Chapter 333: Conquering Honedge
Chapter 333: Conquering Honedge
Spending 131 billion to buy a palm-sized Soul Crystal—it was undoubtedly an astronomical price. However, the importance of the Soul Crystal was self-evident.
Julian handed his card to the attendant. After swiping the card, the attendant passed the Soul Crystal to him.
When neither Dawn nor the attendant was paying attention, he casually tossed the Soul Crystal into his shadow. A small white hand reached out from the darkness and pulled the stone inside.
At the same time, the financial manager of the Walker Corporation was sleeping at home when he suddenly received a call from his subordinate.
"Manager, there was just a massive expenditure from the corporation—totaling 131 billion!"
The manager, initially annoyed by the late-night call, immediately jumped out of bed upon hearing the amount.
Although the Walker Group ranked among the top five in Drakoria, with a market value exceeding 50 trillion, its cash flow was relatively limited—barely reaching 1 trillion.
Spending one-tenth of that amount without any prior notice was simply outrageous.
"Who was it? Have you found out?" the manager asked urgently.
Only a few people in the entire Walker Group had the authority to move such a large sum. The list included Chairman Henry Walker, his father John Walker, his younger brother Jake, his younger sister Quinn, and his nephew Julian.
"It was Young Master Julian," the subordinate reported.
"Understood. I'll report this to the chairman tomorrow."

Rockwell City, Auction House.
"The occupant of Box 7 has been identified. His name is Hector," Dawn said.
'Hector?'
Julian thought for a moment, but the name didn't ring a bell.
"Have you ever heard of this person?" Julian asked.
Dawn shook her head. "No, never."
"Why are you looking into him, Young Master?"
"He might want to kill me because I took something he wanted," Julian said frankly.
Dawn, however, dismissed the concern with a laugh. "You're joking, Young Master. Who in Drakoria would dare harm you?"
Not only was Julian himself already an Elite, but he had even defeated a peak Elite in battle. Killing him without letting him escape?
That was nearly impossible without multiple peak Elites working together.
Moreover, the newly emerged First-tier Legendary, Mewtwo, had a strong connection with Julian. Who knew if Julian could summon Mewtwo at will?
Dealing with Julian alone was already a headache, and on top of that, he had a grandfather at the Champion level.
Anyone with a brain wouldn't dare provoke Julian unless there were enormous benefits involved—let alone attempt to kill him.
Dawn didn't take Julian's concerns seriously at all. In fact, she thought he was overthinking things, a classic case of paranoia.
Back in the hotel lobby.
"Would you like to come up for a cup of coffee? My Slowking makes really good coffee."
Since the other party had given him a ride, Julian extended an invitation to Dawn as a gesture of gratitude.
Dawn was momentarily stunned. Then, her face flushed red at a visible speed.
At the same time, she inwardly complained about Julian's poor excuse. Who invites someone up for coffee in their room? And saying that Slowking makes it?
This was just as bad as those online posts where guys invite girls over by saying, "My cat can do a backflip. Want to come see?"
But… she had only just met him today. Going up to his room so soon—wasn't that a bit inappropriate?
Though, to be fair, he wasn't bad-looking. His physique was great, his family background, personality, and strength were all top-tier…
Julian noticed that Dawn didn't answer and instead seemed lost in thought. Assuming she wasn't interested, he didn't press the issue and simply turned to leave.
"...Alright then, but it's just for coffee—"
Halfway through her sentence, Dawn suddenly realized Julian was already gone.
Her face turned slightly annoyed, and she stomped her foot before leaving with a bit of frustration.
After reaching his room, Julian found the door left slightly open. Looking up, he saw a washbasin balanced on top of the door.
Julian: "Childish trick"
He reached out and pushed the door open—but instead of stepping inside, he stayed back. The washbasin fell from the doorframe, yet surprisingly, it was empty.
Just as he was feeling puzzled, a water balloon shot out from inside the room and splashed directly onto his face.
Celebi clutched its stomach, rolling through the air with laughter. "Hahaha! You're such an idiot!"
Julian wiped his face, took a deep breath, and looked down at his palm—only to see black stains.
'Damn it! This bas***d!'
Julian: "If you don't kneel and call me 'Dad' today, I'll change my last name to Metagross'!"
Metagross: So your last name would be 'Meta'…?
An hour later.
The entire room was in shambles. The bed had been smashed into pieces. The tables and chairs had been reduced to rubble.
"Apologize to me!"
Julian was furiously tugging at Celebi's mouth. In return, Celebi used its nature energy to form two small hands and pulled at Julian's mouth, stretching it so far that even his molars were visible.
On the side, several Pokémon were watching the chaos unfold: Slowking, Metagross, Lucario, and Gengar.
Gengar was even imitating them, pulling at its own mouth—stretching it so wide that it was now over a meter long.
Metagross: 'Julian Meta'… that actually sounds kinda cool.
Slowking: 'My coffee machine got destroyed…'
"Lucario, help me!"
Unfortunately, even though Julian's Mega Pallet Town physique was powerful, it didn't seem to give him much of an advantage against a Mythical Pokémon like Celebi.
"Luca~"
Lucario dashed forward—but it wasn't to help Julian.
Instead, Lucario gave both Julian and Celebi a light palm strike, effortlessly separating them.
"You brat! If it weren't for Lucario, I would've torn your mouth apart today!"
Now freed, Julian rubbed his face and glared fiercely at Celebi.
Celebi smirked. "Who do you think you're talking to, you weakling?"
Not wanting to continue arguing with Celebi, Julian opened a Poké Ball, releasing his Honedge.@@novelbin@@
The moment Honedge emerged, its blade slashed through the air in a sharp arc, cutting through the wind as it swung directly at Julian's head.
Honedge: "Die, you Mf***er!"
"Meta~"
Metagross immediately stopped Honedge midair using Psychic.
"Slowking, it's a problem child. Talk some sense into it. I'm going to take a shower."
Julian hadn't even washed his face yet, but after giving his instructions, he simply turned and walked into the bathroom.
For Pokémon that already have a trainer, unless they willingly accept a new one, it's incredibly difficult for them to follow a second trainer.
Especially if their first trainer was kind to them but ended up getting killed—being forced to switch trainers under such circumstances made it nearly impossible for them to accept their new one.
Some Pokémon even harbored resentment toward their second trainer, leading to extreme behavior.
When it came to loyalty, Pokémon were far more trustworthy than humans.
Julian wasn't good at counseling or 'reprogramming' Pokémon. That kind of work was better left to Slowking.
Sure enough, after about ten minutes, Julian finished his shower and came out to find Slowking leading Honedge toward him. This time, Honedge wasn't attacking.
Honedge: "I'll follow you… but if my original trainer is ever found, you have to release me immediately."
Julian: "Deal"
Saying that, he placed a new Poké Ball in front of Honedge.
Honedge hesitated for a moment before lightly tapping it. In an instant, it transformed into a beam of red light and entered the Poké Ball.
