Netori: I Shall Steal All Of My Enemies' Women For Revenge!

Chapter 223 Think Carefully!

The room fell into silence. Everyone knew this was the best option they had, even if it wasn't ideal.

Rin was a stranger to them, and Daiki had already seen her face. She had been ready to die that day—but when she saw Haruto, something in her wavered.

Still, for Haruto, the situation didn't sit right. She was a dying woman, and using her as a scapegoat felt like taking advantage of her. A flicker of guilt settled in his chest.

"What are you saying? Do you think they'll believe you're their only enemy?"

Haruto scoffed, crossing his arms as if he was indifferent to Rin's plight.

"Besides, you're sick. You should be thinking about treatment, not planning your death," he added bluntly.

Enji elbowed Haruto, leaning in to whisper, "That should've been my line. Let me have this one, alright?"

Haruto rolled his eyes but said nothing.

Enji straightened up, shifting his attention back to Rin.

"Haruto's right. Daiki is a man with a massive ego—he won't admit you beat him, but he won't let it go either. He'll still hunt you down."

He smirked, leaning back slightly. "But you're safe with me, obviously."

A tense silence followed. Not only did Haruto give Enji a sharp side-eye, but everyone else did too—especially Arataki, given the serious danger they were in.

"Anyway," Arataki cut in, his voice steady, "you made sure to destroy all the CCTV footage, right? If so, this shouldn't be a problem… at least for now."

He didn't wait for a response before turning to leave, already dialing Kikuchi's number.

Rin, who had remained silent, suddenly coughed, breaking the tension. Her weak voice carried an edge of defiance.

"You… all of you. You realize I'm not just some ordinary woman, right? So don't look down on me. And don't act like you have the right to scold me for choosing death."

She tried to push herself up, but her strength failed her, and she collapsed back onto the bed.

"We didn't mean it that way." Enji exhaled, rubbing the back of his neck.

"But we know Daiki better than you do. Even Ren… They won't stop at just killing you. There was someone else with you, right? They'll find out sooner or later."

"You being a scapegoat won't be enough," Haruto said, his tone turning cold. His sharp gaze locked onto Rin.

"And you know what happens to every woman with ties to Ren, don't you?"

Rin stilled.

"Do you think they'll just kill you? Death would be a mercy. So don't fool yourself." His voice was emotionless, like he was stating a fact.

Rin clenched the blanket in frustration, her eyes flicking downward.

She wanted to argue, to fight back—but everything they said was right.

And the only way she knew how to fight was with her fists.

"So you want me to stay here and die an even more miserable death? Without doing anything to avenge my friend?" she hissed.

"Who said that?" Haruto scoffed. "I still need you. Especially that weapon."

Enji's eyes widened as realization struck.

"Don't you dare," he warned.

Haruto met his gaze, unwavering. "Enji, I'm thinking like Kikuchi wanted me to. Based on my assessment, Daiki isn't someone I can manipulate the way I did with Kota or Ren." His voice was firm, resolute.

"That's why I need to kill him as soon as possible."

Enji's patience snapped. He grabbed Haruto by the collar and yanked him forward. "Then what about your women? Your sisters? All of us?! Do you want to die just like that?!"

Haruto hesitated. "…I'll find a way."

But even as he said it, doubt crept in. He had almost forgotten how many things he had to protect now. Your adventure continues at My Virtual Library Empire

Yet, in this moment, none of it felt as urgent as ending things once and for all.

"If you manage to kill Daiki, then what?" Enji shot back.

"Do you think that'll be the end of it? Shohei will come for you—and not just you, but all of your women too. Do you have any idea what he'll do to them?" His grip on Haruto's collar tightened.

"Think carefully, Haruto."

Haruto's hands clenched into fists. Enji was right. Even if he killed Daiki, even if he threw away his own life in the process, Shohei would still come after the people he cared about.

'I also have a child on the way… What would happen to them if they grew up without a father?'

The thought made his chest tighten. Unconsciously, his fingers trembled.

He had weaknesses now. And Daiki—no, all of them—would use those weaknesses against him if he wasn't careful.

"You too," Enji let go of Haruto's collar and hia gaze landed on Rin, "Let's think about it carefully and all of you need to rest."

"Today might be too traumatizing and making all of you act like a fool."

The Terminator continued their work while Rin rested in the other room. Haruto was fortunate that school was closed today due to a national holiday—it gave him time to focus.

Old Futto took the lead, opening the encrypted files. Fortunately, the password for the flash drive was the same as the one used for the door lock.

As Enji and Arataki assisted him, Old Futto began sorting the files into categories, making it easier to analyze the information.

"We really got everything," Old Futto muttered, shaking his head.

"Even the full list of buyers."

"And they used their real names?" Arataki raised a brow, scrolling through the screen.

"Damn, a lot of politicians and big names here."

He leaned forward, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "Let me search for my father's name."

Enji snorted, taking a bite from an apple. "You really think you'll find it?"

"Maybe. He's a piece of shit," Arataki chuckled.

Old Futto typed in the name and waited. A moment later, he shrugged. "What a shame—he's not on the list."

"Tch. Would've been fun to watch some family drama," Old Futto added, smirking.

The three of them laughed, but Enji's attention drifted to Haruto, who had been quiet, staring at his phone. Grinning, Enji tossed an apple at him.

"What are you doing? Texting all your girlfriends?" he teased.

Haruto caught the apple with a frown and threw it back. "Shut up," he sighed, his focus returning to his phone.@@novelbin@@

Enji wasn't exactly wrong. Haruto hadn't contacted his women in over eight hours, and after spending the night at Arataki's mansion, they were all furious at him. His messages were flooded with unread texts.

"You know, at this point, you should just make a LANE group for all your women," Enji said, laughing as he spun his chair back toward the screen.

"That way, you don't have to message them one by one."

Haruto rubbed his chin, considering the idea. "That… might actually be a great idea."

The door swung open suddenly, and Rin strolled in, her steps confident as she approached Haruto, who was lounging on the sofa.

Without hesitation, she plopped down beside him and set a bottle of vodka on the table with a thud.

"I've decided to cooperate with all of you," she declared, her voice brimming with conviction.

"And I'll even provide all the firearms you need."
