Chapter 370 Wrong person found.
[Ding, detection of a Lower Rank Angel's Ring link established, would you like to assert control and read?]
After the two Angel's Rings came into contact, the following notification surfaced within Dorothy's consciousness.
"Confirm."
Dorothy, while marveling at the user-friendly operation of the Angel's Ring, silently agreed in her mind.
In an instant, her consciousness briefly hazed, and then she found herself standing directly in front of an opulent and solemn divine temple.
The homebody witch looked down at herself, only to discover that she, too, had become an angel, which drove her to Summon an Ice Mirror out of curiosity to get a clearer look at her current appearance.
She was a War Angel dressed in a black Battle Robe, with six pairs of mottled Wings on her back. Unlike the swan-like Wings typical of Angels, hers were metallic, with each feather seemingly constructed of various miniature blades, giving the Wings a cold, fierce impression.
However, the mirror did not reflect her face, which remained chaotic under the hood of her Battle Robe.
Having learned a bit about the Power of Faith from Ruthfiel, Dorothy understood that her lack of face was due to not having established her own faith sect and failing to leave a deity statue within such a sect. Thus, the Power of Faith, which was to depict her visage, did not know how to portray her.
But this suited her fine, as it saved her the trouble of having to disguise her own face to avoid being recognized by the Vice President later on.
After carefully examining herself to make sure there was nothing that could give her identity away, Dorothy waived away the Ice Mirror and then pushed open the grand doors to Miss Skywalker's temple.
Boom, boom, boom...
As the towering wooden doors slowly opened, the interior of the temple church unfolded before the homebody witch's eyes.

There was a nun dressed in black and white attire, Miss Nun, who appeared to have been waiting for her arrival inside the door, and to Dorothy's surprise, this nun bore the visage of the Vice-President, Ivette.
At present, Miss Vice President was gawking in surprise at the Six-Winged War Angel before her, seemingly puzzled over how the prominent Dragon Witch could suddenly have switched Races.
She cautiously confirmed the identity of the newcomer.
"Yes."
Lacking a face—or even a head—Dorothy could only nod her hood, acknowledging her own identity,
then she looked around at the layout of the temple church, with her gaze finally settling on the tall deity statues under the colorful rose window at the far end of the church.
There were four statues in total: At the center stood a Twelve-Winged Angel holding a Holy Sword; to its left was a statue of a Six-Winged Angel, and to the right, one of a Four-Winged Angel.
And to the left of the Six-Winged Angel, there was a small statue of a Dual-Winged Angel that resembled Ivette, who was dressed as a nun next to Dorothy.
Basing on her knowledge of faith, Dorothy recognized the meaning of these four statues.
The largest statue of the Twelve-Winged Angel was that of the Supreme Deity, naturally the God King whom the Angel Witches worship and believe in. The two Angel statues beside were, unsurprisingly, the Vice President's two mothers. And the smallest of the statues, the Dual-Winged Angel, was indeed a likeness of Ivette herself.
This was the classic setup of a second-generation Angel Witch drawing upon their parent's faith. It showed that the Vice President had not yet established her own faith sect and was currently sharing in some of the belief as a deity affiliated with her mothers.
But these were not the primary concern. The focus was the God King's statue.
Dorothy cocked her hood to the side, then a smile spread across her hidden face.@@novelbin@@
"Heh heh, I've finally found you."
She looked at the statue of the Twelve-Winged Angel and said so.
"Um..."
Next to Dorothy, Vice-President Ivette looked completely baffled, not understanding why Lord Clown would inexplicably speak to the statue.
In nearly every Angel Witch's private temple, an image of the God King is venerated, demonstrating their faith in this Ancestral Elder.
However, everyone knew that the statue really had no significance, after all, the God King had never responded to the prayers of their descendants.
So why did Lord Clown speak to the statue of the God King in her temple? Had she found something?
Ivette was quite puzzled.
But Dorothy had no intention of explaining; in fact, with a wave of her hand, she used her high authority to lock Miss Vice President in a dark room where she could sense nothing outside. Only then did she continue to speak.
"So, are you going to come out on your own, or do I need to force you out?"
She still stared at the statue of the Twelve-Winged Angel as she said this.
As her words fell, the statue of the Twelve-Winged Angel came to life, its originally crimson wings suddenly started to lose color, eventually turning into twelve pure, unblemished white wings.
In the end, a Pure White Angel with beauty not a whit inferior to Audrey's floated in mid-air. The Angel opened her eyes to reveal golden pupils that shone brightly, then looked at Dorothy somewhat perplexedly.
"Who are you? You seem to have my scent on you?"
Dorothy: "....."
The Homebody Witch, however, fell silent. Although she had no face to worry about betraying her feelings, her heart was filled with a thousand raging emotions that she couldn't rightly express.
After all, she had thought it was just a superficial sculpture, so she had planned to bluff, but this was the Lord of Glory himself.
Naturally, Dorothy recognized the identity of this high-quality version of Sophia, the Pure White Angel before her. This was a heavyweight figure indispensable in the Witch history books, the culprit who single-handedly gave rise to the mightiest Calamity Race—the Witches, the unfortunate King of Angels who had been a tourist attraction for over a hundred thousand years—the Lord of Glory.
As soon as the Homebody Witch entered the temple, she immediately noticed the anomaly in this Vice President's temple, because in her eyes, the high-ranking Twelve-Winged Angel statue was not the God King, whose Angel's True Form was a Twelve-Winged Blazing Angel with fiery feather colors, yet this one had twelve pure white Wings of Glory on its back.
In her memory, there was only one Angel matching this pure white characteristic, the one who was sealed—the Lord of Glory.
Clearly, someone had tampered with Ivette's temple, substituting the Lord of Glory for the God King, stealthily stealing the faith that rightfully belonged to the God King.
Despite recognizing the gravity of the situation, Dorothy was not overly alarmed because she assumed this must be an attempt by an Angel who worshipped the Lord of Glory to rescue their king.
This type of news was actually not unusual; it happened every day since the Lord of Glory was sealed, the Angel Clan had never ceased their rescue efforts for her.
That was why Dorothy spoke up so boldly; she wanted to see which clueless troublemaking Angel had bumped into her this time.
Only, she never imagined that instead of summoning the suspected Angel she had in mind, she had actually summoned the consciousness of the Lord of Glory herself.
Ah this...
What do I do now; can I say I called the wrong person? Waiting online, it's urgent.
...The Homebody Witch is trembling...
What do you think?
