Chapter 371 332. Lord Gabriel of the Glorious

Although the sight of the final boss blocking the door right at the entrance of Novice Village was quite overwhelming, after the initial panic subsided, Dorothy soon calmed down.

After all, she was no ordinary player, "senior Fanny, save me," she thought.

Even though this Future Fourth King had gone mad and was not yet at her peak, the Lord of Glory opposite her had been sealed for over a hundred thousand years and was also greatly weakened. If these two worn-out forces were to actually come to blows, they would probably be evenly matched, and neither could do much harm to the other.

The moment Dorothy realized she had a powerful ally to rely on, and could "punch above her weight," her panic dissipated. She began to contact senior Fanny through the Familiar Contract while casually lifting her hood and looking unflinchingly at...

Well, she currently had no face.

In any case, she bravely faced the Lord of Glory opposite her.

Having confirmed that she could get in touch with senior Fanny, and that she could be retrieved at any moment—ensuring her life was not in danger—she became curious and had quite a few questions for the other party.

"Stop this, Lord of Glory; your situation is already widely known," she said after some thought.

It was a pity that the Lord of Glory opposite her had no intention of listening to her prattle. The Pure White Angel with twelve wings fluttered her feathers gently and appeared in front of Dorothy, to her horror.

The Homebody Witch was so frightened she almost called upon senior Fanny on the spot, but she quickly realized that the powerful King of Angels seemed to bear her no ill will.

After circling Dorothy a few times and giving her a thorough up-and-down look, the Lord of Glory shook her head, somewhat disappointedly, and said,

"A decade ago, I suddenly felt a new blood connection, as if I had gained a daughter out of nowhere. I thought you might be her, but now it seems you're not."

"Nevertheless, you must know my daughter; how is she fareing?"

The terrifying King of Angels, who had always played the villain in witch history books or various opera stories, did not seem frightening at all, even quite friendly as she smiled at Dorothy and asked this question.

Dorothy was slightly stunned by the appearance of the Angel, which resembled what Sophia would look like when fully matured in the future, but given her high resistance to beauty, she soon regained her composure.

"Um, quite well, actually. She eats, she sleeps, and aside from being a bit suicidal, everything else is fine," Dorothy considered before replying.

"Is that so?" The Lord of Glory nodded, showing genuine interest.

With a wave of her hand, the Temple Space, which initially belonged to the Vice-President, transformed from a church into a garden in the clouds, with a golden birdcage-like gazebo in the middle. There was a tea table inside, laden with an assortment of delicious sweets and hot tea.

"Come, child, join me for a cup of tea and tell me about my daughter," the noble and mature Big Sister Angel suddenly appeared next to the tea table, beckoning Dorothy warmly, as if she were a mother inviting her daughter's classmate over.

"Oh, right, I almost forgot to ask. Child, what is your name?" the Lord of Glory asked with a smile.

"Dorothy."

The Homebody Witch hesitated a moment but then gave her True Name.

While it was dangerous for a powerful being like the Angel to know one's name, Dorothy figured that if the Angel truly wanted to harm her, she would not need to resort to such petty tricks.

Without fear, she obediently walked to the tea table inside the gazebo, sat down, and curiously examined the heavenly delicacies before her.

"Hmm, a good name, a gift from the Deities. Child, you truly are worthy of such a name," the Lord of Glory complimented as she clapped her hands.

"Then, as an exchange, I will tell you my name. Gabriel, you may call me Sister Gabriel."

Dorothy took a sip of the tea before her, which wasn't easy to classify, and marveled at the rich tea flavor. As she drank it, it felt as if her Spirit had been cleansed, leaving her feeling extraordinarily relaxed.

She then took a bite of an adorable, rainbow-colored macaron-like pastry, and the near-heavenly experience it brought her was thoroughly enjoyable.

Upon hearing the Lord of Glory's introduction, Dorothy obediently nodded.@@novelbin@@

"Alright, Aunt Gabriel."

After all, the Angel was her roommate's paternal mother, and Dorothy thought calling her "sister" would be inappropriate.

"I said, call me sister," the Lord of Glory corrected her, and as Dorothy looked up to explain, the sight of Sister Gabriel's smiling face—along with an unsmiling gaze—sent a chill down her spine, and she quickly corrected herself with proper posture.

"Alright, sister, no problem, sister," Dorothy acquiesced.

Dorothy suddenly realized whom Fallen Angel Ruthfiel inherited her personality from.

"Very good, sister likes such nice children," the Lord of Glory's eyes sparkled with amusement upon hearing Dorothy comply. The King of Angels' smile was sweet, her eyes curling into beautiful crescents, warming the heart. Stay tuned with My Virtual Library Empire

This made Dorothy think again of her roommate. Unfortunately, Sophia always kept a straight face, and even when she did smile in "customer service mode," it seemed fake. But Dorothy imagined that if the Pure White Witch ever smiled genuinely, she would probably look just like this.
