Just as Sunwoo was about to ask if Kang Jinwook was the one orchestrating everything that was happening now.
"Did you get a call from Lawyer Park?"
Kang Jinwook interrupted, asking the question. Sunwoo narrowed his eyes, realizing that Kang Jinwook had purposefully diverted the conversation.
"Yeah, we talked. He said he finished sending the contract to Chairman Kang. But, you helped with that, didn't you?"
Sunwoo stared at Kang Jinwook before finally answering his question. If Kang Jinwook didn't want to talk about it, Sunwoo wasn't going to press it. He figured Kang Jinwook would eventually tell him when he was ready.@@novelbin@@
"It was something I needed too."
"What do you mean?"
"You heard it earlier. Chairman Kang has been illegally acquiring a significant amount of property."
Right, Sunwoo had heard that. But he still couldn't understand what it had to do with everything that was happening.
"It’s not just Chairman Kang. His father also bought a lot of properties like that. Starting with the land you owned."
