WAAAAAAAH!

Light and darkness endlessly devoured each other in the sky as the earth shook violently below.

Between them raged the massive war between humanity and the demon realm.

"Sweep away everything blocking the empire's path!"

BOOM!

Unimaginable magic continuously exploded, engulfing the monsters.

"You human vermin! Today I'll tear all your throats out!"

SCREECH!

Bizarre attacks from the demon tribes tore through the imperial forces.

The earth turned red from the endless slaughter. Chaos intensified as countless souls perished.

It was truly a scene of hell on earth.

Though the power between the two forces seemed evenly matched at first, that balance didn't last long.

"The left wing is being pushed back."

Evelyn, who had taken command of the entire army in Zion's place, spoke in a grim voice.

Her eyes watched as the fairies and giants on the left wing were gradually pushed back by monsters that had grown even more grotesque.

"To think they'd use tactics. Then..."

Just as Evelyn's expression turned serious at seeing the demon armies moving far more systematically than usual and was about to give additional orders-

A crimson streak shot toward the left frontline faster than she could speak.

It was Celphia Woodhart.

Unique demonic energy burst explosively from her body as she drew out her innate authority "Magic Consumption" to its limit.

Tension filled Celphia's eyes as she aimed toward the left wing.

'Can I really do this?'

This was a war of unprecedented scale against countless monsters she'd never seen before.

Her heart pounded faster than ever.

"No, I must."

For Emperor Zion who had taken her in.

Determination blazed in her eyes.

Then-

Her tremendously amplified demonic energy formed a massive barrier that covered the frontline imperial forces battling the monsters.

Army Consumption Bestowal.

Celphia's greatest ability that granted "Magic Consumption" to an entire army rather than just individuals.

As the hearts of the fairies and giants who received this ability began beating faster-

BOOM!

With that thunderous sound, the tide on the left wing completely reversed.

The forces that had barely been defending and dodging now actively absorbed the monsters' demonic energy and converted it into their own power.

"Wahahahaha! What is this!"

"Don't know what it is, but it's great!"

The giants wrapped their weapons in crimson demonic energy, unable to contain their surging power, and began madly cutting down the monsters as they advanced.

BOOM! BOOM!

Victory began tilting toward the empire.

Just as the battlefield's momentum shifted dramatically-

"How spirited. But your advance ends here."

The demon realm's Great Demon-level forces that had been merely watching finally took action.

The first to move was-

"This world's fate is set for destruction. Thus I merely act to ensure it happens. You too should accept this fate."

The Proxy Ahmad Leviathan.

Without any guards or troops, he appeared alone. In his hand-

Brilliant blue light bright enough to blind began gathering.

Space shattered and the earth quaked like an earthquake from that light alone.

"Run away!"

The imperial forces scattered in all directions, realizing that light would instantly annihilate their entire unit when released.

"It's already too late."

Just as Ahmad was about to clench his fist holding the blue light-

"No, it's not too late yet."

A low voice rang out and-

The blue light and Ahmad's entire hand holding it vanished.

"..."

As the Proxy stared at his missing hand with emotionless eyes, a handsome man with light gray hair appeared before him.

It was the Void Dragon Ereshkigal.

"Proxy, we shall be your opponents."

Beside the dragon emerged the White Flame Emperor Ahmad, Sword King Ludwig, Diana, and Rubrious, followed by the Gray Lion Corps.

"...Dragon, will you too refuse to accept the world's fate?"

Just as Ahmad questioned those blocking his path with apparent confusion-

RUMBLE!

The earth began shaking violently with explosions from the opposite side of the battlefield.

This tremor held overwhelming power unlike anything before - beings below a certain level would collapse just from feeling it.

The one creating these tremors was-

"How dare you rampage here!"

The last remaining Great Demon, Wrath.

His hidden face was completely twisted with tremendous anger unlike his usual demeanor as he appeared with his personal guard the "Endless Rage."

He had decided to properly use his authority of "Wrath."

As befitting the one known to possess the highest status among the Four Great Demons, his power affected the entire battlefield.

"Today humanity's hope will be completely crushed."

With those words like a vow, a bright red sphere formed above Wrath.

The sphere began rapidly spinning, absorbing all surrounding energy while emitting light as intense as the sun.

Just as the fully expanded sun was about to explode-

SLASH!

A sword pierced through time from empty space and cleaved the sun in two.

As the split sun fell toward the ground-

Thousands of lightning bolts rained down from the sky toward Wrath and his guards.

The view was dyed yellow from the strikes.

