I was Reincarnated as the Youngest Child of a Villainous Noble Family Who Controls the Kingdom from Behind the Scenes

c2

It’s been seven years since I was reincarnated as Alphise of the Balfonte family, and thanks to that, I’ve been able to grow up healthy and strong.

Although my early childhood was before the game's story began, I’ve been secretly training using my knowledge from the game.

That said, it’s nothing too grand—I’ve just been focusing on honing my skills with my preferred weapons and magic.

I’ve been grinding away by fighting weak monsters around the estate.

Meanwhile, the rest of the Balfonte family trains in the underground training grounds.

It’s frustrating, but if I were to join them now, it wouldn’t do me any good. I’d just get beaten to a pulp and that’d be the end of it.

The Balfonte family doesn’t teach any specific techniques.

They believe that if you’re truly a genius, you don’t need a teacher. Everyone polishes their own skills independently.

Yet, it’s precisely why the Balfonte family stands as one of the pillars of the kingdom.

Amidst all this, I’m viewed with suspicion within the estate for fighting weak monsters.

“Young master Alphise, where do you go every day when you leave the estate?”

“Lord Leorg, your father, doesn’t say anything about it either…”

Leorg believes that if you’re of Balfonte blood, you’ll naturally become strong.

Or rather, that man only ever thinks about himself.

The reason he was happy when I was born was simply because he gained another capable pawn.

If I grow strong by doing as I please, fine. If I die somewhere along the way, so be it.

Today, as I return to the estate after hunting weak monsters, the hallway is noisy.

That’s the second son, Gillium.

“I tamed you because you’re from the nearly extinct angel race, but you’re really useless, aren’t you?”

“That’s not  like that ! It’s because you didn’t let me fight!”

Gillium is what you’d call a monster tamer.

The one he’s nagging is a girl from the angel race.

In the game, Gillium was a mid-to-late-game boss who stood in the protagonist’s way with a variety of monsters under his command.

In reality, he has a few monsters around him.

“Geh geh geh! You’re really a weak piece of trash, aren’t you?”

“You’re the trash!”

“What did you say?!”

“Gyah!”

The angel girl was sent flying by a demon-type monster.

Then Gillium stepped on the fallen angel girl’s head.

“Who do you think picked up a piece of trash like you with nowhere to go? Huh? Say it!”

“G-g-g…”

Gillium is a prideful character who looked down on Alphise the most.

Even within the estate, he’d constantly pick on me, hurling meaningless insults.

On top of that, he’d do childish things like hiding my weapons.@@novelbin@@

The angel girl being stepped on is probably Lucille, who’s actually a hidden boss.

She’s considered the weakest among Gillium’s subordinates and is sent as an assassin against the protagonists, only to be defeated and disappear.

But after clearing the game, she reappears with an absurd level of strength, standing in your way.

Her strength is described as downright unfair, and the battle against her is considered one of the hardest in all RPGs.

“Hey, trash. Say something disrespectful again… I dare you!”

“Uwah!”

Lucille, kicked by Gillium, crashes into the wall.

I can’t just stand by and watch.

“Hey, that’s enough.”

“Huh? Oh, if it isn’t the weakling Alphise. Out for another stroll today?”

He looks down on me with a smirk, but calling me a weakling is rich coming from him.

In the game, he said something like, “He’s the weakest among the brothers,” about Alphise.

Players must’ve been shocked after the despair-inducing difficulty of the Alphise battle.

But when you think about it, it’s not that surprising.

Hardly any players struggled with the Gillium fight.

They’d say things like, “He’s definitely weaker than Alphise,” or “The enemies around him were stronger, lol,” giving him terrible reviews.

“You don’t need to know. More importantly, release that angel girl.”

“Huh? What did you say? You dare…?”

“Of course. That angel girl isn’t someone you can handle. Listen, this is a warning.”

“Y-you bastard! Since when do you think you can talk down to me, Gillium-sama?!”

Gillium, enraged, swings at me, but I dodge and trip him.

He falls face-first onto the floor.

“Gwah! I-it hurts…!”

“That’s what happens when you laze around at home. I’ll say it one more time. Release the angel girl.”

“Sh-shut up!”

“Your nose is bleeding.”

Blood drips from Gillium’s nose.

Startled, he covers his nose but glares at me.

“Alphise, you think you can order me around? You’re a hundred years too early!”

“Then what? Shall we settle this with a duel? If I win, I get the angel girl.”

“A duel?! Ha! Fine! I won’t take back my words! Hey, you! Trash! Give me your clothes!”

Gillium calls over a servant.

He refers to the servant as trash. Because of him, so many servants have quit.

After wiping his nose with the servant’s clothes, he shoves them away as if they’re no longer needed.

This guy is truly hopeless.
