Lord of the Time: I Can Reincarnate Infinitely

Chapter 467 467: Four Arms

As the Earth Team set foot on Zantos, a group of Ufotan staff quickly briefed them on the dos and don'ts. "First, no aggressive behavior or public display of your powers. It's seen as a threat here, and you'll get nabbed by security," one staff member explained, her eyes scanning the group.

"Second, respect all cultural symbols and monuments. Vandalism or disrespect is heavily penalized," she continued, pointing towards a towering statue that seemed to be a revered figure.

"Third, trade or exchange only in designated areas. Black market dealings are cracked down upon severely here."

"Fourth, keep your ID badges visible at all times. It helps with identification and prevents unnecessary complications with local law enforcement," another staff member chimed in.

"Fifth, consumption of local foods is fine, but some might not suit human biology. Stick to verified eateries," he added, handing out a list of recommended places.

"Lastly, no unauthorized spaceport access. You need special clearance to enter those areas, and trespassing can lead to immediate expulsion or worse."

The staff then emphasized the need to return to the ship within three hours. "The spaceship is scheduled for a vital maintenance check and refuel before we head to the next galaxy. Missing the departure window will delay the entire mission."

As the team ventured onto the streets of Zantos, their curiosity was piqued by everything around them. The bustling metropolis was filled with a variety of aliens, though humanoid forms were predominantly seen. Despite the diversity, humans still formed the majority, moving about their business, interacting with alien technologies and beings seamlessly.

Caleb, observing the scene, muttered, "Fucking tourist trip, this. Look at all these humanoids. You'd think in a galaxy this big, we'd see more... I don't know, tentacle monsters or something."

The Earth Team, taking full advantage of their time on Zantos, dived into exploring everything they could. They tried out local delicacies that looked like glowing orbs but tasted like sweet, juicy fruits. They experimented with gadgets in tech shops that floated, spun, and changed color based on mood.

While they were engrossed in this exploration, a dark-skinned alien kid with striking yellow eyes and six mist-like tentacles approached them. "Hey, visitors, wanna see something amazing only found on Zantos?" he asked, his voice lilting and enticing.

Alex and Leo, ever curious and slightly naive, were instantly hooked. "Sure, kid, show us what you've got," Leo responded, his guard down.

The kid produced a small, shimmering stone. "This is a Zantonian crystal. It's rare, and I can let it go for a good price," he said, his tentacles waving the stone, making it sparkle mesmerizingly.

Alex, fascinated, reached for his wallet, exchanging some currency for the stone. "This will be a great souvenir," he beamed, convinced of the stone's authenticity and value.

As soon as the transaction was done, the kid vanished into the crowd, leaving behind a trail of misty tentacles that dissolved into thin air.

When Caleb caught up with them, he noticed the stone and raised an eyebrow. "You guys got scammed by a kid? That's just a polished rock, not a rare crystal."

Leo and Alex, surprised, asked how he knew. Caleb, shaking his head in amusement, explained, "First off, real Zantonian crystals don't look anything like that. They're less shiny and more solid. Second, no street kid would have access to something as valuable as that. And those misty tentacles? Classic distraction technique."

Alex and Leo looked at each other, realization dawning on their faces. "Shit, we fell for it," Alex groaned, feeling foolish.

Caleb chuckled, "Consider it a lesson in street smarts, guys. On planets like this, scammers prey on tourists all the time. You gotta be more careful."

After the scam incident, the Earth Team was heading out when a massive, three-meter tall alien with four muscular arms, six yellow eyes, and vivid purple skin blocked their path. The alien sneered, its voice booming, "Look at these weak Earthlings, strutting around like they own the place."

Caleb's eyes narrowed as he stepped forward, ready to confront the bigot. "Got a problem, big guy?" he asked, his tone sharp.

The alien laughed, a sound that rumbled through the street. "Yeah, your kind doesn't belong here. You're inferior, weak."

As tensions rose, the alien, fueled by contempt, swung one of its massive arms towards Mia, aiming a fist at her. Reacting swiftly, Mia dodged, but the punch landed on a nearby building, shattering it like glass. The structure crumbled, fire sparking from ruptured lines, and debris scattered around, painting a scene of destruction.

Caleb, enraged by the attack, stepped in. "You wanna see weak, you fucking piece of shit?" he growled, ready to retaliate.

The alien, undeterred, roared and charged, its four arms swinging wildly. Its strength was immense, every blow causing shockwaves, cracking the pavement, and causing chaos in the surrounding area.

As the fight ensued, it was clear the alien's power was formidable; his strikes were like cannon blasts, capable of demolishing structures and causing havoc.@@novelbin@@

The battle intensified, with the alien's brute force wreaking havoc. Caleb, analyzing his opponent's movements, found his moment to strike. Like a snake, he darted forward, slipping beneath the alien's guard. He wrapped around the creature with a swift, leech-like grip, his arms encircling its massive frame in a tight headlock.

"Gotcha, you big fucker," Caleb hissed into the alien's ear, his body coiled around the massive frame, squeezing with calculated pressure. His legs entwined with the alien's lower limbs to immobilize them, every muscle in Caleb's body working to maintain the hold, cutting off the alien's oxygen and blood flow.

In a bold move, Caleb initiated a fusion with the alien. The process was intense; the air around them crackled with energy as Caleb absorbed the alien's genetic material. The team and onlookers watched in stunned silence as physical changes manifested rapidly.

Caleb's body morphed, gaining four additional yellow eyes around his forehead, giving him a 360-degree field of vision. Two powerful, muscular arms sprouted from his sides, mirroring the alien's four-armed physique. His aura darkened, becoming more menacing, a palpable force of intimidation that made even the bravest onlookers step back in fear.
