Chapter 71 – Online performance of Sichuan face-changing
Hoare reached out to ruffle Ron's now dark red hair, "Ron, I didn't mean to keep it from you."
He shrugged, looking at Ron with a helpless expression.
"See, I didn't tell anyone."
"Think about it, haven't I always been open about my habits?"
"It's just that you all didn't notice."
Hoare spoke with a sense of righteousness.
"Seems like it!" Ron felt that Hoare had a point.

He thought for a moment, realizing that even though Hoare hadn't told him, he could have figured it out himself!
But he hadn't noticed at all!
Would Hoare be very disappointed...
Ron suddenly felt he was a very unqualified brother, unable to even notice his own brother.
His brother was Hoare, and even if Hoare turned into Malfoy's face one day, he would still be Hoare!
Ron imagined that scenario and couldn't help but shiver.
Merlin, I was just imagining it, please don't let Hoare look like Malfoy.
Hoare watched Ron lower his head and think for a long time, then look up without the previous distressed look.
He breathed a sigh of relief.
Ron was still the best, able to comfort himself, otherwise Hoare would really have a headache trying to cheer Ron up.
Over there, Ron recalled the Henry William he had seen before, scratching his messy red hair, "I thought Henry had so many habits just like yours."
Ron quickly turned to Harry, "Ask Harry, isn't it true? I've mentioned it to him several times, if Hoare wasn't a Squib, I would have—"
At this point, Ron paused, finally realizing what was wrong.
Ron's eyes widened, his mind turning slowly, "Hoare—you, you, you're not?" He was almost stuttering.
Just now, just now, was Hoare actually!!!
"Metamorphmagus." Hoare raised an eyebrow, "I'm a Metamorphmagus."
"How is that possible!?" Ron was shocked, Hoare was actually a Metamorphmagus!?
"Hoare, Hoare, can you—" Ron imitated Hoare's earlier gesture, wiping his face.
Harry and Hermione heard this, exchanged a glance, and came over full of curiosity, not even putting down the snacks in their hands.
"What is a Metamorphmagus?" Harry asked curiously.
"Hoare is really a Metamorphmagus!? Can you—" Hermione had read about it in books.
Hoare sighed, he knew it would come to this.
In the Headmaster's office, to prove to Molly and Arthur that he indeed had magic, Hoare had demonstrated for quite a while in front of the four adults, like a performance report.
Towards the end, Hoare could clearly feel they were doing it on purpose!
Wanting to see him awkwardly wave his wand!
Hoare looked at Ron, who was also looking at him curiously, and sighed.
He reached out and wiped his face.
Instantly, his entire face turned into Henry William's.
Then he wiped again, and a red-haired Harry Potter appeared before them.
He wiped once more, and Harry and Hermione, who witnessed the scene, almost burst out laughing, except for Ron, who looked terrified.
Pansy and Blaise on the opposite bed heard the commotion and looked over curiously, and everyone quickly covered their mouths to stifle their laughter.
Because, because Hoare had turned into a red-haired Malfoy!
Merlin's hair!
That was a red-haired Draco! If Draco saw it, he might even want to go down with Hoare.
"Merlin! Hoare, your skill is amazing!" Harry exclaimed.
"Hoare, Hoare, turn into someone else, even Snape!!!" Ron looked at the red-haired Draco in front of him, his face twisted, feeling like his nightmare had come true!
"So this is a Metamorphmagus! It's so incredible!" Hermione curiously examined Hoare up and down, magic was truly fascinating.
"Can we do it too?" Harry asked curiously, preferring hands-on lessons over reading, naturally not liking the library much.
Although Hermione had read about it, the specifics weren't detailed in the books, so she looked to Ron, who was born and raised in the wizarding world, hoping he could explain it to them.
But what Hermione saw was Ron covering his face, looking pained.
It seemed Ron was completely unreliable.
"Metamorphmagus is a safer, more flexible, simpler, and more convenient form of Transfiguration than Animagus. You can transform into any person or magical creature at will, without any flaws."
"Unfortunately, it's a natural-born ability, only passed down through bloodlines."
A voice came from the opposite bed, it was Draco.
He was obviously eavesdropping on Hoare's conversation.
Hoare turned to look, and by now he had already returned to his own appearance.
Draco got off the bed and walked to Ron's bed, staring intently at Hoare's face.
"Henry William?"
His tone was filled with anger, "Don't you have anything to say to me?"
"I thought we were at least friends!"
Hoare looked at Draco, his pale skin now tinged with red, the color of anger.
"Malfoy! You're not friends with Hoare!" Ron's tone was full of disgust.
"Shut up, Weasley! This is between me and Henry!" Draco retorted, his eyes still fixed on Hoare, waiting for his explanation.
"I'm also a Weasley." Hoare stood in front of Draco, blocking Ron's view of him.
"Ah-ha?" Draco found it unbelievable, "So, that's all you have to say?"
Hoare shrugged, extending his right hand, but before he could speak, Draco instinctively stepped back, covering his pocket, "Are you crazy! Still thinking about money now!?"
"I just wanted to shake hands and reintroduce myself." Hoare said helplessly, wondering how such a kind person like him could be misunderstood by Draco.
Draco realized his overreaction, awkwardly pursed his lips, and reluctantly placed his hand on Hoare's outstretched right hand, loosely gripping it.
"My name is Hoare Weasley, pleased to meet you." Hoare tilted his head.
"Heh, you think no one would dare be mad at you, huh!" Draco was very dissatisfied with Hoare's attitude of keeping secrets.
How could he do this!
Deceiving everyone, without even an explanation, and just wanting to move on!?
"I was me before, I am me now, and I will be me in the future. I don't think I've done anything wrong, do you have to evaluate my family to know me?"
Hoare truly didn't see any issue.
The only ones he felt guilty towards were his family.
Because there shouldn't be secrets among family.
But as for others, he never thought there was a problem.
Hoare is Hoare, and just because he's not a Squib now, does that mean his family would hold a grudge against him?
They wouldn't.
As for others at school.
Come on, if they distanced themselves from Hoare because he's a Weasley, then Hoare couldn't care less.
There's no need to maintain such friendships.
Draco laughed in anger at Hoare's reasoning, "I'm angry, not because of that!"
"If Ron Weasley hadn't had an accident this time, would you—"
"Would you never have told us—"
"Who you are."
What do you think?
