Legendary Battle Pet

Chapter 33 Cure

The method to heal the main meridian on its back was exactly described in the book "How to curre all Battle Pet Health 99 Questions."

Ethen Cole felt a surge of excitement and quickly said to Rashid Ahmad, "Senior, I can heal your Glacier Arctic Bear."

Hearing Ethen Cole's words, Rashid Ahmad was taken aback, his eyes widening in disbelief. A freshman claiming to be able to heal the injuries of an Glacier Arctic Bear? How could that be possible?

It's important to note that Rashid Ahmad had consulted numerous Battle Pet doctors to treat the bear. However, the doctors were all powerless, unable even to determine the exact nature of the injuries sustained by the Glacier Arctic Bear. Without an accurate diagnosis, treatment was naturally impossible.

For years, Rashid Ahmad had desperately wanted to cure his battle pet but had been powerless to do so.

Now, Ethen Cole claimed he could treat it, which was clearly an exaggeration!

"Classmate Ethen Cole, thank you for your kind intentions. However, the illness of my battle pet is quite peculiar and cannot be treated by a student like you..."

Rashid Ahmad shook his head, a hint of disappointment appearing in his eyes. He hadn't expected that Ethen Cole, who had shown such promise, would turn out to be someone who just boasted without substance.

Instantly, most of his enthusiasm for advising Ethen Cole was extinguished. Rashid Ahmad waved his hand, intending to show him out.

But at that moment, Ethen Cole spoke up: "Ever since the Glacier Arctic Bear was injured, on the 15th of every month at midnight, it experiences unbearable pain, doesn't it?"

"Since the Glacier Arctic Bear got injured, every time it trains for a short while, its eyes become unbearably painful, and only by stopping the training does the pain gradually subside, correct?"

"For at least three years, there have been traces of blood mixed in the Glacier Arctic Bear's feces, and the better it eats, the more blood there is, isn't that so?"

Ethen Cole accurately pointed out the symptoms of the Glacier Arctic Bear. Hearing his words, Rashid Ahmad's breathing became suddenly rapid.

He was completely taken aback that this freshman actually understood veterinary medicine. Moreover, the symptoms he described were incredibly accurate, leaving no room for error.

Although Rashid Ahmad was not knowledgeable in veterinary practices, he understood that when a veterinary doctor examines a battle pet, numerous checks are needed beforehand to possibly diagnose the condition.

However, Ethen Cole merely glanced at the Glacier Arctic Bear and accurately identified the symptoms. No doctor that Rashid Ahmad had consulted before had ever achieved this.

"Could I have been mistaken? Is it possible that this student, Ethen Cole, is actually a battle pet doctor with exceptional medical skills?"

Suddenly, a rather improbable thought emerged in Rashid Ahmad's mind. Under different circumstances, if someone had claimed that an 18 year old university student was a battle pet doctor, Rashid Ahmad would have dismissed it as nonsense.

But now, the facts were undeniable, leaving him no choice but to believe.

Gulp.

Rashid Ahmad swallowed hard and, in a somewhat shaky voice, asked, "Ethen Cole, are you really a battle pet doctor?"

Upon hearing this, Ethen Cole smiled.

"In fact, I'm not a battle pet doctor myself. It's just that I have an elder who is a battle pet doctor, and I've picked up some knowledge from them, which just happened to help me recognize the illness of your battle pet."

Hearing this explanation, Rashid Ahmad nodded heavily. He accepted Ethen Cole's explanation.

Ethen Cole, noticing that Rashid Ahmad believed him, chuckled inwardly. He had managed to get away with mentioning a non existent "elder."

"Then, could I ask your elder to examine my battle pet? I'm willing to pay any price."

Rashid Ahmad asked eagerly. He genuinely cared about his battle pet. If curing the Glacier Arctic Bear was possible, he wouldn't hesitate to spend his entire fortune.

"Um, my elder has passed away..."

Ethen Cole almost broke into a cold sweat, quickly feigning a sigh with a look of lament. Passed away? A shadow of gloom flickered in Rashid Ahmad's eyes.

Finally encountering someone who seemed to be a miraculous doctor, only to find out that the doctor had passed away, was fate playing a cruel joke on him, Rashid Ahmad?

He felt a deep sense of regret. But just then, Ethen Cole's clear voice broke the silence.

"Sir, I happen to know the treatment method for this illness. If you can trust me, I am willing to give it a try!"

His words stirred a storm of emotions in Rashid Ahmad's heart. After consulting numerous renowned doctors who couldn't find a cure, could this young man truly succeed?

It was impossible for Rashid Ahmad not to have doubts.

However, he saw a confident gleam in Ethen Cole's eyes.

Feeling an inexplicable sense of reassurance, Rashid Ahmad decided to take a chance.

"Alright, then I'll trouble you, Ethen Cole. Whether the treatment is successful or not, I will remember your kindness," said Rashid Ahmad.

"Deal!" Ethen Cole rejoiced inwardly.

Convincing Rashid Ahmad meant he could finally put his skills to the test. Thinking about completing the task of treating the Glacier Arctic Bear and earning the precious battle pet egg made Ethen Cole's heart tremble with excitement.

Ethen Cole knew very well the value of a battle pet egg.

"This time, I must cure the Glacier Arctic Bear. The battle pet egg is mine for the taking!" Ethen Cole thought to himself.

Of course, his willingness to treat Rashid Ahmad's battle pet wasn't solely for the sake of completing a task; it was also influenced by his favorable impression of Rashid Ahmad.

After all, not everyone could have a heartfelt conversation with a younger person from an experienced perspective.

Rashid Ahmad's kindness and enthusiasm had also moved Ethen Cole.

"Time is of the essence. Let's begin now," Ethen Cole suggested.

"Alright."

Rashid Ahmad immediately locked the office door to prevent any interruptions.
