Netori: I Shall Steal All Of My Enemies' Women For Revenge!

Chapter 227 Ayaka Is In Danger!

Ayaka's school day ended like any other. She packed her textbooks into her bag, her mind already planning a quick stop at the bookstore before heading home.

But when she hears the commotion outside as someone slides the door forcefully to get inside her classroom.

Her heart sank when she realized it was one of the Red Gang's members, his eyes scanning the area like a predator searching for prey.

Ayaka's instincts screamed at her to run, and she quickly pulled out her phone, her fingers trembling as she texted Haruto as fast as she could.

Ayaka: Red Fang is here. I'm in trouble.

Without wasting another second, she bolted out the back door of the classroom, her bag slung over her shoulder.

The sound of heavy footsteps and angry shouts echoed behind her as the Red Fang members gave chase.

"That bitch is there! Don't let her escape!"

"Get the fuck out of our way!"

Another roared, shoving students aside as they tried to catch up to Ayaka.

Her heart pounded in her chest as she sprinted down the hallway. She glanced over her shoulder, her panic rising as the men closed in.

But then, she saw Mari stepping out of a classroom, her eyes widening in surprise as she noticed the commotion.

Mari, quick on her feet, pretended to be in the middle of the hallway, blocking the path of the Red Fang members.

Ayaka darted past her, her breath coming in ragged gasps.

"Ugh! That hurts!"

Mari suddenly exclaimed, falling to the ground with a loud thud as one of the chasing students accidentally bumped into her.

"What are you all doing, running in the hallway like maniacs?!"

The Red Fang members skidded to a halt, their faces twisted in frustration. They wanted to shove Mari aside, but the cold, collective glare from the surrounding students made them think twice.

Reluctantly, they stopped, their eyes burning with rage as they watched Ayaka disappear down the stairs.

Ayaka, now on the first floor, felt a surge of relief. She pulled out her phone again, her hands shaking as she texted Haruto in panic as she finally called him.

The moment he picked up, she screamed into the phone, her voice filled with desperation.

"HARUTO! HELP ME!"

"Where are you?! What happened?!" Haruto's voice was frantic, his panic mirroring hers.

"It's Red Fang! They're chasing me—"

But before she could finish her sentence, she collided with someone in the hallway.

Her phone slipped from her hand, clattering to the ground as she looked up, her heart stopping at the sight of another Red Fang member smirking down at her.

"You traitor bitch!" he snarled, grabbing her hair and yanking her head back. "You're gonna pay for what you've done!"

Ayaka's phone lay on the ground, the call still connected but her voice silenced.

Her eyes filled with horror as the man dragged her away, her screams echoing through the empty hallway as no one wanted to intervene.

"Ayaka! What happened?! Are you alright?! Answer me!"

Haruto shouted into the phone, but only silence answered him. His hands trembled, his heart pounding against his ribs.

His gut feeling had been right—Ren was coming after his women one by one.

Without hesitation, he snatched the car keys from Rin's hand and slid into the driver's seat.

"Oi! What the hell do you think you're doing?!" Rin snapped, her eyes narrowing. "My Vincenzo is sensitive, you bastard—"

"Shut up! I don't have time for this—get in the damn car, NOW!" Haruto roared, his voice raw with urgency.

Rin clicked her tongue but climbed into the passenger seat with Chiyo just as Haruto slammed his foot on the gas.

"Haruto! What's going on?!" Chiyo's voice was tight with worry, her hands gripping her stomach instinctively. "Why are you in such a hurry?!"

Haruto didn't answer. He couldn't. His eyes were locked onto the road, his mind racing with worst-case scenarios.

A red light loomed ahead—

'Fuck it.'

He sped through the intersection, tires screeching against the asphalt.

A patrol car blared its siren in the distance, but the Vincenzo was already too fast for them to follow.

Minutes later, the school came into view.

Haruto slammed the brakes, the car jerking to a sudden stop.

He turned to Rin, his voice firm. "Take Chiyo home. Now. If anyone gets in your way, run them over."

Then, without waiting for a response, he shoved the door open and sprinted toward the school building.

Rin leaned back against her seat, watching him disappear with a smirk.

"Tch. Dramatic as hell," she muttered before turning the key in the ignition. "But I like his style."

Chiyo shifted uncomfortably. "Are you sure we should leave him behind?"

"Hundred percent." Rin flicked her sunglasses down over her eyes. "That man can handle himself."

She turned to Chiyo, her smirk fading. "But you? You're as weak as a kitten. So let's get you home before something really bad happens."

With that, she stepped on the gas, leaving the school—and Haruto—behind.

Haruto sprinted down the hallway, his eyes darting frantically from one end to the other.

The hallway was empty. No sign of Ayaka.

His pulse hammered as he yanked out his phone and dialed her number. A familiar ringtone echoed nearby.

He followed the sound, his heart sinking when he spotted Ayaka's phone lying abandoned in the middle of the floor.

'Shit.'

A cold sense of dread wrapped around his spine as he picked it up, his fingers tightening around the device.

Just then, hushed voices caught his ear.

"That was scary, right?"

"Yeah… I feel bad for that girl."

"But isn't she part of the gang? She should've known what was coming."

Without hesitation, he turned and stormed toward the group of three girls whispering near the lockers. Without warning, he grabbed one of their shoulders, making her jolt.

"Eh? Haruto?"

"Tell me what you saw." His voice was sharp, his grip firm. "Was it Ayaka? Where did they take her?"

The girl stiffened, clearly unnerved by his intensity. "I—I don't know exactly… But I saw some guys dragging Ayaka-senpai…"

"Where?" His grip tightened.

"The field… I think… But I don't know where exactly…"

That was all he needed to hear. Without wasting another second, Haruto turned and bolted toward the field.

If they took Ayaka, there was only one place they could be.

And if those bastards laid a hand on her— They were dead.
