I've Become the King of Villains in the Game

Chapter 283: 204 I Feel More Comfortable Touching

Chapter 283: Chapter 204 I Feel More Comfortable Touching

Spirit World.

Chen Lun’s room appeared blurred, with all its furnishings covered in a thin layer of light blue mosaic.

He sat on a chair, looking at the three scrolls in his hand, a smile emerging on his slightly tired face.

‘It really takes a lot out of me… Transcribing three scrolls in one go is my limit.’

Chen Lun casually tossed one of the scrolls into the air, it unwound by itself at midair, and immediately a white python thick as a thigh sprang out and struck forward fiercely.

With a loud bang, the desk shattered, and a hole opened in the wall.

The white python twisted around, split from the head like a blooming flower bud, and split into five unevenly sized white snakes, thick as arms, resembling the fingers of a hand.

The five white snakes frantically attacked everything around them, destroying all the furnishings in the room before dissipating without a trace.

Chen Lun frowned slightly.

‘This scroll is equivalent to a full-force punch from my “Serpentine Incarnation”… but it splits into two phases of attack, first with the python strike and then splitting into five smaller snakes for a chaotic assault.’

He shook his head slightly in disappointment.

The power was too weak for him, and it was both mentally exhausting and costly, making it very inefficient.

Even if he threw out dozens of scrolls simultaneously, they still couldn’t compare to a casual blow when he was in an “Extreme State”.

But then he had another thought.

‘They might not be very useful for me, but I could keep them for my team members… or even sell them to players?’

Chen Lun wasn’t arrogant, but the fact was, at his current stage, not even a Transcendent of Sequence Seven dared to face his full-force punch head-on.

If he encountered an average Transcendent of Sequence Eight, his punch could either kill or severely injure them.

He looked at the two scrolls in his hand and already had a plan.

Jack’s estate.

The little white cat Biebu was napping on the couch.

Suddenly, it lifted its head with alert, pupils dilating, ears drooping, and back arching in alarm.

Meow!@@novelbin@@

A much larger white cat slowly approached, eventually leaping lightly onto the coffee table, its green vertical pupils fixating on the smaller cat.

The little white cat trembled, not daring to move.

The big white cat miaowed softly twice; the little white cat ceased trembling and looked at it with some confusion before tentatively hopping over and sniffing the other.

Biebu seemed to recognize who it was and affectionately rubbed its head against the other.

A thoughtful look crossed the large white cat’s eyes.

“Wow! What a cute big white cat!”

A female voice rang out then.

The two white cats on the coffee table turned to look, and there was Connie, watching them with a delighted expression, accompanied by Floey, Noah, and Golov.

Connie quickly walked to the side of the coffee table and picked up the large white cat, happily stroking it.

“Biebu must be lonely living alone in the estate, and now it finally has a companion! Is this a stray from around here, or did it escape from another family…?”

She said this with some confusion.

“None of that matters; what’s important is whether it’s male or female…”

Golov said.

“Maybe we could pair them up?”

Connie seemed to find some logic in that and was about to lift the large white cat to check its gender when it spoke:

“Golov, that’s not a bad idea… why don’t you give it a try?”

“Ah!”

Connie was startled and involuntarily threw the large white cat out of her arms.

However, the large white cat landed agilely and was completely unharmed.

“Leader… Mr. Leader?!”

Hearing that familiar voice, Golov’s eyes widened and he started sweating profusely after regaining his composure.

“Er, I was just joking, ha… ha.”

The others were surprised; the large white cat turned out to be Mr. Jack.

Floey stepped forward, bent down, and gently picked up the big white cat.

“Mr. Jack, how did you turn into a cat?”

Noah asked curiously.

“I was just studying magic; don’t make a big deal out of it…”

Chen Lun lazily leaned into Floey’s arms and spoke.

Connie looked embarrassed, having just thrown Mr. Jack.

“I’m sorry, Mr. Jack. I didn’t mean to…”

“It’s okay.”

Chen Lun shook his head and continued:

“You all go ahead; Floey, stay. I have something to explain.”

“Yes, Mr. Jack.”

The other three exchanged glances and left, their surprise not yet fully subsided, while Floey stood still.

She turned and holding the big white cat, went to the yard and then sat on a swing. This swing was personally installed by Chen Lun, and Floey often rested there.

She didn’t speak, seemingly waiting silently for Chen Lun to begin.

The big white cat pulled out a black crystal stone.

“This is a Supernatural Power known as ‘Dragon Sharpstone’; see if you can use it to forge some Mysterious Objects… If it’s useful, I’ll figure out how to get more later.”

“Okay.”

Floey took it, nodding lightly.

The big white cat then took out a parchment scroll.

“This is a Magic Scroll I transcribed myself that can release a giant python, the power is roughly equivalent to my full strike. Take it, you might need it someday… Well, when I have time, I’ll transcribe a few more for you.”

