Khalifa: Queen in the Apocalypse

Chapter 22: Argument

Jacob had long been attracted to this tutor of his. Even if she tried to cover herself, his eyes couldn’t help but watch her lips when she talked, but she was shy and he dared not make any moves.

His small brain could only make up that pitiful excuse.

He was also annoyed that she could ask the question without batting an eyelid.

Couldn’t she act even just a bit jealous?!

They ate in silence before they went to his room. He watched bitterly as she blankly arranged their study items.

One of the things he knew about her was that she had professional ethics, making out with him notwithstanding.

If he kept bothering her while she was doing her job, maybe she’d hate him and maybe even his parents wouldn’t be able to convince her back.

He couldn’t risk it.

So he sucked it up and tried relatively hard to listen to her lectures.

"The velocity of this train depends on…

"The car going at this speed, relative to the car, would…

"The wavelength of infrared light could cause it to…

It was just that she had been so…unchanged that after half-an-hour of studying, he finally couldn’t take it anymore.

He grabbed her hand so suddenly that she dropped her pink pen.

Khalifa’s eyes stared at her pen, giving him a sideways glance, frowning at the obstruction.

"What is it?"

The apathy in her voice only made Jacob even more annoyed.

"That’s it? We’re not going to talk about what... happened?"

Her eyebrows furrowed, as if genuinely confused. "What?"

"We kissed!!" He exclaimed, low voice cracking, aghast.

They not only kissed, they almost did the deed!

How dare she—

Khalifa crossed her arms in response. "So?"

"You—" He rummaged his head for a classy insult that just meant ’idiot’ when his eyes caught sight of her painted lips.

Khalifa never wore makeup before...

At this thought, his anger popped like it didn’t happen.

"Makeup? You wore makeup for me?" He asked, but his tone was certain.

Khalifa looked at him as if he was an idiot. "I just didn’t take it off."

He didn’t think much of it. At least, it was what he told himself.

"You must’ve had something at school, then…" He said, answering for her.

"No, I had to look pretty."

His fist clenched a little and jaw tightened, but he was patient enough, at least for her. "Why? What’s the occasion? If you… don’t mind me asking."

"My new job."

His shoulders slumped in relief. "I thought you had a date or something…"

"It wasn’t earlier but I did have a date last night…"

His happy face immediately distorted into anger. "What?! Did you have a date?"

She frowned at his outburst, not bothering to explain. She really did have another man no less than 24 hours prior. "Even if I did, does it matter to you?"

Angry, he grabbed her and pulled her to him, capturing her lips and applying everything she taught him.

He ignored her weak struggle and continued to kiss, slurping and licking, until she finally gave up her struggles and wrapped her arm around his neck.

Encouraged, he lifted her up to sit on the table, placing himself between her legs.

He dragged her thigh closer to him, so their privates were connected through the clothes, continuing where they left off.

He parted his lips with her and placed their foreheads together, their hot breaths spraying to the other.

For a while, they just remained like that, feeling each other’s warmth.

"It matters." He said.

"It shouldn’t." She told him outright. "You’re not the only man I kiss."

He stared at her in disbelief. "What?"

"You’re not the only one I kiss."

Veins popped in his head. He swore he just had a mini-aneurysm. "I heard—" He closed his eyes, exhaling, inhaling, exhaling again.

"Now… why would you kiss so many people?"

"Because they kiss me."

"You kiss anyone who kisses you?"

She scoffed. "Of course not, I have to like him first."

Jacob paused and looked at her. Did this mean she liked him, too?

Khalifa saw this and wrapped her arms around him. She thought, she better tell him everything now and cover everything with a single outburst.

With her cute mouth next to his ear, she whispered, "I lost my virginity last night."

He finally saw red. "Youuu!" He exclaimed, large hands on her shoulder. "Are you a slut?"

While expecting the anger, it still annoyed her.

"What? Oh, am I?" Calling her slut in bed was endearment, Jacob meant it as an insult.

Jacob seemed to have noticed his own gaffe, and his anger deflated and replaced with guilt. "No, I—"

She sneered and gestured to escape his clutches when he just hugged her tighter.

"Fine! I’m fine!"

Just don’t go…

He felt the boy shaking from anger and fear and she couldn’t help but sigh, pitying the milk dog.

She comfortingly patted his head and placed a kiss on his cheeks. "You forgot your promise."

She said and he was reminded that he promised not to be clingy with her.

Jacob glared at her bitterly.

At the time, he just thought it just meant not to call or text her often!

How was he supposed to imagine she was promiscuous?!

"If you can’t keep that promise, I—"

She was stopped by Jacob’s lips on hers, swallowing her words, never to be uttered.

Their eyes met and Jacob took a moment to make a decision.

"Can we do it?" He asked directly. "Have sex."

She played with his hair. "You’re not the only one."

He gritted his teeth, pushing down the pain. "Yes."

Khalifa smiled and gave him a deep kiss. "Very good." She said, "Then, I will also teach you."

Seeing her smile, all of Jacob’s indignance disappears. At this moment, all he had was her in his eyes.

He leaned down and gave her a deep kiss, tasting her mouth, taking in all that he could.

When they parted, he looked straight to those beautiful orbs of hers.

"Then teach me thoroughly."
