My Pet Beast is Super Fearsome

Chapter 75 - 74 The Beginning of Chaos

Chapter 75: Chapter 74 The Beginning of Chaos

In the eastern district of Su City, a saleswoman with a gentle smile had just seen off a customer. She turned to her coworker with a pout and complained, “It’s so annoying, trying on five or six pieces of clothing and not willing to buy a single one. Just snapping photos with their phone, as if there’s anything worth capturing.”

“Oh, come on, it’s not the first time we’ve dealt with this, just endure it a bit and it’ll pass,” said a middle-aged woman with kind eyes and a gentle face, clearly a very tender-hearted person.

“Yan Sister’s heart is so broad, I just can’t do that, hehe,” said the young woman, laughing as she playfully reached out her “claws” to make a sneak attack on the middle-aged woman’s generous bosom.

“You little girl, be careful or you’ll not get married,” Yan Sister chided with a smile, gently tapping her.

Unconcerned, the young woman replied with a mischievous grin, “If I can’t get married, I’ll just wait for your son to marry me. Then we’ll get along as mother and daughter-in-law harmoniously.”

“You, shall we go to the restroom together?” Yan Sister fondly shook her head.

Squatting in the stall, the young woman chattered non-stop while Yan Sister just listened, occasionally chiming in.

“Ding~”

The sound of a cell phone rang, and as Yan Sister picked it up, her face turned deathly pale under the light of the phone screen.

Knock knock.

“Yan Sister, come out quickly, or the boss will scold us again,” urged the young woman, knocking on the door as Yan Sister showed no sign of moving.

“Xiao Qing, you go back first, my stomach isn’t feeling too well,” Yan Sister spoke with a strange tone, but made no move to come out.

With her lips pursed, Xiao Qing replied with a slight coquetry in her voice, “No, I want to wait for Yan Sister.”

Creak.

The door of the restroom stall slowly opened a crack, but no one emerged. Xiao Qing quickly reached out to open the door, fearing something might have happened to Yan Sister.

“Hiss!”

As soon as the door opened, before she could make out the scene within, a dark figure cried out strangely and clung to Xiao Qing’s head.

Xiao Qing froze instantly, her expression one of terror, breathing rapidly through her nostrils.

“You child, always so disobedient.”

A familiar voice sounded in Xiao Qing’s ear. Grasping for salvation, her eyeballs spun wildly, filled with hope and longing.

The thing holding her head shifted, and Xiao Qing clearly saw Yan Sister standing across from her, the Yan Sister who she spent her days with, who always looked after her.

But the Yan Sister she saw now made her feel alienated, with several plate-sized spiders crawling on her body and a sinister smile on her face.

“Wuu~”

Xiao Qing shook her head frantically, trying to say something, but her mouth couldn’t produce any sound.

“Good girl, it won’t hurt, it’ll be over quickly.” Yan Sister stepped forward, her palm gently caressing Xiao Qing’s cheek, her face once again displaying that familiar gentle smile.

Xiao Qing seemed to reignite hope, her big eyes brimming with yearning, big tears rolling down non-stop.

“Puh!”

Her face expression locked in place.

A wolf spider’s forelimb, gleaming coldly, had pierced through Xiao Qing’s head.

A splatter of fresh blood sprayed from Xiao Qing’s eye sockets, splashing Yan Sister’s face. She licked it with her tongue, a look on her face part sorrow and part joy.

“Thud!”

Xiao Qing’s body went limp and fell to the ground, her remaining eye wide open, as blood quickly spread, forming a grotesque, bloom-like pattern on the pristine and shiny floor.

Yan Sister gave Xiao Qing one last look, then coldly turned to say, “Begin.”

“Hiss~”

The wolf spiders on her body emitted an excited hiss, leaping from her body to the corpse of Xiao Qing, ravenously gnawing away.

“Ahhhh!”

Shortly after, a piercing scream echoed through the mall, signaling the beginning of a massacre.

At the same time, similar incidents occurred throughout Su City, casting a sudden disaster that shrouded the entire city under dark clouds.

“Ugh~”

In the sewer, four girls were leaning against the slippery walls, violently retching.

The slimy mud, the foul sewage, and the air filled with irritating gases were constantly challenging the fragile nerves of the students.

“Stand up, all of you, look at yourselves,” Bald Qiang demanded, shining his high-powered flashlight on each student one by one. Those caught in the light shielded their eyes with their arms, growing increasingly discontent.

“We’re just students, why do we have to come to a place like this?” a male student grumbled under his breath. @@novelbin@@

Bald Qiang’s face grew darker as he aimed the flashlight at the male student who had just spoken, “Students, from the day you became Combat Training Masters, you’re no longer ordinary students. Anyone who wants to be a coward can scram now, and I will personally revoke your Combat Training Master status when we get back.”

After speaking, Bald Qiang scanned the group with his flashlight again, “You, you, and you, who wants out?”

The targeted students hung their heads, no longer speaking.

A moment later, Bald Qiang put away the flashlight, “Since no one’s quitting, show me what you’re made of. Summon all the pets and continue to explore with me.”

Shao Zifeng followed behind the group, walking unhurriedly, holding a small deer in his arms and using it to cover his mouth and nose.

Real fragrance.

The little deer, seeing the hair so close at hand, brightened its eyes, turned its head to bite Zifeng’s hair, and rapidly moved its small mouth, its wet eyes filled with a hint of satisfaction.

After the brief interruption, the team fell silent again, everyone continued to fumble forward in the dark.

Aside from the squelching sound of footsteps in the mud, only the dripping of water from an unknown source could be heard in the pitch-black sewer.

“Ah!”

Just then, a girl let out a scream, pointing ahead with a pale face, her lips trembling so much that she couldn’t speak.

Everyone looked up to see a pair of greenish eyes lighting up in the darkness, floating in mid-air like ghostly fires, causing a stir among the crowd.

“Shut up, it’s my pet,” Bald Qiang ordered quietly, shining the flashlight over.

A Giant Battle Bear slowly emerged from the darkness, its broad paws stepping silently perhaps because of the mud dampening the sound.

“Er Bao, found anything?” Bald Qiang took a few steps forward and patted the giant bear’s head affectionately.

The bear nodded humanly, turned around with some difficulty in the confined space, glanced at them, and gestured for Bald Qiang to follow.

Zifeng watched the leading bear with curiosity, amazed in his heart.

He hadn’t expected Bald Qiang to have another bear, but then again, it made sense; the Giant Power Battle Bear was so large that it probably could only crawl through the sewer if it could be summoned at all.

After moving for a while, the bear suddenly stopped and sniffed around before letting out a big sneeze.

It turned back and nodded at Bald Qiang, moving to the side to give a better view.

Bald Qiang directed the beam of his high-powered flashlight, revealing a mutilated corpse lying in the sewer channel.

Whatever was blocking it, the body bobbed up and down but wasn’t swept away by the filthy water.

Bald Qiang stepped forward, reaching out to turn the body over.

Suddenly, the body shook and turned over by itself.

Its hollow eyes moved restlessly as if it were about to come back to life.
