Chapter 746
After learning emotions from Lucy, Frey’s sensibilities were still different from those of ordinary people.
If one had to pinpoint it, her essence itself was likely to be like this.
She was more interested in weapons than jewelry, enjoyed watching swordsmanship displays over admiring artworks, and preferred sparring with someone rather than laughing and chatting at social gatherings. She was more suited to being a knight than a noblewoman, and more suited to being an adventurer than a knight.@@novelbin@@
Even before meeting Lucy, Frey had been told by many people that she was unusual, and she was well aware of the disparity she carried within herself.
However, she never really thought about changing it. She was content with who she was.
Though, just a little bit, she was curious.
She wondered what an ordinary life was like.
If she could learn to live like others, maybe she could enjoy laughing and talking alongside Lucy, even without sparring.
So, Frey had asked her younger sister about the everyday life of ordinary people.
“Are you really curious about that!? Of course, I can tell you! What should I start with? Just say the word!”
But there was no success.
What her younger sister described as daily life was something Frey had seen many times before.
However, just because she had seen it often didn’t mean she could empathize with it. Frey couldn’t understand the joy her sister described with all the fuss.
“I’d have trouble answering if you asked why I’m enjoying this. But I’m enjoying it, aren’t I? You can’t explain why you enjoy sparring with the noble young lady either, can you?”
At her younger sister’s words, Frey unknowingly accepted it and, rather than probing further, asked Lucy for help.
What do you think?
