Finally, the results were announced.
With the combined efforts of everyone and himself, Ron's average grade reached a B+.
He happily held his report card and headed to the Slytherin common room to find Hoare.
The passing Slytherins were already indifferent to Ron's presence.
Occasionally in the morning, you could see two identical faces yawning as they came downstairs together.@@novelbin@@
"Draco." Ron was in such a good mood that he even called Draco by name, which startled Draco so much his face turned into a scream.
"Weasley, what are you doing!" Draco's expression was one of utter shock.
Ron beamed with excitement and asked, "Where's Hoare?"
Draco collected himself, coughed dryly, and was scared to death, thinking this Weasley had discovered he had been hanging out with Hoare all along.
"Hoare went to see the headmaster."
Draco remembered being woken up by Hoare knocking on his door early in the morning and taking away 400 Galleons!!!
That was the last bit of savings he had accumulated since childhood!!!
He didn't want to be a prefect next year; being a prefect was too expensive.
Draco's expression was full of resentment, and he decided he would have a good talk with his father when he got home.
