A New Beginning
Location: The Night of the Final Battle – The Final Moment
The sky crackled with lightning as Deku stood amidst the ruins of the battlefield, his body battered and broken. All For One had taken everything from him, but Deku wouldn’t give up. His arms were shaking, his muscles straining, but his will to protect still burned bright. He had fought and lost, but this wasn’t the end. Not yet.
As All For One raised his hand to deliver the final blow, Deku’s thoughts raced. I can’t lose here. I can’t let the world fall to darkness… His mind flashed to the faces of his friends—Todoroki, Bakugo, Momo, and the others. And then to All Might, the hero who had shown him what it meant to never give up. He couldn’t let their sacrifices be in vain.
But there was no way out. With one last scream, he activated One For All to its fullest, knowing it would be his last attack.
Everything went white.
Location: The Past – A New Birth
A sharp, sudden breath echoed through the air, the soft sound of a baby crying filling the room. The scent of a sterile environment, unfamiliar to Deku, wrapped around him. But something was wrong. He could feel it. His mind was still sharp, still burdened by the memories of the battle, yet his body was small—fragile.
He was a child again.
He gasped in shock as the nurses and doctors moved around him, attending to him as if nothing was out of the ordinary. The familiar feel of his mother's voice reassured him as she cooed softly at him, but Deku knew better. This wasn’t just a new life. This was a second chance.
He was back. Back in the world where it all began. But what could he change this time?
Location: A Small Apartment in Musutafu – Present Day
The sunlight streamed through the window, casting long shadows on the floor. Deku—now a five-year-old—sat cross-legged in the middle of the room, eyes narrowed in concentration as he focused on the wooden practice sword in his hands.
“I will be strong,” he whispered to himself.
In his past life, Deku had always been driven by a sense of responsibility, but now, with his knowledge of the future, he knew that every move, every decision he made, could alter the course of history. He couldn’t afford to be the helpless boy he once was. Not again.
As he practiced his swings, Deku could feel something inside him stirring. His quirk—Elemental Dominion—was something new, something that had appeared only after his reincarnation. The ability to wield any element through dual swords. The swords were ethereal, appearing only when he focused, and yet he knew they were real, capable of channeling immense power.
Fire… The first sword glowed with a flicker of red light as the flames swirled around it. Deku’s heart raced as he swung the blade. A wave of heat erupted in the air, a gust of fire trailing the sword’s arc. He stopped, watching in awe as the flames died down. It wasn’t a full-blown inferno like he’d seen before, but it was a start.
Wind. The second sword appeared in his other hand, swirling with the power of the air. He swung the blade, and with it, a gust of wind whipped through the room. The pressure created by the sword cut through the space, making Deku smile in satisfaction.
His powers had already awakened—albeit weakly—but he could feel their potential. The power to control fire, wind, water, lightning, even light and dark. He could feel the balance of nature within the blades, waiting for him to master it.
But he wasn’t ready. Not yet. The burden of his memories was still too heavy. He couldn’t use his power recklessly, not when he knew what was coming.@@novelbin@@
Location: U.A. High School – A Few Years Later
Years had passed since Deku’s rebirth, and he now stood at the gates of U.A. High School, staring up at the looming building in front of him. The heroes and students inside would shape the future. His future.
He had trained relentlessly, his mind sharp and his body strong. His quirk, Elemental Dominion, was growing more powerful each day, but the training to wield it effectively was a challenge. Switching between elements required focus, and overusing them could drain his energy faster than he could replenish it. Still, he knew he had to stay hidden—no one could know how strong he truly was. Not yet.
"Hey, you’re the new kid, right?" A voice interrupted his thoughts.
Deku turned to see a blonde boy with spiky hair and a scowl standing in front of him. Bakugo. He remembered him well from his past life. This time, though, he wasn’t going to let their rivalry spiral out of control. Deku gave a small, polite bow.
"Yes, I’m Izuku Midoriya," he replied softly.
Bakugo’s scowl deepened, but he didn’t say anything more, just nodded and walked past him. Deku turned his attention back to the school before him, knowing that this was only the beginning. He had a new chance at life, but it would take everything he had to keep his secret, protect his friends, and stop All For One from ever returning.
What do you think?
