Jenny turned her head again at the rustling sound coming from the side. Sunwoo, having finished his fish-shaped bread, pushed the basket of tangerines and, before she knew it, was getting up from his seat and putting on his outer coat.

It was a decisive action, not typical of the usually sluggish Sunwoo.

“Jenny, can you watch the shop for me? I'll be back before closing time.”@@novelbin@@

In the blink of an eye, Sunwoo had passed the counter and was heading out the door. His face was brighter than it had been just moments ago.

“Let’s go.”

Sunwoo grabbed the man's wrist, nodded at Jenny with his eyes, and walked out. Jenny stood still for a moment, then raised her lips into a smile. Her sharp instincts quickly led her to recognize the man who had piqued her curiosity.

‘That must be the boss's lover!’

Considering the smile on Sunwoo’s face, it seemed more likely that the man was another father of the baby, rather than a lover.

Jenny made a mental note to ask later why he hadn't shown up until now, then cheerfully began tidying up again.

The man who intrigued Jenny, Kang Jinwook, looked down at the cold, white fingers wrapped around his wrist. He realized it was the first time Sunwoo had grabbed him like that.

Just a few months ago, Sunwoo had only pushed him away.
