Kael was sitting on the edge of his bed.

His mind, however, was anything but quiet.

"So, this is my team," Kael muttered, staring at the neatly written list.

Ren, Marcus, Aelina, and Lira.

Ren was reliable, an elf with a sharp eye and a loyal nature. He trusted Ren, not as great Archer.

But as a friend—someone who would watch his back.

"He’s quick to act, maybe too quick sometimes, but that can be managed," Kael mused.

Marcus, on the other hand, was the wildcard.

"He’ll bring raw power to the team, but I’ll need to keep his ego in check." A small smirk crept across Kael’s face.

"That duel we had wasn’t just for show; I needed him to understand who’s in charge."

Then there was Aelina, a mage with unparalleled spellcasting talent.

Her knowledge of advanced magic would be invaluable, but Kael also knew she’d demand precise strategy to fully utilize her potential.

Finally, there was Lira, the agile rogue who specialized in stealth and reconnaissance.

Kael leaned back against the wall, his thoughts drifting to the trials that lay ahead.

"The first trial won’t be easy."

As then kael mind drifted to others team.

"As per novel Shirone’s will team have three leader categories students" he muttered.

’Well we’ll see it tomorrow’

_______

"Good morning, everyone," Serena said, her sharp eyes scanning the room.

"Today, I will announce the official team formations."

The students straightened in their seats, some whispering quietly among themselves while others sat in tense silence.

"Let’s begin," Serena said, unfolding the parchment. "First up, Tiger team ."

" Leader - Melody"

"Members....

It continues as she call out other teams names as then.

"Dream team" Serena called out.

"Leader - Shirone,"

The air in the room grew heavy as Serena began to list the names.

"Adria Shirone, Eric Blackthorne, Elise Hawthorne, Farron Valtor, and Olivia Greystone."

The moment she finished, the classroom erupted into noise.

"Are you kidding me?" one student exclaimed.

"That’s basically an all-star team!" another groaned.

"They’ve got five leader-category students in one group! How is that even allowed?"

Kael sat silently in his seat, watching the commotion unfold.

His fingers lightly tapped the desk as he analyzed the situation.

"This wasn’t in the novel," Kael muttered to himself.

"Shirone’s team was strong, but not this overpowered. Did they form this team intentionally to compete with us?"

Ren, seated next to Kael, leaned over with a frown.

"This feels unfair. They’ve got half the leader-category students on one team. How do they expect us to keep up with that?"

Kael smirked faintly, leaning back in his chair.

"Doesn’t matter," he said quietly.

’I could beat all of them alone if I had to.’

Ren raised an eyebrow but didn’t argue.

As the room continued to buzz with complaints and debates, Kael’s thoughts raced.

"Eric is strong, but he’s impulsive. Elise is manipulative, and Farron struggles with teamwork. Olivia’s skills are excellent, but she’s not used to real pressure. Shirone is their glue, but even he can’t cover all their flaws."

Kael’s gaze shifted toward Shirone, who seemed calm despite the uproar around him.

Shirone glanced toward Kael briefly, their eyes meeting for a moment before Kael looked away, a faint smirk tugging at his lips.

’Let them think they’re unbeatable,’ Kael thought.

As the noise began to settle, Professor Serena called for silence. "Enough chatter. Teams are formed based on compatibility and potential. If you have concerns, take them up with your leaders. Now, moving on to the next team…"

Kael’s focus sharpened.

As Serena looked at her list, she called out,

"Next team: The Cream fillers."

The room erupted into laughter.

Students were nearly falling out of their seats, clutching their stomachs.

Kael chuckled along, shaking his head at the absurdity of the name. He glanced at Ren, who was wiping tears from his eyes.

"The Cream Fillers? Seriously, who even comes up with this stuff?" Kael said, grinning.

But then he noticed something strange—Marcus wasn’t laughing.

He sat there, arms crossed, his expression uncharacteristically serious.

The laughter around Kael faded into the background as a sinking feeling took over.

"Leader: Kael," Serena announced, trying to suppress her own amusement.

Kael’s smile froze. "Wait. What?"

He immediately turned to his team, glaring at each of them in turn.

"Who did this?"

Ren raised his hands defensively, stifling another laugh.

"Hey, don’t look at me. I wouldn’t waste my brilliance on something this stupid!"

Kael’s eyes shifted to Marcus, who still hadn’t cracked a smile.

"Marcus?"

The dragon-born leaned back in his chair, a faint smirk finally tugging at the corner of his lips.

"What? It fits."

"It fits?" Kael repeated, incredulous. "Cream Fillers? Are you insane? Do you even know what it means?"

Marcus shrugged.

"Yes I know and Think about it. We’re unexpected. A very unique name"

Kael stared at him, his brain short-circuiting. Ren leaned over to Kael, whispering,

"I think he’s lost it."

"Marcus," Kael began, rubbing his temples.

"you couldn’t have chosen anything cooler? The Stormbringers? The Shadow Blades? Heck, even the Cabbage Knights would’ve been better!"

Marcus raised a brow, looking genuinely hurt.

"Oh, so Cabbage Knights is better than Cream Fillers? Got it. My creativity is clearly underappreciated here."

Lira, the rogue, chimed in, clearly amused. "I dunno. It’s growing on me. Makes us sound mysterious... or maybe tasty?"

Kael immediately looked towards Ren.

Who have Same expression as him ’She doesn’t know , She is innocent’

" Yes Lira you are right," Kael grumbled, burying his face in his hands.

The laughter started up again, even louder this time.

Kael groaned and shot Marcus one last exasperated look.

Marcus met his gaze evenly, his smirk now a full grin.

"You’ll thank me later, Kael. Mark my words."

Kael sighed in defeat, shaking his head. "Fine. But don’t expect me to explain this name to anyone."

"Oh, don’t worry," Ren said, patting Kael’s shoulder. "The name explains itself."

Kael muttered under his breath, "I’m leading a team of lunatics."

And with that, The Cream Fillers were officially announced, much to Kael’s eternal embarrassment.
