Chapter 312 Next Mission

[Chapter 311 Comments.]

[Keltic_Spirit: A nice message. Now, it would be fun to see you putting the special mission through a recreation of your world. Though I highly doubt that will happen.]

"Teacher… I wonder if I'm the right choice. I'm happy and excited to know that I can go on a mission with you, but I feel like all of them are better than me. They have big ambitions, while my goal is as petty as showing my family that I can do everything by myself." Haruka looked down with a sad expression.

Theo raised three fingers. "I want you to remember three things. A life goal is not necessarily a bad thing, but not having one doesn't mean you can't get stronger or are not worth it. I, too, started because of my family, but I ended up causing much bigger problems and having bigger goals. What I want to say is that you climb the ladder step by step, so there is no need to feel pressured.

"Secondly, while your classmates have ambition, I don't want them to stoop so low that they are willing to do anything to achieve their goals.

"Last but not least, I want you to keep asking yourself. Have I done something right? Who will judge me? Is it my friends? My enemies? Bystanders? If all those people judge you, how do you feel?"

Theo smiled and patted her head. "Keep asking yourself those questions, and I can assure you that everything is going to be alright."

"I don't entirely understand, but I'll go back and study it." Haruka nodded. Theo never gave useless advice. If they thought it was useless, they simply believed they were too dumb to understand his hint.

Before Haruka left, she couldn't help but ask, "That's right. What should I do or prepare for the mission, Teacher?"

"We'll go on a mission in the Knight Realm. However, I won't give you the mission details. I want you to prepare everything and meet me in the Knight Realm."

This was a test from Theo. There would be a time where they had to head to a place without basic information, which meant they had to adapt and improvise if they wanted to accomplish their objective.

If she prepared too much, it would slow her down during the mission. If she prepared too little, she would be in a lot of trouble.

Hence, this was probably the biggest preparation that any students had faced so far. Other students definitely wanted to know about her progress and would keep asking her about the mission, which increased the pressure.

After taking several deep breaths, Haruka nodded her head. "I understand, Teacher. I'll do my best."

Theo nodded. "Good luck."

Now that Haruka had gone back before he returned to the class, it was better to use the time to reply to the comments first.

"Well, the principal giving a command that leads to a paradox sounds like Mia's ability, don't you think? In that scenario, she will probably run out of essence before she can do it, unless the effect is minimal.

"Taking a few steps back, even if it means literally, it will allow you to have a wider range of vision of what's in front of you. So there is nothing wrong with it.

"And it seems that I managed to stop it before Victoria said the winner in the last chapter. But did the author not drop the hints, like the students reading the content of the letter or maybe some subtle hints about them?

"Anyway, I don't know about recreating my world. At least I don't have any plans to do it for the time being."

Theo stood up. Since he had replied to all of the comments, it was time to go back to the class after the break.

As expected, the most eager people to see him were Lancelot, Jayden, and Serena. He had told them that he would drop the information regarding the mission.

"As you are already aware of it, the final test will be about you fighting against the world's representative in this academy. I believe that you have grown so much stronger compared to the time you first came here. Find exclusive stories on My Virtual Library Empire

"I only want you to know that this is only the start. Complete your final test to the best of your ability."

Theo paused for a moment before turning to the trio. "The mission for the three of you will be hunting an alien in the Spirit World. However, I won't tell you which alien I'm talking about. Instead, you will have to find out about your current strength and your limit to know what kind of alien we're going to subjugate this time.

"It can be something weaker than you, it can be something stronger than you. Still, it'll definitely be a subjugation mission. Is there any question?" Theo asked.

"I have one." Selena raised her hand. "Can you tell us how long the mission will last?"

"If we can do it quickly, it'll be done in less than a day. Depending on the circumstances, it can last for a week, but I can assure you that it won't be longer than that."

Just getting the information about time was enough. Since it wasn't that long, their target was definitely not an alien with a massive army. In that case, they could pinpoint the type of alien they would subjugate in this mission.

"The rest of the students can also think about it. I can't give you another opportunity, but I can still give you bonus points.

"If you manage to get the highest score in the final, while I can't promise you another mission, I can give you a special gift." Theo smirked. "I hope that you are not slacking just because there is no more opportunity. If there is no question, let's begin the class."

While starting his lesson, Theo couldn't help but add inwardly, 'I think there is nothing to do here. Time skip is probably necessary. No, wait. It's probably better to have Agata's POV, since she will monitor those terrorists closely after failing to kill me in the previous mission. After that, it'll be the mission… I guess.'
