My Blood Legacy: Reincarnated as a Vampire

Chapter 479 The end of a battle

The sky above the Giant Kingdom seemed to respond to the imminent confrontation. Dark clouds gathered, and thunder rumbled like the war drums of the gods themselves. The air was thick with tension, and every surviving giant watched in silence, dreading what was about to unfold.

Orion, the King of Giants, stood tall over the devastated landscape. Nearly thirty meters in height, he was a true wall of muscle and scars. His titanic battle-axe, forged from the strongest metal in the world, was embedded in the ground, ready to be wielded with destructive force.

Dante, now back in his humanoid form, remained still, a bored smile on his lips. Despite the difference in size, his presence was overwhelming, as if reality itself bent in his favor. His black aura crackled around him, distorting the air and making the ground tremble.

Orion's eyes narrowed.

"You don't understand, do you?" the giant's voice was like distant thunder. "Here, I am a king. I am absolute power. You may have slaughtered my soldiers, but against me, you stand no chance."

"Curiously, absolute power didn't help with the demon invasion. And, curiously, you also weren't attacked by an army of the undead… And, coincidentally… there's a traitor living among you. Quite a lot of coincidences, right?" Dante questioned before chuckling, shaking his head.

"What are you insinuating…?" the giant asked, his voice nervous.

"Me? Nothing… I just find it funny… Who could possibly know what's really happening here? Especially since… you haven't been very active in the council." Dante said before snapping his fingers, his black energy exploding around him, the pressure of his power making even the giants step back.

Orion gritted his teeth and grabbed his axe, spinning it in the air at an absurd speed. The blade tore through the atmosphere, creating a destructive wind current that split rocks apart with sheer pressure.

"Let's see if you're still arrogant after this, insect!" the king roared before leaping forward.

The ground cracked beneath his feet as he charged at Dante, and in the blink of an eye, his axe came crashing down like a meteor toward the Hunter.

CRASH!

The impact was so violent that the ground beneath them exploded, creating a colossal crater. Shockwaves rippled outward, toppling structures and sending debris flying through the air. The giants watched in stunned silence, trying to see what had happened.

And then, from within the dust, a low chuckle echoed.

Orion's eyes widened as he saw Dante standing beside the axe's blade, holding it with just one hand. His muscles were tense, and his black aura shone intensely.

"Not a bad strike," Dante admitted, shoving the blade aside with a fierce push, forcing Orion to stagger backward. "But it's not enough."

Before the giant could react, Dante moved.

His speed was absurd. In one moment, he was on the ground. The next, he was in Orion's face, delivering a devastating punch.

BANG!

The blow twisted the giant's head, sending a tooth flying from his mouth before his body was launched backward. He crashed into a mountain, fracturing it on impact.

But Dante didn't stop.

He appeared above Orion in midair, twisting his body as he unleashed a descending kick directly into the giant's chest.

BOOOOOOM!

The ground beneath them shattered, creating a monstrous fissure. Orion's body sank into the earth, and a cloud of dust rose, covering everything.

The giants watched in absolute silence, their bodies trembling. None of them had ever seen their king being overwhelmed like this.

Orion coughed up blood and tried to rise, only to feel Dante's hand gripping his face.

"Not so fast," Dante murmured, lifting the giant king off the ground with a single arm before slamming him back down with brutal force.

CRACK!

The giant's ribs groaned, and he let out a scream of pain. Dante rolled his eyes, disappointed. Continue your saga on My Virtual Library Empire

"This is all a king has to offer me? What a disappointment."

Orion gritted his teeth and, in a furious movement, raised his hand and clenched his fist, striking Dante with a punch that sent him flying through the air.

Dante soared for several meters before crashing into a mountain. Rocks collapsed over him, creating a pile of debris.

Silence hung in the air.

The giants started breathing again, believing their king had won.

But then…

BOOOOOOOOM!

The mountain EXPLODED.

Dante emerged from the debris slowly, cracking his neck. His body was covered in superficial scratches, but he looked completely unharmed. And more importantly… he looked excited.

"Finally!" he laughed, his eyes glowing with exhilaration. "So, you still have some fight left in you?"

Orion, breathing heavily, grabbed his axe and forced himself to stand. "I am the King of Giants. I won't fall so easily."

"That's good to hear." And then—he vanished.

Orion barely had time to react before a brutal impact struck his stomach.

THOOM!

He felt his organs compress from the blow, his body sent flying backward. But Dante didn't stop. He appeared beside the giant and delivered another punch.

BANG!

Orion was hurled in the opposite direction.

Dante appeared again.

BANG!

