Isekai Journey Of The Magic Archer

Chapter 1139 The Arcane beast

[OP: ]

-OOOOOOOOOONG…!

The room pulsed with Arcane energy.

Every inch of the floor was covered in their complex, glowing array of symbols, lines, and circles, the summoning circle itself seemed like the personification of immense power.

At the very center, bathed in the array's ethereal light, Anna was standing with her body covered in three halo-like rings.

Her eyes were shut, hands pressed together in prayer, a serene focus etched on her face. Just looking at her was enough for one to know how there was not even an ounce of hesitation in her right now.

She was completely focused, she was not in the Zone right now, but it was nothing less than a calm state that wasn't easy to achieve. At her age at least, it wasn't something one could achieve without going through life-and-death situations.

[ *She's doing well.* ]

She was the anchor, the conduit through which the entity they were summoning would manifest in this world.

She was the main element of this entire summoning circle. The circle itself was made for her. It was unique only to her, no one could actually use it even if they wanted to, and after they succeeded in the process, the entire circle was going to disappear forever as well.

They could use it in case the process fails, but the chances of failure are very low. There weren't many possibilities for failure in the first place with Rein looking after all the possibilities.

'It's going well so far…'

Diagonally behind her, Eon was looking at her with a proud expression.

She was doing well, better than he had expected.

[ *The completion has reached 21%.* ]

His body was enveloped in shimmering silver energy, His Solnova, the unique power he wielded.

The phoenix stigma on his right hand blazed with a kaleidoscope of colors, a visual representation of the immense energy he was channeling.

Thin, almost invisible strings of light connected his hand to key points in the summoning array, reinforcing the structure and flow of magical power.

What he was doing right now could be compared to what a heart does in the human body. He was pumping energy throughout the summoning circle. The process was not automatic or regulated, he was doing it manually.

With so many components attached to the summoning array, they did not really have many elements that they could fit into it.

With the array needing a more sophisticated complication for various things, they knew some of the things were not going to be possible with automated functions.

They needed humans or something that could regulate these functions in real-time and be fine afterwards. They had made that possible by becoming an element of this grand summoning array…

[ *We are reaching 30% completion, master. You should get ready for the first impact.* ]

'I know.'

[{ Help me, Zoe. }]

[{ Yes, big brother!" }]

To Eon's left, at another point of the triangle formation, Zoe stood with a bank of energy screens floated before her, displaying streams of data, fluctuating energy levels, and complex equations.

Her fingers danced across the holographic interfaces, her own Solnova connecting various elements of the core summoning array in the three dimensions with thinner threads than Eon's, manipulating the flow of information and energy in real-time, ensuring the delicate summoning process remained stable.

If Eon was the heart that allowed for the regulation and pumping of the energy into the summoning array, she was the brain that managed the semi-automated process and decoded the various elements of the world that the summoning circle could not do on its own.

Various artifacts lay scattered behind her, each humming with latent power with different frequencies, but it was her skills and precision that was the most crucial element here. She wasn't simply calculating at a speed faster than Alf or was facilitating the energy flow in various parts of the summoning array, but the information that she was handling was beyond that of simple data.

Unlike what the automated processes this highly developed magic array was capable of, she was processing various elements of memory, emotions, and feelings that were flowing through and from the core, from Anna.

They knew that even if it was Anna, she was not going to be perfect when it came to emotions and things related to mental processes. She was doing well, but she was still doing this for the first time, creating errors that would complicate the process.

But, just like how the brain filters out a lot of things and gives out desired or destained outputs, Zoe was processing data of diverse kinds, making the process much smoother for the summoning circle.

[ *The completion is reaching 50%. Master, it is time for the second impact.* ]

'Ok.'

The summoning process was divided into three sections, all of which were going to release a powerful impact on the others present in the room.

The first impact that was released just now did not feel anything tough as all three of them could endure that much, however, the second impact coming for them right now was going to be strong enough for the entire summoning array to fall apart.

[{ "Rein." }]

Thus, her role was going to be pretty important at this point.

[{ "Got it." }]

Across from Zoe, completing the triangle, Rein stood with her entire body covered in colorful threads connecting the entire structure incorporating the elements on the ground, in the space, as well as things on the walls.

-Oooooooooooong!

Her body radiated soft, pink energy, a stark contrast to Eon's silver-white Solnova.

Her eyes glowed with an otherworldly light, the manifestation of her unique divine vision. She was the failsafe, her supernatural sight able to perceive the subtle shifts and potential errors in the arcane weave, a final layer of security against unforeseen consequences.

She was there to prevent anything from going wrong, like the immune system of the body that makes it possible for a body to maintain its homeostasis.

[ *Master.* ]

[{ "Rein." }]

She was looking through the entire process, all the elements of it, all of it including everything that Eon and Zoe were doing, making sure everything was going well.

She was there to prevent anything from going wrong, which included the three impacts that could potentially damage the entire summoning array.

She was connected to not the elements of the magic circle that were being used, but the elements that were incorporated into the array to safeguard the original elements of the array.

-Oooooooooong!

When the second impact came, her divine eyes glowed intensely, radiating a strong energy into the magic array, and releasing some elements of the array that ultimately prevented the shock from reaching any of the vital elements of the array.

-Zaaaaaa…

She did it so swiftly that the process took only a few blinks of one's eyes. But the truth that only those who understood what had just happened could see, was much more complicated as she had done something even the high mages would find nearly impossible to achieve.

The precision and the kind of timing that she needed to pull this off was unreal.

She was given this responsibility exactly because she was capable of such a thing, her attention to detail was comparable to Eon's already, and that was the reason he had assigned this task to her.

She was the only one who could have made this possible, but since the process was so severely tiring, it was only possible for her to do something like that once.

The third impact wasn't going to be the same as this one. She would not be able to handle it even if she wanted to, and even if they weren't doing what they just did, the third impact was going to be a one-sided process that needed to be shouldered by someone who could endure a strong burst of Energy.

[ *We are reaching 90% completion now. It's time… master.* ]

It was up to Eon. he was going to be the one to take on the final, and most brutal impact by himself.

Zoe needed to remain in her position for the entire process to conclude and Rein needed to stay in her place for the array to continue functioning safely.

He was always going to be the one to play this role. This was also one of the reasons he had asked Anna to ignore the things she felt…

The approach from the higher beings, their connection with various realms at this moment, this whole process being the beginning of something much bigger, and the possibility of an outsider's invasion was prominent right now.

When the third impact was hitting them, the possibility was increased even more. So, she needed to endure as much as Eon right now… even if she wasn't in pain physically, she needed to control her instincts to worry about her brother who was in pain, and continue with what she was supposed to…

[ *88%...* ]

She knew her big brother was going to be suffering because of her once more, but this time, she had prepared herself for this.

[ *89%...* ]

The space around them had become undefined by now.

The connections to all realms were opened, but they could not perceive it from here.

Those who were looking at them from outside of the influence of their barrier, could not even see what was going on here anymore.

The space, the realms, the gate of the spirit world that was being influenced because of this summoning, the waves that reached even the heaven and the depths of hell, and the voice of a certain young girl that called out for an arcane beast… all of it, and then there were the bleeding lips of her big brother.

[ *90%...* ]

The third impact hit them. The energy within the summoning array exploded. The counterflow was completely endured by Eon, his stigma burning with a certain white flame this time…

[ *The selection process is beginning.* ]

It was up to Anna now.

[ *Activating mental-physical defence.* ]

They were done with their part with this.
