I was Reincarnated as the Youngest Child of a Villainous Noble Family Who Controls the Kingdom from Behind the Scenes

**Action RPG: Princess Sword**

This is a classic, long RPG where the princess of the Sailand Kingdom becomes aware of a great evil lurking within the royal family and decides to confront it.

The great evil in question is the prestigious Balfont family, known as the kingdom's greatest pillar.

In reality, they are a shadowy clan that carries out tasks the royal family cannot handle openly. Without the Balfont family, the royal family would not survive, and this clan has now become the de facto rulers of the kingdom.@@novelbin@@

The youngest of the Balfont family, Alphis Balfont, was extremely arrogant. He treated the weak as less than human, and countless people had their lives ruined by him.

If he wanted something, he would take it, violate it, or kill for it. There was no hesitation or conflict in his actions. Driven solely by his emotions, people called him the Demon King.

However, around the mid  of the story, Alphis is defeated by the protagonist. The battle against Alphis is often regarded as one of the most difficult boss fights in the RPG. But right after defeating him, one of his siblings dismissively remarks, "He was the weakest of the Balfont family."

And now, I’ve been reincarnated as that very Alphis.

At first, I had no idea what was going on, but the man who joyfully picked up the baby version of me was Leorg, the head of the Balfont family. For some reason, I was fully conscious and immediately recognized him as Leorg.

It was Leorg who named me Alphis. Watching him so happy, he seemed like a good father, but I know he’s the final boss. In the end, he’s a tragic figure who stands in the way of the protagonist as an enemy of the Balfont family and is ultimately defeated.

Even without thinking too deeply, I realize I’m going to be raised as Alphis. Alphis is widely known as a scumbag character. For example, he would pit villagers begging for their lives against each other, only to kill the winner after they thought they’d been spared.

"Wait, I thought you were going to spare me!"

"Who said I’d let you live? You’re scum for killing your fellow villager."

Yeah, he’s a real piece of work.

But it’s precisely because he’s so over-the-top that he’s incredibly popular as a villain. Honestly, I don’t dislike him either. Why? Because Alphis is clearly designed to be a villain. I find him more likable than characters who are supposed to be good but naturally do scummy things or make scummy remarks.

The Balfont family,  from where  came Alphis, is essentially the ruling family of the kingdom. They exterminate monsters the kingdom can’t handle, rush to the front lines during wars with neighboring countries, and eradicate any individuals or organizations that pose a threat to the kingdom.

Of course, none of these deeds are ever publicly credited to the Balfont family. They’re always covered up as some unrelated incident. Despite their immense power and influence, the Balfont family is eventually exposed and destroyed by the protagonist.

In other words, if things continue as they are, I’m destined to be killed by the protagonist. Frankly, I’m feeling pretty hopeless.

But when I think about it, this isn’t an experience just anyone can have. I died in my previous life for some reason, and normally, that would be the end. But here I am, given a second chance at life. I should consider myself lucky.

Plus, I have the knowledge from my previous life. *Princess Sword* has a cute art style, but it’s notoriously difficult. I used to upload challenge run videos of the game, which garnered hundreds of thousands of views. I also contributed to most of the *Princess Sword* strategy wiki, which is said to be more detailed than even official guides.

I know all the tips for character growth and how to navigate the early game, but now I’m Alphis Balfont. My character’s abilities are completely different from the protagonist’s. The protagonist has exclusive equipment and skills, and is the most stable character in the game. They also have the so-called "protagonist bonus," allowing them to wield special powers even outside of combat.

So what does that mean for me? Well, Alphis, despite being defeated midway through the story, is said to have latent specs that surpass his siblings. Some even speculate that if he had survived until the later stages of the story, he might have become the final boss. I agree with that sentiment. He left such an impact on players, both as a boss fight and as a character.

I’m glad I was reincarnated as Alphis. With this cheat-level character and my game knowledge, I should be able to avoid my destined death. Just the thought of being able to control a boss character in a regular game is thrilling.

"Leizania, let me hold the child."

"Of course. I can feel a powerful aura emanating from him."

My father, Leorg, takes me from my mother, Leizania. This stern-faced man will eventually become the final boss and do some outrageous things. He’ll be like, "Hyahyahya! Behold the power of the World King!" or something. Treat me well, World King.

"Hmm... I can indeed feel an extraordinary aura."

"Hehehe, I’m looking forward to his future."

The Balfont family wouldn’t have it any other way. What sets the Balfonts apart from other nobles is their exceptional combat abilities. Leorg, in particular, is said to be the strongest in the family’s history, having single-handedly defeated legendary-class monsters. The greatsword he carries is said to be made from the fangs of one such monster.

Being born into such a cheat-level family, there’s no reason not to aim for the top. If I wanted an ordinary life, I could have been reborn as an ordinary person.

But I’ve got a death flag waiting for me. If I don’t become strong, I’m done for. At the very least, I need to surpass the protagonist

More than anything, I love the idea of being able to control a villain character. And to experience this level of power firsthand is like a dream come true.

"Darling, look, the child is smiling."

"It’s as if he’s rejoicing at being born into this world."

You’re absolutely right, World King. You’re ridiculously strong, but I’m going to surpass even that. So please, raise me well.
