Chapter 235 End of the training!
2 days had passed by since Lucas came near the boss monster. With him was the fire girl, Sarah.
Lucas was sitting outside the circle looking at the movements of the Boss monster while it fought with someone.
Someone Lucas knew and had bonded with recently.
The guy fell in his shadow only to come out of another inside the circle and still could not do anything.
The skeleton's movements may be repetitive or even robust yet they did the work of protecting the chest very well.
Frustrated for fighting for a few minutes now, BIll vanished and appeared right at the side of Lucas who was panting on his own.
"Damn bastard is cheating, How could it know where I am coming from when nobody can look in the shadows!"
Lucas chuckled while glancing at the back, there was the girl he liked, fighting with a ground element Hound.
It was not a normal fight, she had started to use things Lucas wanted to see her use, new abilities to some extent.
Sarah had her eyes closed yet there was still a red glow that could be seen through the eyelid. It looked like she could see even after closing her eyes.
Her hand weaved into different positions multiple times when a small ball of fire formed in front of her. It compressed and compressed until it looked like a small ball of solidified fire, lava as it was now in a liquid state.
The hound was not able to do anything as it was bound to the ground with vines. Multiple vines at that which the hound was not able to break with how sturdy they were.
"Good job with tying those ropes."
"Yeah, well. They were made by you so I can't take the whole credit."

"Sure you can."
"Sure I will then."
Lucas glanced at Sarah with warmth seeing her cook up her skill to such an extent.
What was unique about her skill in this case was that she was not using her hand as the carrier for the skill.
The ball of molten lava was floating in the air on its own without any external help except for the mana.
Soon, the molten lava moved away from her slowly and when it was close to the hound, she made it lose the strength to float and the lava fell over the hound's head.
Even Lucas could tell that it was a gruesome death but a clean one. The lava made the brain cook so much just from the outside that it was dead before the lava could do anything much worse.
Sarah came toward them and saw them both looking in her direction. Her inner shyness came out as she averted her gaze multiple times thinking why they were staring at her while she was walking toward them to begin with.
Lucas couldn't even get up with how tired he was, his stamina had increased by a few points since he started training and with only a few hours of sleep in the whole two days fighting the boss.
"That new skill of yours has increased in proficiency since before yet it is still very time-consuming and inefficient. You need to reduce the time."
"I know and it's coming to me with every increase in proficiency and levels. Don't worry, I will improve before you kill that monster."
"I can kill it anytime I want, I just don't want to. It's a good training for us too, right?"
Lucas grinned and kept his arm around Bill's shoulder making him slump down with force.
"Not for me, I specialize in killing within seconds, this bone bastard is not what I specialize in."
"Is this what you have been thinking from the inside? Wake up, kid! It is time for us to surpass our limits! Let's GO!!"
Suddenly, something came into Lucas, and after saying something ridiculous to Bill. He got up and with a shout, entered the circle again.
The skeleton as always dashed the second he entered not giving him any time yet Lucas was ready.
First came the horizontal strike that Lucas deflected with the strength of both of his swords, then came the strike that he made that went inside the rib and came back within time.
Nothing happened to the skeleton yet it was the practice of making decisions quickly and implementing them right when they are needed in a fast fight such as this one.
Next came another few slashes that Lucas ate without any problem, this kept on going for a few more hours when finally Lucas in the spur of the moment got the skeleton right under the skull where the neck ended.
Something he wasn't able to do before in any of the attempts.
He knew he was still tired yet he persisted, it was the only way to increase his stamina just by a little.
The points in stats only increased on their own when something very dangerous happened to the body. It was the way of the system to tell the person that they broke through their mortal limits.
Lucas found fun in this misery, it was not something he could do when he was on Earth, as doing this was only going to make him get admitted to a hospital.@@novelbin@@
But the system while being bad in almost all ways had this rewarding facility that Lucas could not help but be happy about.
When he had touched the area under the skull completely before moving back and not getting stabbed, he went outside the circle again.
"That… was the only way I saw it die with only my strength and the swords. It didn't work…" Luca said in between deep breaths, not succumbing to his pain in the lungs.
"Does that mean we can't kill it?" Sarah asked with concern, in her mind, all the hard work that Lucas did had gone down the drain.
"Hm? What is that about? Now it's time to kill. Wait for a few seconds."
Lucas went inside the circle again and his swords, which had gone dull and chipped all over started giving off a sharp aura. It was transparent yet could still be seen by the naked eye.
"Time for you to go now, big boy."
What do you think?
