Chapter 237 Shelter's upgrade options
In the skill area, Lucas looked inside and found 5 choices and frowned.
"There were 10 choices before."
"Yeah, but this chest is so much lower quality than that one."
"Oh, I remember, it was shining gold and this rotten is wood."

"The skills are alright this time," Lucas said with disappointment written all over his face.
"What do you mean alright? Do you see that siege skill? Can't that help us with raids and for the shelter?" Bill asked with dumbfoundedness.
"Yeah, I am going to take that one but other than that, there aren't many that we already In some way don't have."
"But this healing one, don't you think you should get that?"
"… Don't tell the others right now, but I a very near to manufacturing healing potions," Lucuas said with a sigh, there was no point in saying something dumb or lying his way when everyone there could be trusted.
"That will be a game changer, this way, I won't have problems in being out in the wild for more than seven days, that is my limit before I have to come back and get healed. But why don't you want any other to know?"
"I didn't know about that. Guess I have to make them quickly. As for not telling others, its because I don't want to give false hopes till I can make it completely. Right, Sarah?"
Lucas glanced at her and could not help but be confused, her eyes were wide while looking at one of the papers inside the chest.
"What is it?"
"This!" She shouted while pointing at a paper.
Lucas looked at it and then frowned, it was not something he was imagining.
"That's just Thunder strike, you already have a skill related to that, the summoning one."
"Yeah but at my level, the summons I can call are just balls of electricity that can't even do anything but follow me around. With this skill, I would be able to use electricity In them to use this skill!"
Lucas thought about it for some time and then, he realized it too.
"Why didn't I think about this!? You are right, get this skill, quick!" Lucas said dramatically and Sarah just nodded in seriousness making Bill believe that he was the only sensible person there.
Lucas picked the siege one and kept it in his pocket for now. Sarah took the thunder strike one and learned it right at the spot.
As for Bill, he looked at the skills one more time before he got his.
"Foraging?"
"Yeah, it will help me in the wild, coming back for food again and again seems dumb."
"You know it's the same but inferior version of my herbalist skill, right?"
"Ugh, don't rub the wounds."
Lucas and the others picked random weapons out of the chest before they disappeared, these weapons were inferior to every one of the weapons they already had.
There were none of the ones that increased elemental proficiency which Sarah needed but in the end, the trip was very fruitful.
They started moving back while Lucas kept looking at the skill he just got in his hand.
"Do you want to learn it?" Sarah asked with curiosity.
"I am thinking about I but… guess no one would need it in the shelter."
SCREE
The paper was torn and Lucas got the skill.
[Skill 'Siege Summoning' gained]
"I am tempted to activate it…"
Bill suddenly came out of the shadows and started to walk with them without saying anything.
"If you want to see it being used, just say it."
"… I don't want to."
"Well, I am going to use it."
Before Lucas could think of using it, A hand fell on his shoulders.
"Are you sure, this place doesn't look like the ideal one to test something like this."
Bill clicked his tongue in disapproval seeing Sarah ruin his plans of entertainment.
Lucas looked around and saw that there was nothing but trees and plants around and nothing more. He wanted to say that he would use it but seeing how Sarah went out of her way to remark.
Lucas just let it slide and started to move again.

Bill stayed with them for only a few more seconds before falling inside a neighboring shadow.
For 2 days straight, they traveled with only a few camps before reaching the shelter.
In the whole way, Lucas had seen a lot of creatures and after taking care of some and leaving some for the forest's betterment, he was finally there.
"Welcome home." Ella said with a dazzling smile before hugging Sarah welcome.
Lucas looked at the interaction with a smile before he felt a nudge in his knee.
ROAARR…(Welcome!)
"Haha, always weird but thanks, buddy." Lucas crouched down and gave Duke some face scratches making the animal lay and show its belly to him soon.
He was in a good mood so giving some belly rubs didn't seem like a bad idea until the damn thing farted.
What do you think?