And again.

BANG!

And again.

BANG!

With each blow, the King of Giants was tossed around like a ping-pong ball amidst the ruins of his own kingdom. The ground trembled, the winds howled, and the onlookers could do nothing but watch as their king was brutally beaten.

Orion, now covered in blood, collapsed to his knees, gasping for air. He tried to lift his axe, but his hands trembled too much.

Dante landed smoothly in front of him, tilting his head.

"Are we at the end, big guy?" he asked mockingly.

Orion gritted his teeth, spitting blood onto the ground. "You… bastard…"

"Ah…" Dante sighed, raising his hand.

Before he could land the final blow, a surge of power erupted from Orion. The giant's skin glowed gold, his muscles expanding with newfound strength.

"I HAVEN'T LOST YET!" Orion roared, rising in one last desperate effort, his axe shining with pure energy.

He attacked.

Dante leaped back at the last second, feeling the axe's blade pass just inches from his face. The swing obliterated everything behind him, creating a massive shockwave.

But now, Dante was grinning even wider.

"That's it! Show me more!" he roared, his energy exploding in response.

The two clashed once more, and the impact of their attacks cracked the very sky.

Orion's muscles burned, his chest heaving as he clutched his axe with trembling hands. His body, riddled with deep wounds, struggled to remain standing, but his legs were on the verge of giving out.

In front of him, Dante stood perfectly still, excitement plastered across his face. His eyes gleamed like those of a predator that had finally found worthy prey.

"You lasted longer than I expected…" Dante taunted, rolling his shoulder as if he were just warming up. "But now… playtime's over."

WHOOSH!

Dante vanished.

Orion's eyes widened, and before he could react, searing pain exploded in his leg.

CRACK!

His knee was shattered by a devastating kick. The force was so overwhelming that his leg bent at a grotesque angle, and he collapsed to his knees with a roar of agony.

"What a wonderful sound!" Dante laughed, appearing before the fallen giant.

Orion tried to lift his axe again, but Dante seized his hand with a crushing grip.

CRACK!

The bones in the giant's hand snapped, and he screamed as Dante broke his fingers one by one. The axe fell to the ground with a thunderous crash, and Dante casually kicked the weapon away.

"You won't be needing that anymore," he said before grabbing Orion's head and yanking it forward.

BANG!

Dante slammed his knee into the giant king's face, shattering his nose and sending his massive body flying backward like a ragdoll. Blood splattered through the air.

Orion hit the ground, his chest rising and falling erratically. His vision darkened, the metallic taste of blood filling his mouth.

But Dante wasn't done yet.

He climbed onto the giant's chest and began raining down a flurry of brutal punches.

BANG! BANG! BANG!

Each blow drove Orion's face deeper into the ground. The earth fractured beneath him, forming a massive crater around them.

The other giants could do nothing but watch in horror. Their king—the one who was supposed to be invincible—was being mercilessly beaten, unable to even fight back.

Orion weakly raised an arm to defend himself, but Dante grabbed his wrist and tore the arm off with a single, effortless pull.

SCHLUK!

Blood gushed like a geyser, and Orion's scream of agony echoed through the entire kingdom.

"AH… AAAAGH!!"

Dante laughed, holding the severed arm before casually tossing it away like garbage.

"You're still alive? Impressive!" He then stomped onto Orion's chest, his leg sinking deep into the giant's flesh, crushing his ribs.

CRUNCH!

The King of Giants coughed up blood, his eyes glazed over with unbearable pain.

Dante tilted his head, observing the pitiful state of the giant.

"You know what's funny?" he whispered. "I told you that you would fall."

And then, he placed both hands around Orion's head and began squeezing.

The bones of his skull started to creak and crack, fractures forming as Dante applied more and more pressure. Blood oozed through his fingers, and Orion's eyes bulged from their sockets.

"N-No…" the giant barely managed to whisper, his voice a mere breath of agony.

Dante grinned wickedly.

"Goodbye, king of the weak."

And then—he squeezed with finality.

CRACK!

Orion's head exploded between Dante's hands like a crushed watermelon.

The colossal body twitched one last time before finally falling lifeless.

Absolute silence took over the battlefield.

The remaining giants stood frozen, their faces twisted in pure terror. Their king… their ruler… had been reduced to a grotesque corpse right before their eyes.

Dante rose from Orion's blood-soaked chest, casually wiping the filth from his hands. He turned his gaze toward the remaining giants and smirked cruelly.

"Well, if no one is going to bring me Forki…" Dante spoke, his voice dripping with malice.

"Then I'll just destroy the entire kingdom."