Floey received it, a faint smile on her face.

“Thank you.”

She gently stroked the big white cat, who looked surprised at first before closing its eyes and unconsciously purring in her arms.

Floey bent slightly and brought her head close to the big white cat’s ear and whispered softly:

“Did you enjoy Connie’s petting just now…?”

The big white cat opened one eye slightly, glancing at the beautiful face close by:

“Cough, not really.”

“Hmm.”

Floey nodded, seemingly believing his words completely.

“I would feel more comfortable.”

After dinner.

In the living room’s sofa area, three gentlemen of the circus were sitting.

No, to be precise, it was two gentlemen and an ugly black cat, as Golov had been transformed by Chen Lun’s magic at that moment.

“Mr. Jack, about Golov,”

Noah spoke softly.

“Don’t worry, nothing will happen. I’m just testing something.”

Chen Lun stared intently at the black cat, extending his silver staff to point gently at it.

“Continue transforming.”

Bang!

White smoke dispersed, and the ugly black cat had turned into a toad.

Bang!

The toad once again transformed into a rat.

Bang!

By the time Golov returned to his original form, he was sprawled on the sofa, sweating profusely, though it was unclear whether from exhaustion or fright.

“Golov, what was it like to become an animal?”

Chen Lun asked aloud.

Golov exhaled and, following the instructions previously given by the leader, he thought for a moment before answering:

“I felt that I could still think and move freely, but I couldn’t speak human language or wield my supernatural powers… It was as if I was sealed.”

Chen Lun nodded in understanding.

‘It seems transformation magic can indeed serve as a means of control… but it requires proper weighting, making it not so easy to affect the more powerful.’

“You’ve worked hard, Golov.”

Chen Lun consoled.

Golov immediately sat upright, shaking his head and waving his hands continuously.

“No, no, it wasn’t hard at all, Mr. Leader!”

“Ha ha, that’s good.”

Chen Lun chuckled lightly, causing Golov to secretly wipe away sweat.

“Noah, I need you to help me with something too.”

He then turned to Noah.

“Is it… to turn me into an animal too?”

Noah stammered.

“Oh no, Golov has already been tested. I am referring to something else.”

Noah breathed a sigh of relief and smiled:

“Mr. Jack, please tell me.”

“In the coming period, try using the ‘Bone Gallery’ to draw portraits for our team members… those that can temporarily retain a bit of their supernatural powers.”

Noah immediately understood Chen Lun’s intention, nodding with a smile.

“Sure, no problem, Mr. Jack.”

On the outskirts of Amber City.

At the entrance of a village.

Two figures slowly left the village.

“Akebin, have you finished your task? I really don’t want to waste any more time.”

Drake, with a cigarette in his mouth, said impatiently.

“Hmm… all the preliminary work has been completed. Once the infected individuals recover on their own, my ‘Vaccination Ritual’ will be successful.”

The buzz came from behind the crow mask on Akebin’s face.

“So now, can we finally go and carry out the club’s task?”

Drake exhaled smoke and glanced at him.

“Yes, let’s go.”

Akebin said.

“Enter the Inner City District directly from the Spirit World, where the current controller of the circus resides… capture him and take him away for questioning.”

Buzz!

The two stepped forward, entering the Spirit World directly, and their figures disappeared.

Moments later.

They had already arrived in the Spirit World area corresponding to Amber City, the outlines of the material world city visible within their sight, albeit blurred and distorted.

As the two prepared to move forward, they simultaneously turned around.

They saw a team of more than a dozen black-coated Transcendents rapidly approaching. They were menacing and clearly harbored ill intentions.

“It’s the Shelter’s ‘Executioner Squad’… coming after you, Akebin.”

Drake said, his tone carrying a hint of schadenfreude.

Akebin snorted coldly, speaking in a grave tone:

“Let’s leave the Spirit World first. After we shake them off in the real world, we’ll find a way to regroup.”

Not waiting for Drake’s response, Akebin left the Spirit World on his own.

Drake sneered, glanced at the fast-approaching Executioner Squad, and also chose to avoid their edge, following in Akebin’s steps and disappearing into the Spirit Realm.

The Executioner Squad had long spotted the duo of Drake and Akebin, yet they did not chase immediately.

“Captain Talelang, that was the wanted instigator of the plague case, ‘Akebin Kowal’… What should we do?”

A young female executioner asked.

The one named Talelang was a middle-aged man, his sandy brown hair standing on end in the rushing wind.

“Our main objective this time is to round up the Dark Knight, Bales… The executioner squad previously responsible for capturing Akebin was wiped out by Bales.”

Talelang’s voice was hoarse.

“But since we’ve seen him, we can’t pretend nothing happened… Laisley, you take two people to track Akebin, and remember, no need to engage, just keep tabs on him.”

“Yes, captain.”

The female officer responded.
