Chapter 759: Chapter 761 She is My Wife (2)
Qin Zhiyou had no inhibitions in front of her, but was aloof to others within a second.
Just before checking in, he handed her his phone: “The phone is out of battery.”
Lu Weixi was taken aback. She took out her own phone and saw it was only 15% charged. She had a charger in her bag, but the bag was in the patient room. She needed to go get it.
The door to the examination room had already closed. She hesitated for a moment, but she held onto his phone and rushed back to the patient room to charge it as quickly as possible.
She knew how important Qin Zhiyou’s phone was to him. People frequently seek him out for errands and business, and she didn’t want to disrupt his work even if she could only charge it for 10 minutes.
Some things are just like, the more you fear them, the more they come.
Just as Lu Weixi had finished charging his phone, a call came to her own phone. It was Secretary Wang’s voice: “Young Madam, let Mr. Qin take the call!”
His voice was very urgent. Lu Weixi was stunned, “He’s undergoing an examination.”
“Do you have his phone with you then? Why is it turned off?”@@novelbin@@
“It ran out of battery and is charging. What’s the matter?” Lu Weixi was confused. It was only half past eight, shouldn’t this issue be dealt with during working hours?
“There has been a development about the fight you were in yesterday. It has become a trending topic on Weibo,” Secretary Wang hurriedly stated. “Although I’ve contacted them, there seem to be other forces spreading it, inflating the numbers. Weibo is trying to suppress it, but they can’t control it.”
Lu Weixi was startled, “He won’t be out of examination for another ten minutes. Please handle the Weibo matter first. Try to suppress the news however you can.”
Secretary Wang replied, “I understand, but I heard some messages are still on his phone. Could you please turn it on to check?”
Lu Weixi nodded: “No problem.”
Having charged the phone a little, there was not much battery left, but it was enough to turn on. She quickly turned it on and saw that Qin Zhiyou had set a password.
Nowadays, to unlock a phone, one either inputs a password or uses a facial or fingerprint recognition.
She definitely couldn’t unlock the last two. The key was the password.
Lu Weixi thought for a moment, tried his birthday as the password, but it didn’t work.
What would a person typically use for a password if not their birthday? Something dumb like “1111” or “666666”? But, it didn’t seem like Qin Zhiyou would go for those sort of simple combinations.
Even though they are trusting of each other now, they are both adults. She never looked at his phone or checked his posts, let alone intrude into his WeChat, QQ or any other social media accounts to look at his personal data.
Before, when they didn’t know each other well and their marriage was just a formality, neither would interfere with the other. Now she trusts him implicitly. If she ever found him doing something wrong, she would directly propose divorce instead of sneakily investigating him.
But this also meant she knew nothing of Qin Zhiyou’s passwords or any important data. Now needing to unlock his phone, she felt a little lost.
Could it be her birthday?
She tentatively inputted her own birthday, but of course it didn’t work.
Lu Weixi smiled at herself mockingly. She knew it. They hadn’t been in love that long, why would he randomly change his phone’s password to her birthday?
Could it be his mother’s, his father’s, or even his grandfather’s birthday?
She tried each one, but none worked.
What do you think?
