Chapter 6200: The One Who Witnessed a Legend’s Birth

“Got it.”

The woman in a white dress dissipated the projection with a wave of her hand.

“Looks like the Asura Spirit World is still as chaotic as ever,” the black-robed woman remarked.

“Where there is life, there will never be true peace. However, there can be relative peace if someone relatively fair calls the shot,” the woman in a white dress replied.

“The Asura Spirit World may find peace if Lord Xing Jue conquers it,” the black-robed woman said.

The woman in a white dress neither affirmed nor denied those words. “I’ll be heading back first. I’ll leave this place to you. There wouldn’t have been the Massacre Sea if not for your capability. You have worked hard over the years. Have a good rest when you return.”

The black-robed woman suddenly spoke up, “Milord, I told you I had a regret when I first agreed to come here.”

“Yes, I remember asking if there is anything I can do to help you, but you replied that you’ll tell me after accomplishing your mission at the Massacre Sea. Are you planning to tell me what it is now?” the woman in a white dress asked.

“My regret was not having met the two lords earlier and serving you two since your time in that realm, just like the Blood Clan. I can’t make up for that regret, but I can decide the future. I want to continue serving milord, regardless of who is in control of the Asura Spirit World and whether it is at peace or not.

“Milord, even though I have accomplished my mission here, I wish to continue serving you in the Asura Spirit World. Please entrust me with your most dangerous mission. I won’t let you down,” the black-robed woman said.

The woman in a white dress smiled. “I understand. The Asura Spirit World welcomes you back.”

She took a deep look at Chu Feng and Eggy before stepping into the spirit formation gate.

After Chu Feng and Eggy re-established their contract, they left this realm and returned to the Immemorial Massacre Sea. Instead of returning to Chu Feng’s World Spirit Space, Eggy chose to fly alongside Chu Feng above the sea as they headed out.

Even though Chu Feng’s fighting prowess had taken a dip and Eggy was injured, both of them were in excellent moods.

Eggy, in particular, was very satisfied with the outcome. She had some guesses about the earlier situation, and while she couldn’t confirm her conjecture, she thought there was a good chance her guess was on the mark.

“Eggy, are you truly fine?” Chu Feng asked.

The Asura Sword had told him earlier that Eggy was in terrible shape, but she looked unharmed right now. He had inspected her body, but he couldn’t find any anomalies in her.

Her cultivation had also risen from rank one True God to rank two True God level. This matter appeared to be a blessing in disguise for her.

“I am fine. Worry about yourself instead. Are you sure your bloodline can make a full recovery?” Eggy asked.

“You don’t need to worry about my bloodline; it’s only a matter of time before I make a full recovery. Eggy, this Immemorial Massacre Sea seems to be connected to the Asura Spirit World. Its master must be a formidable world spiritist, but I wonder what their goal is since they didn’t reveal their identities. Did they create this place just to benefit the later generations?”

“I don’t know. You should try asking that black metal lump instead. It might know something,” Eggy replied.

“Black metal lump?” Chu Feng was confused.

“I’m talking about the Asura Sword. Oi, black metal lump, why don’t you say something? Why are you acting all cold and lofty again? You were so talkative earlier,” Eggy shouted.

But the Asura Sword didn’t answer. It was as if it was just a normal sword.

Chu Feng felt a little gleeful when he thought about the Asura Sword. He wouldn’t have been able to free the Immortal Sea Fish Clan if not for the help he had received from the Asura Sword when dealing with the God Clan.

It was his first time experiencing the Asura Sword’s prowess, and it was beyond his imagination.

That slash he unleashed had decimated the God Mother, but from what he had felt from the Asura Sword in that instant, that was only a fraction of its power. To draw an analogy, it was similar to how tsunamis could wreak havoc, but even that was just a glimpse of the vast ocean.

The Asura Sword lived up to its reputation as the Asura Spirit World’s strongest sword. How could Chu Feng not feel gleeful when he had such a weapon with him?

“I received unexpected gains this time, and it’s all thanks to Milady Queen,” Chu Feng said as he took out a scroll emanating a black aura—Bloodline Soul Puppet.

Meanwhile, the black-robed woman was still observing Chu Feng and Eggy.

Regret flickered across her eyes when Chu Feng took out the Bloodline Soul Puppet scroll, knowing how valuable it was. Its value was nowhere compared to the Asura Sword, but the Asura Sword did not belong to Chu Feng, whereas the scroll would be Chu Feng’s if he used it.

Bloodline Soul Puppet was a Shahun Clan’s secret skill that had never been taught to an outsider. Even within the clan, it could only be obtained by highly talented clansmen who had cleared an arduous test.

The criteria were extremely strict because this secret skill couldn’t be passed down verbally.

The special energy contained inside the scroll was the key to learning the secret skill, and each scroll could only be used once regardless of whether the individual grasped the secret skill or not.

But there was a limited number of scrolls, and the Shahun Clan didn’t have many left. That prompted them to be even more prudent about giving out the scroll, making it hard to acquire even one.

Both her lords could have taken this scroll for themselves—and it would have been beneficial to them too—but the woman in a white dress gave it to Chu Feng.

This pained her heart.

“Is this the scroll you obtained from clearing the trial?” Eggy took the scroll from Chu Feng’s hands and tried to unfurl it, but it refused to open. “Why can’t it be opened?”

“Indeed.” Chu Feng nodded in affirmation.

“How do you know it’s beneficial to your bloodline if you can’t open it?” Eggy asked.

The black-robed woman’s eyes gleamed in surprise.

Chu Feng took the scroll back. “That’s just the tip of the iceberg. Once I fuse it with my bloodline, with sufficiently potent materials, I can construct a soul puppet out of my bloodline. That is the true worth of this secret skill.”

“Oh? Is that the same as constructing a clone?” Eggy was slightly confused.

“Not just any clone. You’ll know how incredible it is in the future,” Chu Feng replied.

“Keeping me in suspense? Well, it’s all good as long as it’s useful,” Eggy replied with a smile. @@novelbin@@

The black-robed woman, on the other hand, was flabbergasted.

What Chu Feng had just divulged was the scroll’s contents, but it should have been impossible to decipher the scroll’s contents before inheriting its energy. She only knew about Bloodline Soul Puppet’s true prowess after gaining some understanding of the Shahun Clan.

How did Chu Feng learn all these details?

Surely Shahun Haotian couldn’t have secretly told Chu Feng while they were crossing blows?

…

Eggy stared at Chu Feng’s scroll in curiosity. “So, you already know its cultivation method?”

“Only the rough idea. I’ll have to assimilate the scroll to know the details,” Chu Feng replied.

“Assimilate the scroll? Is it some kind of hereditary martial skill?” Eggy asked.

“You can think of it that way,” Chu Feng replied.

He placed the scroll in front of him while making his way out of the Immemorial Massacre Sea. The scroll turned into a black aura that surged into Chu Feng’s head.

The black-robed woman widened her eyes in shock. She continued to look dumbfounded even after Chu Feng completely absorbed all the black aura. It was a long time later before she finally snapped out of it and came to terms with reality.

“I wonder how many Shahun Clansmen will believe me if I tell them about this.”

She knew how difficult it was to assimilate with the black scroll, yet Chu Feng pulled it off with ease. This was unheard of in the Shahun Clan.

This prompted her to look at Chu Feng with expectant eyes.

“Can a new legend truly emerge in the world of cultivation? Will we usher in an unprecedented existence in this era? Doesn’t that make me a witness of a new legend’s birth? Chu Feng, could that person be you?”
