Chapter 41 Choose A Club
Fattah Amin also took a few more glances at the little guy.
"This person is no ordinary character. With such an appetite, his Qi and blood strength must be extremely robust..." Ethen Cole thought to himself.
By the time Ethen Cole and his friends' meals were ready, the chubby little guy had already finished the remaining three rice bowls. Now, his table was stacked high with dishes, looking quite extravagant.
"Ah, I'm full..."
The little guy patted his belly and let out a satisfied burp. It was then that he noticed the three people at the next table staring intently at him. Feeling a bit embarrassed, the little guy scratched his head.
"Hey, guys, no need to be so surprised, okay? I just have a slightly larger appetite than most people."
Hearing his words, Ethen Cole and his friends couldn't help but have an internal chuckle. Eating ten servings in one sitting, calling that "a bit larger" is quite the understatement, isn't it?
However, they wouldn't say that out loud and instead offered friendly smiles to the little guy. Having had an extraordinary appetite since childhood, the little guy was concerned about being ridiculed. He nodded to them and began to leave.
Thud.
A sound of something dropping to the floor was heard. As the little guy stood up, his student ID, which had been tucked in his pocket, accidentally fell to the ground.
"Hey, your ID fell," Ethen Cole called out to him.
Ethen Cole quickly picked up the student ID.
"My mistake, thank you. How should I address you?" the chubby guy turned around and politely expressed his gratitude as he took back the student ID.
"I'm Ethen Cole, a freshman this year," Ethen Cole introduced himself, and then pointed to Fattah Amin and Hakimi Nil, who were still seated and eating. "Those two are my roommates, also freshmen."
"You guys are freshmen too?"
The chubby guy exclaimed in delight and quickly said, "Hello, Ethen Cole, I'm Bob Mali. Nice to meet you all."
As he spoke, he opened his student ID to show Ethen Cole. What caught Ethen Cole's eye was a photo of Bob Mali looking as skinny as a lightning bolt.
"That photo is definitely edited..." Ethen Cole thought to himself, chuckling inwardly as he continued to look.
However, when he saw the text in the bottom section of the student ID, he was suddenly taken aback.
"503!"
Bob Mali's assigned dormitory was also 503!
"Roommate! Fattah Amin, Hakim Nil, come quickly and see; Bob Mali is our final roommate!"
Upon hearing this, Fattah Amin and Hakim Nil immediately put down their chopsticks and came over. Bob Mali was extremely surprised. He hadn't expected to meet his roommates in the canteen.
Thus, the four brothers of Dormitory 503 were finally assembled. Once Ethen Cole and the others finished their meal, the four of them walked back to the dormitory together.
Along the way, they shared their ages with one another. They then ranked themselves according to age. The eldest in the dormitory was Fattah Amin, the oldest among them.
The second oldest was the chubby Bob Mali. The third in line was the free spirited Hakim Nil. Ethen Cole, being the youngest, became the fourth.
Ethen Cole was quite content with his position. He could sense the care and camaraderie from his other three roommates through their interactions.
Each of these roommates was a unique talent, and Ethen Cole recognized that there was much he could learn from them.
The establishment of the rankings among the four brothers was exhilarating. Fattah Amin, as the appointed eldest, went to the campus store to buy a case of drinks.
Carrying the box and flanked by his three brothers, he returned to Dormitory 503. Inside the dormitory, the four of them gathered in a circle, engaging in lively conversation.
Soon, they gained a deeper understanding of one another. Ethen Cole learned that, apart from Fattah Amin, the local son of a wealthy merchant, both the second and third brothers also came from notable backgrounds.
Among the four, Ethen Cole had the most modest upbringing. However, he did not feel inferior because of this; instead, it fueled his determination to become stronger.
"Since the campus has arranged such excellent roommates for me, I must work even harder to keep up with them!" Ethen Cole vowed to himself.
As they chatted, the topic among the four shifted to joining clubs. Ethen Cole immediately perked up his ears. He was eager to hear what his dormitory brothers thought about joining student clubs.
"There's something you may not know: at our Campus, the top student organizations are the Five Major Societies.
These Five Major Societies are: the Justice Society, the Veterinary Society, the Love and Care Club, the Adventure Society, and the Campus Protection Club. Truly talented individuals are most drawn to these Five Major Societies."
The chubby boy, Bob Mali, seemed very knowledgeable about clubs and spoke eloquently about them.
"The Justice Club is essentially the student organization responsible for law enforcement on campus, emphasizing fairness and order."
"The Veterinary Society, as the name suggests, is a group formed by pet doctors. To join this society, you must have a talent for medical skills."
"The Love and Care Club mainly focuses on assisting vulnerable groups and is involved in a lot of charitable work."
"The Adventure Club and the Campus Protection Club are both strong in practical application. One often organizes outdoor adventures, while the other is responsible for security around the Campus, offering opportunities to hone practical skills."
"Yes, that's exactly right," agreed Fattah Amin, the eldest in the dormitory, nodding his head.
It was evident that he was quite knowledgeable about this matter as well.
"It seems Brother Fattah knows quite a bit. Which Clubare you most interested in?" the chubby guy asked with a chuckle.
Upon hearing this, Hakim Nil and Ethen Cole also turned their attention to Fattah Amin.