"Not even a scratch with that level?"

Rain Dranir emerged as visibility returned, speaking as she watched Wrath standing unchanged despite taking her lightning strikes.

"He's called the de facto leader among the Four Great Demons. We need to go all out from the start."

Hero Claire appeared beside Rain, holding the holy sword that had cut the sun.

"I know."

The rest of the hero's party descended behind them.

These were the forces Zion had assigned to handle Great Demon Wrath in this final battle.

'Emperor Zion trusted us to handle Great Demon Wrath. We must live up to that trust.'

With that thought, Claire gripped her holy sword tighter.

"So you're the weakling hero and her companions. Yes, killing you here will accelerate the world's fate toward destruction even faster."

With Wrath's mutter like a beast's growl-

BOOM!

The clash began.

"What's this? The humans here seem even weaker than where I lived."

Far from those two battle zones, a woman with huge bat wings on her back flicked her finger with an amused smile.

"Doesn't seem like I even need to step in."

SCREECH!

Hundreds of massive gates opened around her as monsters from another world poured out like a waterfall, creatures that moved like extensions of her own limbs.

The woman's name was Cardelina.

She was the Great Demon-level demon that the Demon King had newly recruited from another world.

"Eliminate everything-"

Just as she was about to give orders to the otherworld monsters that had instantly formed into an army-

"Oh? A new face?"

An eerie voice rang out as a woman appeared before Cardelina.

A witch with long straight hair reaching her waist and blood-red eyes.

"Looks quite tasty."

It was Liushina.

"Did you just say I look tasty? Haha, you're an interesting one."

Cardelina looked at the witch with curiosity.

"And I'm also the one who will kill you."

"Hmm, can you back up those words? You seem strong for a human..."

As the demon smirked-

"But you're all alone."

SCREECH!

The otherworld monsters gathered behind her, forming into an army.

"Can you really handle all these monsters by yourself?"

The number of monsters was so overwhelming that an ordinary person would go mad just looking at them.

But Liushina's smile grew even more delighted as she looked at the monster army.

"Of course I couldn't handle them alone. But..."

A wave of apocalyptic energy began rapidly spreading from beneath the witch's feet as she stepped forward.

The ground turned completely purple.

"I never said I was alone."

"What?"

Just as confusion filled Cardelina's eyes at those strange words-

CRUNCH!

Countless beings slowly began rising from the apocalypse-stained earth.

The Evil Hand Army - one of the Witch of a Thousand Killings' signature powers.

As Liushina ascended to become the Witch of the End, her Evil Hand Army revealed itself to the world again with power incomparable to before.

ROOOAR!

The army of beings that had accepted the apocalypse and transformed from Evil Hands into something new released screams that seemed to tear the world apart.

"What is this..."

Perhaps she hadn't expected a mere human to be capable of this?

The witch grinned at Cardelina's shocked face and-

"Now, I'll devour everything."

The moment she flicked her finger-

RUMBLE!

The army of apocalypse charged toward the monster army at terrifying speed.

As these unimaginable clashes occurred throughout the battlefield-

'Why... why can't I see him?'

Wrath's eyes were filled with questions as he battled the hero's party.

Not because of the hero's party he was fighting.

But because Zion Agnes still hadn't shown himself.

'He was definitely at the front of the army during the pre-war speech...'

Yet he hadn't been seen since the moment the war began.

'Could he have fallen back?'

Wrath briefly considered this but shook his head.

The Zion Agnes he knew would never do such a thing.

He was someone who led from the front, crushing all obstacles and filling his enemies with despair.

For such a being to not show himself at all naturally raised questions.

Then-

"...It can't be."

Wrath's eyes began trembling as he surveyed the entire battlefield.

He saw the empire's main forces fighting him and the other Great Demon-level powers gradually moving at regular intervals.

No, not just them - the entire imperial army fighting the monster forces was slowly splitting apart as if coordinated.

"This is..."

A single path gradually revealing itself in the center!

"No, we must stop them!"

Just as Wrath's shout burst out as he finally realized the imperial army's intention-

---!

He could see it.

No, everyone there could see it.

A single line that instantly cut through the battlefield's center, starting from behind the imperial forces!

This was no ordinary cavalry charge.

It was far too fast for that.

Like black light racing across an empty sky.

The line crossed more than half the battlefield in an instant.

And at the very front of that line-

"ZION AGNES!"

Zion rode atop his spirit horse.

The demon armies cried out in shock and confusion at this charge that far exceeded their expectations.

"So it begins."

A smile curved Evelyn's lips as she watched.
