Mummy Evolution

Chapter 99 99: The Flaming Girl

In the past.

A gathering was being held in the royal palace. A party, a ball with women and men dancing on a grand hall. There was no special occasion, just a gathering of nobles looking for an excuse to drink, gossip, and enjoy themselves.

Today's excuse was the prince—Sett's—return from his first raid.

Sett became a bit gloomy at the thought.

After failing to complete his first A-rank Tomb by himself, Sett and Ismera returned to Ehyut capital city for a few days. Planning to relax and rest their mind before heading for the next raid.

That did not sound grand at all. Even though the party announcer had said the opposite, saying they had conqured the Tomb.

Grandma conquered the tomb, not me. My presence didn't matter at all, he grumbled inwardly. In fact, I probably held her back.

In all royal balls, nobles each had their own groups, the same familiar faces they always stuck with. Sett had his own group as well. It was mostly just his admirers, easy women—none real friends.

Usually, he liked being praised to the moon by them, but these days, it all felt vain.

Walking with more than three women surrounding him, he was eating and dancing when one of the woman said something.

"Prince, you don't have any male friends, do you want me to introduce you to some?" She said. "My contacts are extensive due to my merchant guild, you know? Of course, none of them are as close to me as the prince."

Sett smiled.

He and this women were not close at all—what a hypocritical woman in such a pretty mask of a face.

Not to mention her male connections. With how easy a woman she was, she was probably a gateway for everyone.

These moments made Sett appreciate his own wives all the more. They were much better. He wondered if he would get to see any of them tonight.

Sett already missed Zainah's cheeky laziness.

She went to the city with grandmother, he thought. Leaving me here by myself. No sense of comradery at all—invite your husband if you are going!

Tsk.

"So, prince. You didn't answer, do you want me to connect you to some high class male friends?"

"I have more than enough male friends," Sett said, swishing a glass of wine. "Though none are really here—I doubt they wouldn't be high class enough in comparison."

The woman smiled. "If the prince says so. Though rumor has it that you are prejudiced against men and don't like hanging around them."

Sett's eyes became cold. "That's quite the unfriendly rumor."

Such a rumor was bad for his future climb to the throne. He should indeed hang around with some men.

Maybe I will tell my boys to hang around here once in a while.

Sett, in fact, did not like hanging around men too much. More often than not—he made men feel inferior and that made them lose all confidence. It was incredibly hard to find men who spoke to him on equal terms.

But he did have a boy gang.

A bunch of people he grew up with. And they were his actual, loyal friends. His boys.

"Well, ladies, I think I will excuse myself."

The women had no choice in the matter.

Other nobles showed up, greeted him, found their people, and spent the night talking among themselves, ignoring the rest.

Not that it mattered—most nobles had their own hidden agendas anyway, masked by polite smiles and empty words.

As the nobles danced to the music, Sett elegantly excused himself and left the ball, walking into an open balcony for a breather.

There was already someone sitting there—a young man with crystal-like purple eyes and a slumped back.

Seeing Sett, the young man smiled.

"Sett, you came back from your raid with your grandma," he said in interest.

Sett's eyes twitched. "The reason for this party was my return, you crack."

The young man, handsome as a statue, rubbed the back of his head. "I come to every ball. So I no longer wait to hear the reason for it. I just like to come here and drink while the party is high."

"I see."

Sett shook his head, leaning against the railing and looking up at the moon.

"I was waiting for you, by the way." The young man scooted closer. "Will you sleep with me at last, just for tonight?"

Sett distanced himself with a face full of disgust. "How many times do I have to tell you, Samir. I have no interest in men."

"Tsk. I can't understand why men are so interested in women. I can't even make my thing stand up for a woman."

Samir sat back down, drowning himself in alcohol.

"You are lucky," Sett clicked his tongue. "If it weren't for your sister, I'd have long beaten you up."

The young man smirked. "Privilege of having a hot sister, I guess. You get to have a hot brother in law."

"Where is your sister?" Sett asked, ignoring his words.

"If she heard you returned, she must be on her way from her Territory—ah speak of the devil."

A woman poked her head out of the party area and entered the balcony.

The moment she appeared, Sett turned to her with a big smirk.

"You came to see me!" He exclaimed.

The woman had red hair, blazing red eyes, and a really hot vibe around her. The moment she entered, she caused the atmosphere around to become hotter.

Sett himself felt warm.

Who else could it be but his lovely Nadia?

Nadia Nour.

She did not acknowledge Sett after seeing him, and ignoring him with an ostentatious harrumph, she just stormed towards her brother.

Samir was almost frightened to death by the hot flame rushing towards him.

Nadia snatched the powerful alcohol from his hand and gulped it down as if she had just escaped years of drought.

Sett smirked. "Oi, oi, that's strong stuff, lady. You shouldn't be drinking that."

Nadia rolled her eyes. "And who might you be to say what I should and should not do?"

"Your husband?"

"Heh. Are husbands allowed to dictate whatever their wives eat and drink? What a tyrant." She looked disapprovingly at Sett. "I don't remember marrying a tyrant like you."

Sett smirked, holding out his hand.

Nadia rolled her eyes. "I am in my hot phase—my Axiom is too worked up due to using my True Form. You will burn yourself if you touch me."

In fact, the wine in her hand was evaporating. Sett leaned back on the rails, staring at her. Then, he pulled her into his arms without hesitation.

His clothes immediately began burning but he was completely fine.

Nadia grinned cheekily, transformed into flames as she was falling into his chest and vanished into his body as glittering pieces of flame.

Sett felt warmth rush throughout his body.

"Hahahaha! Feel this young lady's new power, you tyrant! Now I am the one inside you!"

Sett's face became red immediately.

Only Sett and Samir now remained on the roof.

Sett, whose clothes had been completely burned, was obviously naked as well. Moreover, whatever Nadia was upto inside his body was making him hot and passionate.

It was standing.

Sett would have been fine with anyone seeing him naked. Absolutely anyone.

But not Samir.

"Moan for this young lady!" Nadia shouted from inside his body. "Moan! Moan! Moan!"

Sett vanished from the place at immense speed, running for his life.

Samir had a really weird expression on his face.

Then, he bowed on the floor.

"Thank you, sister."

Tears streamed down Sett's eyes as he escaped.

"Nadia, you are done for!"

"Pwahahahah! This is a rape, shut up and open your legs!"
