Chapter 6201: The Bloodline Soul Puppet’s Materials

Chu Feng didn’t slow his speed of advancement even after absorbing the black aura, but he fell silent for a short while.@@novelbin@@

Eggy didn’t disturb him, knowing he had gone into a special state. She could tell as much from Chu Feng’s excitement that Bloodline Soul Puppet was an extraordinary means.

But Chu Feng didn’t remain in that state for too long.

As soon as he snapped out of it, Eggy asked, “How is it? Have you grasped the skill yet?”

“I have grasped it. This secret skill is indeed beneficial to the recovery of my bloodline. It will still take time to make a full recovery, but it will be much faster than before. It’s only a matter of time before I regain what I have lost.

“What I look forward to more is the clone, the Bloodline Soul Puppet, but I’ll have to first gather materials for it,” Chu Feng replied.

“You grasped it so quickly? I guess it isn’t as formidable as I thought,” Eggy replied.

“No, this secret skill isn’t weak by any measure. It shouldn’t have been that easy to grasp it. Perhaps I am fated with it?” Chu Feng remarked with a tinge of glee.

He could tell how complicated the secret skill was, but for some reason, he was able to grasp it with ease. Other than fate, he could find no other reason to explain this anomaly.

“What materials do you require?” Eggy asked.

“I need something extremely sturdy,” Chu Feng replied.

“You can begin forging once you have the materials?”

“That’s right.”

The black-robed woman, who had been secretly observing them, shook her head. She hadn’t expected Chu Feng to be a braggart.

Chu Feng might have assimilated the black aura in record time, but understanding the secret skill was a whole new matter. This was no ordinary secret skill. He would need to study the secret skill over a long time to comprehend the intricacies of forging a Bloodline Soul Puppet.

Just then, Chu Feng suddenly stopped. He took out a God Armament and placed it before him.

“God Armaments are made out of sturdy materials too. Let me see if I can use it for the forging.”

Chu Feng placed his palms together and formed a hand seal. He closed his eyes, and his body began to tremble, especially his hands. He pointed a finger at the God Armament and released a surge of black aura mixed with nine-colored lightning.

“It can’t be! Has he already grasped the basics of the forging process?”

The black-robed woman rubbed her eyes in disbelief.

When the black aura mixed with nine-colored lightning enveloped the God Armament, the God Armament immediately melted.

The black-robed woman felt goosebumps all over. This proved that Chu Feng had truly grasped the Bloodline Soul Puppet’s forging method.

It had taken the Shahun Clan’s Clan Chief, Shahun Haotian’s grandfather, ten thousand years before he grasped Bloodline Soul Puppet. Yet, Chu Feng pulled it off in a matter of moments.

Chu Feng might be talented, but the Shahun Clan’s Clan Chief was also a prodigy who awed the Asura Spirit World back in his time! Could there be such a huge gap between prodigies?

“Is this a failure?” Eggy asked.

Energy had dissipated from the melted God Armament, reducing it to a heap of scrap metal. Clearly, something had gone wrong.

“Yes, it’s a failure. I didn’t expect even a God Armament to be insufficient.”

Chu Feeng was surprised too. Only a material that could withstand the black aura tinged with nine-colored lightning could be used for the forging of the Bloodline Soul Puppet.

Next, he whipped out a God Armament spear.

This was the spear he had taken from Huangyu Shengyu. This God Armament contained a ‘True’ character, which was a testament to its superior quality.

He had previously refrained from using this spear to conceal his ties with Huangyu Shengyu, but now that he had the Frenzied Tsunami Saber and the Dragonflame Divine Blade, he had no use for this spear anymore.

So, he decided to try using it.

He followed the same steps as before, and soon, the God Armament spear was enveloped in a surge of black aura tinged with nine-colored lightning.

However, the God Armament spear quickly melted too.

“This doesn’t work either. Just what kind of materials do you need?” Eggy was astonished.

This God Armament was already made out of incredibly sturdy materials. If even that didn’t work, she couldn’t imagine what kind of materials would work.

“I’m not sure. I only know the materials have to be sturdy. Ha, I thought I could flaunt my skills after grasping this secret skill, but it looks like I was too optimistic. The secret skill might be easy to master, but it’s no easy feat to find a material that works,” Chu Feng replied with a sigh.

The black-robed woman shook her head.

“The Shahun Clan will be infuriated to hear those words. You should already be satisfied for mastering their secret skill so easily!”

…

Seeing the disappointed Chu Feng, Eggy thought of something and asked, “Chu Feng, that skill of yours is potent enough to melt a God Armament. Can’t you use it against cultivators?”

“It doesn’t work on cultivators, though I can melt their God Armament if I can get in reach. However, I need to be fully focused to invoke this skill, making it impractical in battle,” Chu Feng replied.

Other than healing his bloodline, this secret skill was only good for forging a clone, but that couldn’t be done with materials.

“It’s already good enough that this secret skill accelerates the healing of your bloodline. We can take our time searching for materials,” Eggy consoled.

“You’re right, Milady Queen.” Chu Feng nodded with a smile.

He was disappointed at not being able to forge a Bloodline Soul Puppet right away, but Eggy was right. Just the accelerated healing of his bloodline was already a huge boon.

“All right, I’m getting tired. I’ll head back now,” Eggy said.

She wasn’t fond of crowds, and they were nearing the Immemorial Massacre Sea’s entrance.

Chu Feng opened a gate into his World Spirit Space for her.

Eggy entered the World Spirit Space and made her way toward her Asura Sword with her hands behind her. She lightly knocked the Asura Sword, saying, “Black metal lump, you did well.”

The Asura Sword didn’t reply, but neither did it blow her off as it used to.
