!!!!!]
"Dual-blade user? Denarua! What’s happening?!"
Tigria called out a few more times, but the telepathic connection was severed.
What do you think?
